In 1990, J. L. Krivine introduced the notion of storage operator to simulate, for Church integers, the “call by value” in a context of a “call by name” strategy. In the present paper we define for every λ-term S which realizes the successor function on Church integers the notion of S-storage operator. Both “passage” and “collision” (head-on) interactions are studied for initially identical vortices. Good correspondence with experiments is obtained. A multidisciplinary investigation on Achillea moschata Wulfen (Asteraceae) is outlined herein. This work, part of the European Interreg Italy–Switzerland B-ICE project, originated from an ethnobotanical survey performed in Chiesa in Valmalenco (Sondrio, Lombardy, Northern Italy) in 2019–2021 which highlighted this species’ relevance of use in folk medicine to treat gastrointestinal diseases. In addition, this contribution included analyses of the: (a) phytochemical profile of the aqueous and methanolic extracts of the dried flower heads using LC-MS/MS; (b) morpho-anatomy and histochemistry of the vegetative and reproductive organs through Light, Fluorescence, and Scanning Electron Microscopy; (c) biological activity of the aqueous extract concerning the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potential through cell-based in vitro models. A total of 31 compounds (5 phenolic acids, 13 flavonols, and 13 flavones) were detected, 28 of which included in both extracts. Covering and secreting trichomes were observed: the biseriate 10-celled glandular trichomes prevailing on the inflorescences represented the main sites of synthesis of the polyphenols and flavonoids detected in the extracts, along with volatile terpenoids. Finally, significant antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities of the aqueous extract were documented, even at very low concentrations; for the first time, the in vitro tests allowed us to formulate hypotheses about the mechanism of action. The gas turbine was one of the most important technological developments of the early 20th century, and it has had a significant impact on our lives. Although some researchers have worked on predicting the performance of three-shaft gas turbines, the effects of the deteriorated components on other primary components and of the physical faults on the component measurement parameters when considering the variable inlet guide valve scheduling and secondary air system for three-shaft gas turbine engines have remained unexplored. In this paper, design point and off-design performance models for a three-shaft gas turbine were developed and validated using the GasTurb 13 commercial software. Since the input data were limited, some engineering judgment and optimization processes were applied. Later, the developed models were validated using the engine manufacturer’s data. Right after the validation, using the component health parameters, the physical faults were implanted into the non-linear steady-state model to investigate the performance of the gas turbine during deterioration conditions. The effects of common faults, namely fouling and erosion in primary components of the case study engine, were simulated during full-load operation. The fault simulation results demonstrated that as the severity of the fault increases, the component performance parameters and measurement parameters deviated linearly from the clean state. Furthermore, the sensitivity of the measurement parameters to the fault location and type were discussed, and as a result they can be used to determine the location and kind of fault during the development of a diagnosis model. 相似文献

Yttrium tricopper dialuminium, YCu3Al2, is isostructural with hexagonal CaCu5, in which each Cu atom at the 3g(½,0,½) position in space group P6/mmm (No. 191) is partially replaced by an Al atom. The hydrogen‐uptake properties are usually enhanced in other AB5 structures by aluminium substitution. YCu5 does not show any hydrogen absorption, and the goal of the present work is to investigate whether aluminium substitution could expand the metal‐atom lattice enough to provide better interstitial positions for hydrogen storage. However, no enthalpy change was observed up to 773 K under 3 MPa static H2 pressure by differential thermal analysis (DTA) for the title compound. The compound does not show any significant hydrogen absorption/desorption in the pressure‐composition isotherms (P–C–T diagrams) in the temperature range 298–673 K under 3.3 MPa H2 pressure. 相似文献

The production of is measured in π+p reactions at 16 GeV/c. The total strange particle cross section is found to be 4.0 ± 0.3 mb, about 20% of the inelastic cross section. Cross sections for single strange particles and for strange particle pairs are determined, both inclusively and as functions of the charged multiplicity. Relative production rates for different strange particle combinations are compared with the prediction of the isospin statistical model. Inclusive spectra for single particles are studied and it is found the KS0 are produced mostly in the forward hemisphere, most probably by fragmentation of the incident pion into . The Λ are mostly backwards, probably deriving from fragmentation of the proton into ΛK pairs. The tend to be produced forwards, but evidence is found for central production. Distributions in rapidity of the Λ particles from π+p interactions are compared in terms of the factorisation hypothesis. Results are given on the Λ transversal polarisation. 相似文献
