Summary Ternary 1:1:1 complexes of YIII, CoII, NiII, CuII, LaIII, CeIII and UO

with N-(2-acetamido)iminodiacetic acid (H2ADA) as primary ligand and salicylic, anthranilic or phthalic acid as secondary ligand are described. The complexes of CoII and CuII were isolated and characterized by microanalysis, molar conductance measurements, thermal analysis, i.r. and u.v.-vis. spectra. The formation constants of the 111 ternary complexes were determined potentiometrically in 20% (w/w) EtOH-H2O at 24 °C. The stabilities of the 111 Mn+:ADA2–:aromatic acid ternary complexes are higher than those of the corresponding 11 Mn+:aromatic acid binary complexes. 相似文献
Zusammenfassung Die Konzentrationen der Brenztraubensäure und der Eiweißzuckerkomponenten wurden in 150 Seren, deren Struktur im Sinne eines deutlichen Anstiegs der-Globulinfraktionen verändert war, ohne Rücksicht auf die Ätiologie dieser Dysprotoeinämien, ermittelt.Aus den Resultaten ist ersichtlich, daß sich am Stoffwechsel der Kohlenhydratkomponenten der Eiweißzucker auch die Brenztraubensäure beteiligt. Aus einem Vergleich der Mittelwerte der genannten Konzentrationen bzw. deren Indices geht hervor, daß zwischen dem Anstieg der Konzentration der Brenztraubensäure und des Hexosamins einerseits, der der Sialinsäure anderseits eine Beziehung besteht. Dies bekräftigt die Annahme, daß auch die Biosynthese der Sialinsäure über die Brenztraubensäure und das Hexosamin ablaufen könnte.
Summary The concentrations of pyruvic acid and the protein sugar components were determined in 150 sera, whose structure was altered in the sense of a pronounced increase in the-globulin fractions, without consideration of the etiology of these dysproteinemias.It can be seen from the findings that pyruvic acid is also a participant in the metabolism of the carbohydrate components of the protein sugars. From a comparison of the mean values of the cited concentrations or their indices it may be concluded that a relation exists between the rise in the concentration of the pyruvic acid and of the hexosamine on one hand and that of the sialinic acid on the other. This supports the assumption that the biosynthesis of the sialinic acid also can proceed via pyruvic acid and hexosamine.
Résumé On a déterminé les concentrations en acide pyruvique et en glucoprotéides de 150 sérums dont la structure était altérée par une augmentation importante en-globulines, sans prendre en considération l'étiologie de ces dysprotéinémies.Les résultats montrent clairement que l'acide pyruvique participe aussi à l'assimilation des constituants hydrocarbonés des glucoprotéides. La comparaison des valeurs moyennes des concentrations en question met en évidence une relation entre l'augmentation de la concentration en acide pyruvique et en hexosamine d'une part et celle de l'acide sialinique d'autre part. Ceci renforce l'hypothèse que la biosynthèse de l'acide sialinique pourrait aussi découler via l'acide pyruvique et à l'hexosamine.

