The chaotic transition is observed in a three-coupled phase-locked loop (PLL) system in both experiments and numerical simulations. In this system, three PLL oscillators are connected with the periodic boundary condition. Intermittency is found in partially synchronized phase, in which two of three oscillators synchronize with each other and form a pair, and the chaotic transition occurs due to the recombination of synchronized pairs so that different pair is re-formed. In this phase, on-off intermittency is also observed and statistical analyses are carried out for on-off intermittent time series. This intermittency is considered as a hybrid type of intermittency with both on-off intermittency and intermittency due to the recombination of synchronized pairs present in the same time series. In this paper, we give a characterization of the structurally stable vector fields by making use of the notion of topological stability. More precisely, it is proved that the interior of the set of all topologically stable vector fields coincides with the set of all vector fields satisfying Axiom A and the strong transversality condition.

For the quantum Calogero-Moser model, we present the following two results. First, it has a set of conserved operators which are involutive. This proves the integrability of the model. Sorption and transport of carbon dioxide were investigated for poly(4,4'-oxydiphenylene-pyromellitimide) films (PI-1, PI-2, and PI-3) imidized at 160, 200, and 400°C, respectively, as well as for a chemically identical commercial polyimide film, Kapton-H. The solubility, permeability, and diffusion coefficients (S, P, and \[ \overline D \] , respectively) at 80°C and 20 atm in PI-3 were 67, 25, and 37%, respectively, as large as those in PI-2. These significant reductions are attributed to a higher degree of segmental aggregation in PI-3 caused by a 1.7% increase in the density (d) as compared with PI-2. The differences in S, P, \[ \overline D \] , and d between PI-3 and Kapton-H were rather small as compared with those between PI-3 and PI-2, suggesting that the in-plane orientation has a minor effect on the sorption and transport in Kapton-H as compared with the aggregation. Influence of the morphology on the dual-mode sorption and transport parameters was also investigated. With increasing density, the Langmuir capacity constant and the diffusion coefficients for the Henry's law and Langmuir populations decreased by higher rates than the Henry's law solubility constant, being contrary to the results reported for a typical semicrystalline glassy polymer, polyethylene terephthalate. This may suggest that the nonaggregated or less-aggregated regions taking an important part in the sorption and transport are denser for the sample having a higher overall density.  相似文献

We consider an asymptotic expansion of Kashaevs invariant or of the colored Jones function for the torus link T(2,2m). Quantum-correlated twin beams were generated from a triply resonant optical parametric oscillator with an a-cut KTP crystal pumped by a frequency-doubled diode laser. A total output of 5.1 mW was obtained in the classical-nonclassical light-conversion system driven by a 50-mW diode laser at 1080 nm. A quantum-noise reduction of 4.3 dB (63%) in the intensity difference between the twin beams was successfully observed at the detection frequency of 3 MHz.  相似文献

It is shown that the noncovalent donor-spacer-acceptor (DSA) motif is useful in constructing an electron-transfer assembly. As a representative example, the equilibrium and structure of one of the DSA assemblies, consisting of Zn-tetraphenylporphyrin, a spacer unit bearing pyridine and amidinium moieties, and 3,4-dinitrobenzoic acid, were studied in detail by the extensive use of UV-vis titration, fluorescence spectroscopy, and 1H NMR, with the help of a three-component equilibrium model. Complex formation and fluorescence quenching in 20 different DSA complexes constructed from a library of five donors, two spacers, and two acceptors were investigated. It has been experimentally shown that supramolecular modular approach is useful for a systematic and quick search for a functionally optimized assembly.  相似文献

Diffusion-weighted three-dimensional MP-RAGE MR imaging   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The advantages of three-dimensional (3D) acquisition are that you obtain thinner and more slices with better profiles, and better signal-to-noise ratio for an equivalent slice thickness. Three-dimensional acquisition is preferable for obtaining contiguous thin-slice MR images. However, the acquisition time extends compared with the two-dimensional acquisition because the second phase-encode axis is applied by the 3D acquisition. Therefore, 3D acquisition should be a high-speed imaging method. In this paper, a new diffusion-sensitive 3D magnetization-prepared rapid gradient-echo (3D MP-RAGE) sequence was studied. In this sequence, a preparation phase with a 90 degrees RF-motion proving gradient (MPG): MPG-180 degrees RF-MPG-90 degrees RF pulse train (diffusion-weighted driven-equilibrium Fourier transform) was used to sensitize the magnetization to diffusion. Centric k-space acquisition order is necessary to minimize saturation effects from tissues with short relaxation times. From phantom experimental results, the effect of the diffusion weighting was changed by the centric vs. sequential k-space acquisition order. The effect of centric k-space acquisition order was larger than the effect of sequential k-space acquisition order. The contrast of centric k-space acquisition order became equal to the contrast of conventional diffusion-weighted spin echo. From rat experimental results, small isotropic diffusion-weighted image data (voxel size: 0.625 x 0.625 x 0.625 mm3) were obtained. This sequence was useful in vivo.  相似文献
