The nanosized titania and TiO2/SiO2 particles were prepared by the microwave-hydrothermal method. The effect of physical properties TTIP/TEOS ratio and calcination temperature has been investigated. The major phase of the pure TiO2 particle is of the anatase structure, and a rutile peak was observed above 800°C. In TiO2/SiO2 particles, however, no significant rutile phase was observed, although the calcination temperature was 900°C. No peaks for the silica crystal phase were observed at either silica/titania ratio. The crystallite size of TiO2/SiO2 particles decreases as compared to pure TiO2 at high calcination temperatures. The TiO2/SiO2 particles show higher activity on the photocatalytic decomposition of orange II as compared to pure TiO2 particles.  相似文献

Pt‐nanoparticles were synthesized and introduced into a carbon paste electrode (CPE), and the resulting modified electrode was applied to the anodic stripping voltammetry of copper(II) ions. The synthesized Pt‐nanoparticles were characterized by cyclic voltammetry, scanning electron microscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy techniques to confirm the purity and the size of the prepared Pt‐nanoparticles (ca. 20 nm). This incorporated material seems to act as catalysts with preconcentration sites for copper(II) species that enhances the sensitivity of Cu(II) ions to Cu(I) species at a deposition potential of ?0.6 V in an aqueous solution. The experimental conditions, such as, the electrode composition, pH of the solution, pre‐concentration time, were optimized for the determination of Cu(II) ion using as‐prepared electrode. The sensitivity changes on the different binder materials and the presence of surfactants in the test solution. The interference effect of the coexisted metals were also investigated. In the presence of surfactants, especially TritonX‐100, the Cu(II) detection limit was lowered to 3.9×10?9 M. However, the Pt‐nanoparticle modified CPE begins to degrade when the period of deposition exceeds to 10 min. Linear response for copper(II) was found in the concentration range between 3.9×10?8 M and 1.6×10?6 M, with an estimated detection limit of 1.6×10?8 M (1.0 ppb) and relative standard deviation was 4.2% (n=5).  相似文献

Lead zirconate titanate (PZT) thin films were deposited on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si and interlayer/Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate by radio frequency (r.f.) magnetron sputtering with a Pb1.1Zr0.53Ti0.47O3 target. The crystallization of the PZT thin films was formed only by substrate temperature. When interlayer (PbO/TiO2) was inserted between the PZT thin film and the Pt electrode, the grain growth and processing temperature of the PZT thin films were considerably improved. Compared to PZT/Pt structure, the dielectric constant and polarization properties of the PZT/interlayer/Pt structure were fairly improved. In particular, PZT/interlayer/Pt at the substrate temperature of 400 °C showed prevalent ferroelectric properties (r=475.97, tanδ=0.0591, Pr=23 μC/cm2). As a result of an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) depth-profile analysis, it was found that PZT/interlayer/Pt deposited only by substrate temperature without the post-annealing process via r.f. magnetron sputtering method remained independent of each other regardless of substrate temperatures.  相似文献

Cancer immunotherapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) has revolutionized the treatment of advanced cancers. However, the tumor microenvironment (TME) functions as a formidable barrier that severely impairs the efficacy of ICIs. While the crosstalk between tumor vessels and immune cells determines the nature of anti-tumor immunity, it is skewed toward a destructive cycle in growing tumors. First, the disorganized tumor vessels hinder CD8+ T cell trafficking into the TME, disable effector functions, and even kill T cells. Moreover, VEGF, the key driver of angiogenesis, interferes with the maturation of dendritic cells, thereby suppressing T cell priming, and VEGF also induces TOX-mediated exhaustion of CD8+ T cells. Meanwhile, a variety of innate and adaptive immune cells contribute to the malformation of tumor vessels. Protumoral M2-like macrophages as well as TH2 and Treg cells secrete pro-angiogenic factors that accelerate uncontrolled angiogenesis and promote vascular immaturity. While CD8+ T and CD4+ TH1 cells suppress angiogenesis and induce vascular maturation by secreting IFN-γ, they are unable to infiltrate the TME due to malformed tumor vessels. These findings led to preclinical studies that demonstrated that simultaneous targeting of tumor vessels and immunity is a viable strategy to normalize aberrant vascular-immune crosstalk and potentiate cancer immunotherapy. Furthermore, this combination strategy has been evidently demonstrated through recent pivotal clinical trials, granted approval from FDA, and is now being used in patients with kidney, liver, lung, or uterine cancer. p21Cip/WAF1, an important regulator of cell proliferation, is induced by both p53- and extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK) pathways. The induction of p21Cip/WAF1 occurs by prolonged activation of the ERKs caused by extracellular stimuli, such as zinc. However, not all the cells appeared to respond to ERK pathway dependent p21Cip/WAF1 induction. Here we investigated the cause of such difference using colorectal cancer cells. p21Cip/WAF1 induction and concomitant reduction of bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) incorporation were observed by zinc treatment within HT-29 and DLD-1. However, HCT-116 cells with high endogenous p21Cip/WAF1 levels did not show any additional increment of p21Cip/WAF1 levels by zinc treatment and did maintain high BrdU incorporation level. The p21Cip/WAF1 induction by zinc depended upon prolonged activation of extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK) was not observed in HCT-116 cells. The percentage of BrdU positive cells was 50% higher in p21Cip/WAF1 -/- HCT-116 cells compared to p21Cip/WAF1 +/+ HCT- 116 cells, and no cells induced p21Cip/WAF1 incorporated BrdU in its nucleus, yet confirming the importance of p21Cip/WAF1 induction in anti- proliferation. These results again support that p21Cip/WAF1 induction is a determinant in the regulation of colonic proliferation by the ERK pathway.  相似文献

