Polyion complex micelles entrapping enzyme molecules in the core provide a unique reaction field inducing a remarkable elevation of enzymatic reactivity through a drastic change in the binding specificity between the enzyme and substrate. On-off switching of this enhanced effect was achieved through the destabilization of the core domain by applying a pulse electric field.  相似文献

A 1,10-phenanthroline-appended cholesterol-based gelator (1) and its nongelling reference compound (2) were synthesized. Among 19 solvents tested herein, gelator 1 could gelate 11 solvents including alcohols, dipolar aprotic solvents, organic acids and a base (triethylamine), indicating that 1 acts as a versatile gelator. The TEM observation gave a visual image showing that fibrillar aggregates are entangled in the three-dimensional network structure. In the fluorescence measurements, most gels afforded an emission maximum at 394 nm (purple emission), whereas only the acetic acid gel afforded an emission maximum at 522 nm (yellow emission). Thus, the influence of protonation of the 1,10-phenanthroline nitrogens (by trifluoroacetic acid) on the fluorescence properties in the gel phase was investigated in detail. The results have established that the fluorescence intensity of 1 x H+ becomes particularly strong in the gel phase, presumably because of the energy transfer from neutral 1* to protonated 1 x H+ and the restriction of the 1 x H+ molecular motion. The finding suggests the possibility that the gel system would be useful not only as a new proton-sensitive fluorescence system but also as a new medium for designing efficient energy transfer systems.  相似文献

This paper reports the successful operation of a 70 MHz driving surface acoustic wave (SAW) linear motor with a miniaturized stator transducer. This paper also deals with an investigation into an optimized slider design for the miniaturized SAW linear motor. The performance of three silicon type sliders, with different projection size, was compared. Output forces of the three sliders were measured with change of pre-load. It was found that the slider with smaller projection tended to produce greater output force.  相似文献

Ultrasonic motors are suitable for a micro-actuator because of a direct drive, no brake and their simple construction. In order to fabricate micro-ultrasonic motors, a piezoelectric thin film is essential. In this study, a hydrothermal method was adopted to deposit a PZT thin film. The dimensions of the stator transducer were: outer diameter, 1.4 mm; inner diameter, 1.2 mm; and length, 5.0 mm. The resonance frequency of the stator transducer was 227 kHz, and the vibration amplitude was 58 nmp-p at an input voltage of 4.0 Vp-p. The maximum revolution speed was 680 rpm, and the maximum starting torque was 0.67 microNm. The experimental conditions were 20 Vp-p and 5.3 mN pre-load. The motor property versus scale was investigated using an equivalent circuit. The calculated results indicated that the output torque of the 100 microns diameter motor was 27 nNm.  相似文献

Abstract

Accuracy of hydrostatic pressure measurement in a diamond-anvil cell (DAC) depends on the reproducibility of ruby RI fluorescent measurement. The larger scatter in R, fluorescent wavelength shift than the reproducibility of spectroscopic measurement was observed among appropriately mirror-finished ruby plates before setting up in DAC. The characteristics of the scatter changed after loading DAC up to pressure over hydrostatic limit. They vanished by annealing the ruby plates. These phenomena are presumably due to the appearance and disappearance of the residual stress in the ruby crystal. Such hysteresis of ruby fluorescent wavelength shift by pressure and its annealing effect are discussed.  相似文献

Abstract

New bifunctional reagents, 2-amino-6-carboxyethylpyridine and 2-amino-6-cyanoethylpyridine, were designed and synthesized in order to provide a novel procedure for preparation of neoglycoconjugates from fluorescence-labeled and purified sugar chains. Labeling of model sugar chains with these reagents was effected by reductive amination using BH3.Me2NH to give corresponding 6-carboxyethylpyridylaminated (CEPA-) and 6-cyanoethylpyridylaminated (CNEPA-) derivatives, which were readily purified by reversed phase HPLC. The reagent parts of the labeled products possess the functional groups which then serve as linkers for coupling with matrices such as proteins and polymers. A CEPA-derivative of glucose was directly coupled with the ε-amino group of a Lys derivative to give a neoglycoprotein model. CNEPA-sugars were hydrogenated to give 6-aminopropylpyridylaminated (APPA-) derivatives, which can then be readily used for the preparation of various types of neoglycoconjugates by use of appropriate spacers as exemplified by the coupling of APPA-maltotriose with bovine serum albumin (BSA), biotin, and acrylic acid. The reaction of APPA-maltotriose with succinimidyl 3-(3-nitro-2-pyridyldithio)propionate gave the corresponding amide to be used for a disulfide formation with BSA. Condensation with biotin was effected by use of N-hydroxysuccinimidobiotin. The conjugation of APPA-maltotriose with acrylic acid was carried out by use of 4-acryloyloxyphenyldimethylsulfonium methylsulfate to give the corresponding acrylamide, which can be used for the preparation of sugar-acrylamide copolymers.  相似文献

A systematic study on muon catalyzed fusion (μCF) was conducted in solid deuterium and tritium (D–T) mixture. A variety of experimental conditions were investigated, i.e., tritium concentrations from 20 to 70%, temperatures from 5 to 16 K. A preliminary analysis result suggests a steep decrease in the dtμ-molecule formation rate with decreasing temperature, and also an increase in the probability for a muon reactivation after an α-sticking phenomenon. We have systematically investigated structures and properties of inclusion crystals of bile acids and their derivatives. These steroidal compounds form diverse host frameworks having zero‐, one‐ and two‐dimensional cavities, causing various inclusion behaviors towards many organic compounds. The diverse host frameworks exhibit the following guest‐dependent flexibility. First, the frameworks mainly depend on the included guests in size and shape. The size‐dependence is quantitatively estimated by the parameter PCcavity, which is the volume ratio of a guest molecule to a host cavity. The resulting values of PCcavity lie in the range of 42–76%. Second, each of the host frameworks has its own range of the values. Some guests can employ two different frameworks with the boundary values, explaining formation of polymorphic crystals. Third, the host frameworks are selected by host–guest interactions through weak hydrogen bonds, such as NH/π and CH/O. The weak hydrogen bonds play an important role for various selective inclusion processes. Fourth, the host frameworks are dynamically exchangeable, resulting in intercalation and polymerization in the cavities. These static and dynamic structures of the frameworks demonstrate great potential of crystalline organic inclusion compounds as functional materials. © 2009 The Japan Chemical Journal Forum and Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
