We report the first measurement of CP-violation parameters in B0-->rho0gamma decays based on a data sample of 657x10(6)BB pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We obtain the time-dependent and direct CP-violating parameters, Srho0gamma=-0.83+/-0.65(stat)+/-0.18(syst) and Arho0gamma=-0.44+/-0.49(stat)+/-0.14(syst), respectively.  相似文献

We report a measurement of the CP-violating parameters in B;{0}-->K_{S}{0}K_{S}{0} decays based on a data sample of 657x10{6} BB[over ] pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e;{+}e{-} collider. In this Letter, one neutral B meson is fully reconstructed in the B;{0}-->K_{S}{0}K_{S}{0} decay mode, and the flavor of the accompanying B meson is identified by its decay products. The CP-violating parameters are measured from the asymmetry in the distributions of the proper-time interval between the two B decays: S_K_{S}{0}K_{S}{0}}=-0.38_{-0.77}{+0.69}(stat)+/-0.09(syst) and A_{K_{S}{0}K_{S}{0}}=-0.38+/-0.38(stat)+/-0.05(syst).  相似文献

Undesired radiation exposure in normal tissues around a treatment volume in proton and carbon-ion radiotherapies is less than that in the conventional radiotherapies due to physical and/or biological properties of charged particles. Such exposure is always considered in a treatment planning, however, undesired exposure in normal tissues far from the treatment volume cannot be considered in the treatment planning, because it is caused by secondary radiation as well as leakage primary particles. Though this exposure is considerably lower than that near the treatment volume, it may be not negligible to estimate the risk of secondary cancer especially for the young patients. In particular, the assessment of the secondary neutrons that inevitably produced within the patient and beam line devices is very important due to the potency of their biological effect. The distributions of the absorbed dose and the biological effectiveness in phantom/patient are required to assess the risk, and Monte Carlo calculation plays a key role due to a difficulty of the measurements. In this study, comparison of measured and calculated in-air neutrons at the patient position in the Heavy Ion Medical Accelerator in Chiba (HIMAC) treatment room are performed to verify the accuracy of the Monte Carlo code, PHITS. Our calculations underestimated epithermal neutrons measured by Bonner sphere system. This discrepancy may be caused by an insufficiency of the calculational geometry modeling, consequently an underestimation of neutrons scattered and moderated by the beam line devices. However, it is unlikely that the underestimation significantly contribute to the dose estimation in phantom. On the other hand, the calculation reproduced the measured ambient dose equivalents well because they were dominated by neutrons above 0.1 MeV. This result showed that the PHITS code has a potential ability to evaluate the neutron exposure of the patient in passive carbon-ion radiotherapy.  相似文献

The statistics of many-arm star polymers in dilute solution is studied by means of the enrichment algorithm [K. Ohno and K. Binder, J. Stat. Phys. 64 , 781 (1991)] using a Monte Carlo simulation technique. In this study, typically 50,000 samples of star polymers with 12–32 arms each of which has 50 bonds are generated. The results for the configuration-number exponent γ(f) are γ(12) = -3.4 ± 0.3, γ(18) = -8.9 ± 0.2 and γ(32) = -29 ± 2.  相似文献

Highly concentrated electrolytes (HCEs) have a similarity to ionic liquids (ILs) in high ionic nature, and indeed some of HECs are found to behave like an IL. HCEs have attracted considerable attention as prospective candidates for electrolyte materials in future lithium secondary batteries owing to their favorable properties both in the bulk and at the electrochemical interface. In this study, we highlight the effects of the solvent, counter anion, and diluent of HCEs on the Li+ ion coordination structure and transport properties (e. g., ionic conductivity and apparent Li+ ion transference number measured under anion-blocking conditions, ). Our studies on dynamic ion correlations unveiled the difference in the ion conduction mechanisms in HCEs and their intimate relevance to values. Our systematic analysis of the transport properties of HCEs also suggests the need for a compromise to simultaneously achieve high ionic conductivity and high values.  相似文献
