We observed the lasing of highly sensitized Nd/Cr:YAG ceramic disks that use artificial solar radiation pumping. The disk material can be used for high power multi-stage amplifiers pumped by lamplight or sunlight because of its scalability and ability to handle high power densities. A maximum output power of 86 mW was experimentally obtained, and this value correlated well with the calculated results. A small signal gain of 1.9 was obtained, and the estimated stored energy was 0.6 J/cm3, which is three or four times higher than that from a Nd:YAG medium.  相似文献

The data on the vector A y and tensor A yy , A xx , A xz analyzing powers for the d3H p reaction have been obtained at the energy of the initial deuteron of 200MeV in the angular range of 0–95 degrees in the c.m.s. The calculations performed within one-nucleon exchange model with the use of the standard three-nucleon bound state wave functions fail to reproduce the data on the tensor analyzing powers.  相似文献

Surface contouring by phase-shifting digital holography is proposed that provides surface height from a change of reconstructed object phases due to the tilt of object illumination. Surface height from a reference plane is directly obtained from the phase change. Its sensitivity depends on the tilt angle as well as on the initial incident angle. By proper selection of the angles we can derive surface height without phase unwrapping. The sensitivity can be enhanced by increasing the tilt angle. Then we need phase unwrapping that is sensitive to noise due to laser speckles in the reconstructed images. This noise could be suppressed by selecting phase values at points of the maximum product of amplitudes before and after the illumination change in the course of data reduction from 1024×1024 to 512×512 and by selecting paths for phase unwrapping by looking for the intensity maximum. The observed height resolution is 20 μm. Effects of numerical focusing have also been investigated. The present method has the same sensitivity as the fringe projection method, but it has larger measurement depth and is also applicable to the deformation measurement with the same arrangement.  相似文献

Strong fluence dependence of photodesorption cross sections is observed in femtosecond laser photodesorption of NO from (NO)2 on silver nanoparticles, in contrast to femtosecond photodesorption on bulk metals. The time scale of excitation buildup is found to be equal or less than the pulse duration of ~100 fs; NO translational energies are independent of fluence and pulse duration. We propose a nanoparticle-specific nonlinear mechanism in which, due to confinement, strongly nonthermal hot-electron distributions are maintained during the femtosecond pulses, enhancing the normal desorption pathway.  相似文献

The photo-excitation and Auger decay processes of inner-shell double vacancy states 1s2s2p^6(1,3^S)3s3p of neutral neon atoms have been studied theoretically. Multi-configuration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) calculations have been carried out, with electron correlation effects taken into consideration. The relaxation of core and excited orbitals and configuration interaction are found to be crucial to creating the double vacancy states by single photo-absorption. The predominant decay paths for the double vacancy states turn out to be of the LLM Auger decay to 1s 2s^22p^53s(3p), KLL Auger decay to 1s^22s2p^43s3p, and KLM Auger decay to 1s^22p^63s(3p). They lead to further Auger decay, creating the neon ions of multiple charge states. For both double and single vacancy states the spectator type of Auger process is dominated in all the Auger decay processes. Theoretical Anger electron spectra are presented for further investigations, experimental and theoretical.  相似文献

Integrated intensities of X-ray reflections from a barium chloride fluoride single crystal were measured at 24, 180, 289, 402, 467 and 610°C. The intensities were used for the determination of the anharmonic potential parameters up to the third order. Harmonic potential parameters for each ion were obtained from the temperature dependence of thermal parameters, and anharmonic potential parameters were determined by the least-squares procedures, utilizing the temperature factor formalism based on the cumulant expansion. As a result, it has been found that the Ba2+ and Cl? ions show an anharmonicity, while no significant anharmonic effect was detected for the F? ion. From the potential calculated around the Cl? and F? ions, it was found that both Cl? and F? ions diffuse more easily within the (001) plane than along the c axis.  相似文献
