Synthesen und pharmakologische Eigenschaften von 2,2-Dialkyl-5-aryl-3-pyridylpyrrolidinen

Syntheses and Pharmacological Properties of 2,2-Dialkyl-5-aryl-3-pyridylpyrrolidines Reaction of the photochemically generated benzonitrile methylides 2 with vinylpyridines yields 2-aryl-4-pyridyl-1-pyrrolines 3. Depending on reduction methods, the compounds 3 are selectively transformed to the corresponding cis- or the trans-substituted pyrrolidines 10 or 11 , respectively. Furthermore, a non-photochemical synthesis has been developed: the easily available nitro-ketones 8 provide through reductive cyclization the pyrrolines 3 or directly the pyrrolidines 11. Twenty-seven compounds of types 10 and 11 have been evaluated in the writhing, hot plate and kaolin tests; especially the cis-pyrrolidines 10 exhibit a valuable antinociceptive activity. Some of the pyrrolines and pyrrolidines have been separated into their enantiomers, which are easily interconverted.     

Computer model of the formation of self-organizing systems

A model of a simple self-organizing system is investigated. Mechanisms that are important to a molecular-biological understanding of evolution are studied with the aid of the model.

13C-NMR-spektren von bicyclo[n.1.0]alkenen

The ¹³C-NMR spectra of some bicyclo[3.1.0]hex-3-en-2-ols and of some bicyclo[3.1.0]hex-3-en-2-ones are described. The bond parameters of bicyclo[3.1.0]hex-3-en-2-one are derived from a structure determination of endo-6-methoxy-1,3,6-triphenylbicyclo[3.1.0]hex-3-en-2-one. The electron density is calculated by the EHT method, and correlated with the ¹³C NMR shifts. For comparison the ¹³C NMR spectrum of a bicyclo[4.1.0]hepta-1,5-dione derivative is analysed. The influence of a cyclopropane system attached to a five-membered and to a six-membered ring is elucidated. Whereas the five-membered ring shows conjugation between the carbonyl group and the cyclopropane system, the same effect is not observed in the six-membered ring analogue. This is explained by the highly rigid structure of the five-membered ring.