Summary The reaction between chromone-3-carboxaldehyde-4-phenylthiosemicarbazone (HCPT) and some hydrated metal salts of CoII, NiII and CuII give complexes of the type [Cu(HCPT)Cl2],[Cu(CPT)BrH2O],[Cu(CPT)2]·2H2O, [Ni(CPT)2(H2O)2]·2H2O, [Co(CPT)2(OAc)] and [Co(CPT)2(H2O)2]X·2H2O (where X=Cl or Br). The metal complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductivities, and spectal (i.r. and visible) and magnetic studies. I.r. spectra show that the HCPT coordinates in the thione or thiol form and behaves in a bidentate manner. Also, HCPT behaves as an oxidizing agent towards CoII forming diamagnetic CoIII complexes. An octahedral structure is proposed for both CoIII and NiII complexes, while a square-planar structure is proposed for CuII complexes on the basis of magnetic and spectral measurements. 相似文献
A simple kinetic spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of josamycin in its dosage forms and spiked human plasma. The method is based on reaction of the drug with 3-methylbenzothiazolin-2-one hydrazone/ferric chloride system for a fixed time of 20 min at 70 degrees C and measuring the produced color at 665 nm. The absorbance-concentration plot is rectilinear over the range of 5.0-30.0 microg/mL with detection limit of 1.0 microg/mL (1.2 x 10(-6) M). The determination of josamycin by the fixed concentration and the rate-constant methods is also feasible with the calibration equations obtained, but the fixed-time method proved to be more applicable. The procedure was successfully applied to commercial tablets. The results obtained were favorably compared with those given by reference methods. The method was further extended to the in vitro determination of josamycin in spiked human plasma. The recovery (n = 8) was 100.76 +/- 3.43%. The stoichiometry of the reaction between the drug and the reagent was studied by adopting the limiting logarithmic method, and a proposal of the reaction pathway was presented. 相似文献
In this paper a heterogeneous model is developed for the alcoholic fermentation process. The model is expressed in terms of
intracellular and extracellular concentrations of ethanol and sugar as well as biomass concentration as state variables. The
model takes into consideration the floc size and the mass transfer rates of both ethanol and sugar. The intrinsic kinetics
of the process used in the model was developed from published data which includes the inhibitory effects of ethanol and cells.
The model development is achieved through comparison with one set of experimental results given by Novak et al. (1). The model is then checked against two other sets of experimental results. The developed model is also used to simulate

Bacterial resistance against antibiotic treatment is becoming an increasing problem in medicine. Therefore methods to destroy microorganisms by other means are being investigated, one of which is photodynamic therapy (PDT).
It has already been shown that a variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria can be killed in vitro by PDT using exogenous sensitizers. An alternative method of photosensitizing cells is to stimulate the production of endogenous sensitizers. The purpose of this study was to investigate the bactericidal efficacy of PDT for Haemophilus parainfluenzae with endogenously produced porphyrins, synthesized in the presence of δ-aminolaevulinic acid (δ-ALA). H. parainfluenzae incubated with increasing amounts of δ-ALA showed decreased survival after illumination with 630 nm light. No photodynamic effect on the bacterial viability was found when H. parainfluenzae was grown without added δ-ALA. H. influenzae, grown in the presence of δ-ALA, but not capable of synthesizing porphyrins from δ-ALA, was not affected by PDT. Of the range of incident wavelengths, 617 nm appeared to be the most efficient in killing the bacteria. Spectrophotometry of the bacterial porphyrins demonstrated that the maximum fluorescence occurred at approximately 617 nm, with a much lower peak around 680 nm. We conclude that a substantial killing of H. parainfluenzae by PDT in vitro after endogenous sensitization with δ-ALA can be achieved. 相似文献
For the CCIR 14-rain climatic zones of the globe, we present a simplified hop length versus fade margin analysis with link reliability as a parameter. The analysis uses Laws-Parsons values for the a and b parameters of A(dB/Km)=a Rb (mm/hr), and considers the two cases of (i) limited rain-cell and (ii) entire hop in rain.The result is a family of fade margin vs. hop length curves for various reliability objectives, obtained for each of the 14-rain zones at a frequency of 50 GHz. A simple frequency scaling rule is also devised to enable similar analysis at frequencies in the range 30–70 GHz.It is particularly concluded that an extended hop length of 10–20 Km is possible with reasonable reliability if the reduced cell-size concept is applied. If the entire hop is in rain, a limited hop length of one to five kms can't be exceeded even with modest reliability. It is also demonstrated that high resolution global rain map, together with an accurate cell size definition are mandatory for reliable radio link design at mm-wave lengths. 相似文献
The use of Amberlite XAD-2 resin for the extraction of drugs has been extended to the processing of either direct aliquots of blood and stomach contents or aqueous dialysates of the latter, as well as to that of aqueous Stas-Otto deproteinated extracts of tissue. A two-step elution provides the subsequent recovery of standard acid, neutral, basic compounds, and the more polar, water-soluble drugs and drug metabolites. Inorganics may be recovered from the eluate resulting from passage of the original solution through the resin. Extraction with columns of 1-2 g of Amberlite XAD-2 resin is shown to provide the best general approach for separations in pure form of nearly all toxic compounds from up to 500 g of tissue as well as from biological fluids and stomach contents. 相似文献
