Mesoporous silica particles have been prepared by hydrolysis of TEOS (Si(OC2H5)4) in bicontinuous microemulsions containing polyoxyethylene (POE) dodecylether, isooctane and water. TEOS was dissolved in a continuous water phase and hydrolyzed by the dispersed water at around the phase inversion temperature (60°C). Undulating solid materials with layered mesostructures were produced from middle-phase microemulsions in the three phase region (o/w=0.2–0.7). On the other hand, the solids obtained from the lower aqueous phase in the three phase region were found to have a heterogeneous disordered structure. Measurements of the fractal dimensions were performed in the macropore region using a box-counting method for the outline of the SEM texture. We found that the macropore size distribution in the particles prepared from the middle-phase microemulsion follows the fractal rule with a dimension of 1.7. From the results of nitrogen adsorption/desorption curves on the silica, a steep increase in the adsorption amounts was observed at a relative pressure below 0.2, and adsorption/desorption hysteresis was also observed at a relative pressure between 0.3 and 0.5. These studies suggest that the silica synthesized in the bicontinuous microemulsion mesostructure has a very broad size range from micro to macropores with a fractal distribution. 相似文献

A powerful and accurate numerical three‐dimensional integration scheme was developed especially for molecular orbital calculations. A multicenter integral is decomposed into the sum of single‐center integrals using nuclear weight functions and calculated using Gaussian quadrature rules. The decomposed single‐center integrands show strong anisotropy. With a careful selection of the Gaussian quadrature rule according to the anisotropy, it is possible to obtain an accuracy of 13 digits with a small number of integration points for the overlap integrals, normalization integrals, and molecular integrals for the hydrogen molecule. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Twist bend nematic (NTB)-forming 9OCCHP5 and 11OCCHP5 dimers were synthesised by one-step condensation of 4-(4-pentylcyclohexyl) benzoic acid and alkyl diol with yields as high as 80%. Although each dimer formed the NTB phase only during the cooling process in a narrow temperature width as large as 4°C, their equiweight mixture formed an NTB phase during both the heating and cooling processes, displaying elliptical polygonal domains and rope-like optical texture. The NTB temperature range became wider by 29–38°C and reduced the orientational order parameter significantly from 0.39 to 0.29 with decreasing temperature. 相似文献

vapor followed by immersion in ethylenediamine. Introduction of amino groups were confirmed by Fourier transform IR spectrometry,
ninhydrin test, and acid–base titration. Starting from 2-aminoethylaminated polyethylene, modification cycles to grow a dendrimer
on the film were applied; these consisted of 2-methoxycarbonylethylation and 2-aminoethylamidation. This technique resulted
in hyperbranched modification of the polymer. The product is a kind of dendrimer grown on the surface of polyethylene film
with amplified amino ends and has anion-exchange capacity and absorbs acid dye. Its application in practical uses is discussed.

The antioxidant activities of pueraria glycoside (PG)-1 (isoflavonoid) and mangiferin (xanthonoid) were studied and compared with PG-3 and daidzein (isoflavonoids) and with wogonin (flavonoid). PG-1 and mangiferin rapidly scavenged 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical, and inhibited lipid peroxidation which was initiated enzymatically by reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) or non-enzymatically by ascorbic acid or Fenton's reagent (H2O2 + Fe2+) in rat liver microsomes. Wogonin inhibited the enzymatically induced lipid peroxidation but had no scavenging effect on DPPH radical or on the non-enzymatic peroxidation. PG-3 and daidzein did not show any of these effects. Formation of Fe2+ by NADPH-dependent cytochrome P-450 reductase was inhibited by wogonin, but not by PG-1 or mangiferin. PG-1 and mangiferin had no effect on terminating radical chain reaction during the lipid peroxidation in the enzymatic system of microsomes or in the linoleic acid hydroperoxide-induced peroxidation system. These results suggest that PG-1 and mangiferin have an antioxidant activity, probably due to their ability to scavenge free radicals involved in initiation of lipid peroxidation. In contrast, wogonin may affect NADPH-dependent cytochrome P-450 reductase action, since it inhibited only the enzymatically induced lipid peroxidation. 相似文献
