Molecular structure of (diethyldithiocarbomoyl)diphenylthiophosphinate

X-Ray study of (diethyldithiocarbomoyl)diphenylthiophosphinate was carried out. AZ-conformation of the diethyldithiocarbomoyl ligand, which results in a short nonvalent intramolecular P...S contact (3.315 Å), is realized in the molecule. Molecular structure of ortho-nitrobenzyltriethylammonium bromide

It was established by x-ray crystallographic analysis that the molecular o-nitrobenzyltriethylammonium cation has an orthogonal orientation of the benzene ring and the vicinal C-N⁺ bond (=93.8°). The nitro group deviates from the plane of the aromatic ring by an angle of 26.9°. One of the ethyl groups at the quaternary nitrogen atom is in an ap-conformation (=176.2°); the other two are in sc-conformations, characterized by torsional angles 65.1 and 69.4°.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 8, pp. 1816–1818, August, 1991.     

Molecular structure of 4,5;7,8-(4′,4″-dimethyl-6′,6″-di-tert-butyl)dibenzo-6h-2-diethylamino-2-thiono-1,3,2-dioxaphosphocine

Conclusions X-ray structure analysis shows that for 4,5;7,8(4,4 -dimethyl-6,6-di-tert-butyl)-dibenzo-6H-2-diethylamino-2-thiono-1,3,2-dioxaphosphocine, the boat-chair conformation of C_s symmetry with an equatorial diethylamino group occurs in the crystal.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 1, pp. 74–77, January, 1989.     

Structure of the condensation product of benzalaniline with N,N-dimethylamide of dichloroacetic acid under darzens reaction conditions

Condensation of benzalaniline with N,N-dimethylamide of dichloroacetic acid under Darzens reaction conditions was used to obtain r-1, t-3-diphenyl-c-2-chloro-2-(NN-dimethylcarbamoyl)aziridine. The structure was established by x-ray diffraction analysis. Stabilization of the position of the substituents at the atoms of the aziridine ring by the hyperconjugation interaction of the unshared electron pair of the nitrogen atom with the antibonding orbital of the C-CI bond is discussed.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 2, pp. 189–192, February, 1994. The structure of 1-phenyl-3-benzoylamino-4-benzoylpyrazol-2-in-5-one

Crystal and molecular structure of 1-phenyl-3-benzoylamino-4-benzoylpyrazol-2-in-5-one as a product of the benzoylation of 1-phenyl-3-benzoylaminopyrazol-2-in-5-one was characterised by X-ray single crystal diffraction. It is shown that 1-phenyl-3-benzoylamino-4-benzoylpyrazol-2-in-5-one exists in the solid phase in an NH-tautomeric form, which is stabilised by two intramolecular hydrogen bonds and one intermolecular bond with the solvate dioxane molecule, the latter being used as a solvent for recrystallisation.

Novel Copper(I) Complexes and Clusters with Phosphorus-Sulfur and Sulfur-Sulfur Containing Ligands

Abstract

The synthesis and coordination chemistry of ligands bearing PS donor groups in complexes with copper(I) halides, in particular thiophosphites, thiophosphonites, and thiophosphinites, are described.     

Synthesis of Prenyl‐ and Geranyl‐Substituted Carbazole Alkaloids by DIBAL‐H Promoted Reductive Pyran Ring Opening of Dialkylpyrano[3,2‐a]carbazoles

The DIBAL‐H promoted reductive pyran ring opening of dialkylpyrano[3,2‐a]carbazoles provides a direct access to a broad range of prenyl‐ and geranyl‐substituted carbazoles. Formation of a pyran ring followed by reductive ring opening represents a new method for the introduction of prenyl and geranyl groups. In the course of the present work, we achieved the first total syntheses of the following eight carbazole alkaloids: clauraila‐E, 7‐hydroxyheptaphylline, 7‐methoxyheptaphylline, mukoenine‐B (clausenatine‐A), mukoenine‐A (girinimbilol), mahanimbinol (mahanimbilol), euchrestine‐A, and isomurrayafoline‐B.