Herpes virus entry mediator (HVEM) is a newly discovered member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily that has a role in herpes simplex virus entry, in T cell activation and in tumor immunity. We generated mAb against HVEM and detected soluble HVEM (SHVEM) in the sera of patients with various autoimmune diseases. HVEM was constitutively expressed on CD4(+) and CD8(+) T cells, CD19(+) B cells, CD14(+) monocytes, neutrophils and dendritic cells. In three-way MLR, mAb 122 and 139 were agonists and mAb 108 had blocking activity. An ELISA was developed to detect sHVEM in patient sera. sHVEM levels were elevated in sera of patients with allergic asthma, atopic dermatitis and rheumatoid arthritis. The mAbs discussed here may be useful for studies of the role of HVEM in immune responses. Detection of soluble HVEM might have diagnostic and prognostic value in certain immunological disorders.  相似文献

A highly sensitive and selective glucose biosensor has been developed based on immobilization of glucose oxidase within mesoporous carbon nanotube–titania–Nafion composite film coated on a platinized glassy carbon electrode. Synergistic electrocatalytic activity of carbon nanotubes and electrodeposited platinum nanoparticles on electrode surface resulted in an efficient reduction of hydrogen peroxide, allowing the sensitive and selective quantitation of glucose by the direct reduction of enzymatically‐liberated hydrogen peroxide at ?0.1 V versus Ag/AgCl (3 M NaCl) without a mediator. The present biosensor responded linearly to glucose in the wide concentration range from 5.0×10?5 to 5.0×10?3 M with a good sensitivity of 154 mA M?1cm?2. Due to the mesoporous nature of CNT–titania–Nafion composite film, the present biosensor exhibited very fast response time within 2 s. In addition, the present biosensor did not show any interference from large excess of ascorbic acid and uric acid.  相似文献

The decarboxylation kinetics of 2,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid have been studied in 0.1–8 N aqueous HCl at 50°. At low HCl concentrations, the observed first order rate constant, k, increases with increasing acidity of the solution. In solutions with 3.5–6 N HCl, k remains constant. The D2O solvent isotope effect decreases from kH2O/kD2O = 2.0 in 1N HCl to 1.3 in 5 N HCl, and it remains unchanged at 1.3 if the HCl concentration is increased further to 8 N. It is concluded that an increase of the acidity of the solution causes a change of the rate determining step from slow proton transfer to rate limiting C? C bond cleavage.  相似文献

Eupatilin (5,7-dihydroxy-3',4',6-trimethoxy flavone) is an active ingredient of an ethanol extract of Artemisia asiatica (DA-9601) that is used in the treatment of gastritis. In vitro and in vivo metabolism of eupatilin in the rats has been studied by LC-electrospray mass spectrometry. Rat liver microsomal incubation of eupatilin in the presence of NADPH and UDPGA resulted in the formation of four metabolites (M1-M4). M1, M2, M3 and M4 were tentatively identified as 3'- or 4'-O-demethyl-eupatilin glucuronide, eupatilin glucuronide, 6-O-demethyleupatilin and 3'- or 4'-O-demethyl-eupatilin, respectively. Those metabolites from in vitro study were also characterized in bile, plasma or urine samples after an intravenous administration of eupatilin to rats. In rat bile, plasma and urine samples, eupatilin glucuronide (M2) was a major metabolite, whereas M3, M4 and M4 glucuronide (M1) were the minor metabolites.  相似文献
