Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of hydrated zeolite NaX (Si/Al = 1.0) and NaY (Si/Al = 2.0) were done at a temperature of 300 K. The calculation results show that the adsorption of water occurs via a three-step mechanism in zeolite NaX: (1) adsorption around Na, (2) formation of a monolayer on the walls, and (3) pore filling in the supercage during which adsorbed water molecules are localized around the 12-membered rings. Zeolite NaY adsorbs in a similar manner. However, at intermediate hydration states, cluster formation occurs around Na instead of monolayer formation. The calculated energy distribution functions suggest that in zeolite NaX, the water vapor adsorption can be expressed by using the Langmuir model with two adsorption sites, but in zeolite NaY, it is not Langmuir-type adsorption.  相似文献

Poly-2,5-distyrylpyrazine (poly-DSP) was investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and measurements of dynamic viscoelastic and electrical properties. From DTA and TGA studies it was confirmed that poly-DSP melts at 321°C and depolymerizes rapidly to the monomer at temperatures between 335°C and 345°C in helium. The polymer is affected by oxygen above 200°C. The E′ value from dynamic viscoelasticity measurements on amorphous film is 2 × 1011 dyne/cm2 at room temperature. It decrease abruptly in the temperature range 140–150°C; but the net decrease of E′ within this temperature range is relatively small. The electrical properties of amorphous poly-DSP are characterized by a small temperature dependence of the dielectric constant between room temperature and 100°C. The dielectric loss tangent was observed to be small, and the dc conductivity was extremely small. It is concluded that rotation of the phenyl branches in the polymer occurs above ?30°C and the glass transition occurs at about 150°C. These properties are discussed in some detail in relation to the polymer structure.  相似文献

D -α-Methylbenzyl methacrylate, [α] = +51.3° (neat), was polymerized by n-butyllithium in toluene–tetrahydrofuran mixtures of various solvent ratios at ?78°C. The polymers obtained were converted into poly(methyl methacrylate)s, which were analyzed for tacticity by high resolution NMR spectroscopy. A linear relationship was obtained between the optical rotation and the isotacticity of poly(D -α-methylbenzyl methacrylate). The extrapolation of the data gave +120° and +99° for [α] of the fully isotactic and syndiotactic polymers, respectively. The copolymerization of the D - and L -isomers in toluene gave copolymers which were less isotactic than the homopolymer of the D -isomer. The optical rotation of the copolymer was proportional to the excess of one isomer in the polymer.  相似文献

It has been shown that every quadrangulation on any nonspherical orientable closed surface with a sufficiently large representativity has chromatic number at most 3. In this paper, we show that a quadrangulation G on a nonorientable closed surface Nk has chromatic number at least 4 if G has a cycle of odd length which cuts open Nk into an orientable surface. Moreover, we characterize the quadrangulations on the torus and the Klein bottle with chromatic number exactly 3. By our characterization, we prove that every quadrangulation on the torus with representativity at least 9 has chromatic number at most 3, and that a quadrangulation on the Klein bottle with representativity at least 7 has chromatic number at most 3 if a cycle cutting open the Klein bottle into an annulus has even length. As an application of our theory, we prove that every nonorientable closed surface Nk admits an eulerian triangulation with chromatic number at least 5 which has arbitrarily large representativity. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
