In this article, we have demonstrated the optical and structural properties change in Bi/Ag/Se trilayer thin films by the influence of thermal and photon energy. The trilayer films prepared by thermal evaporation technique were annealed and laser irradiated at room temperature. The X-ray diffraction study revealed the Ag2Se phase formation and the surface morphology change is being studied by Field emission scanning electron microscopy. The optical properties of the studied films were characterized by using FTIR spectrophotometer in the wavelength range 400–1200?nm. The reduction of optical band gap by both thermal and laser irradiation is being discussed on the basis of chemical disorderness, defect states and density of localized states in the mobility gap. The Raman shift due to annealing and irradiation supports the changes in the film. The large change in optical band gap in thermal annealing is useful for memory device and waveguide fabrication.  相似文献

We show that every closed shift-invariant subspace of L 2(K) is generated by the Λ-translates of a countable number of functions, where K is a local field of positive characteristic and Λ is an appropriate translation set. The synthetic procedure of lithocholyl-N-(2-aminoethyl)amide yielded a mixture of several forms detected by solid state 13C CP/MAS NMR although the solution state NMR unambiguously ascertained that the compound was pure. By recrystallization from various solvents one pure polymorph alongside with four solvates were isolated. The structures of the pure polymorph and the solvates were characterized by 13C and 15N CP/MAS NMR and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) methods. Variable contact time and dipolar dephasing experiments were employed to obtain optimized CP parameters and to distinguish various CH n (n = 0–3) resonances. CSA analyses of spinning side bands at different spinning rates showed small variations in the shielding tensor values of the carbonyl group between the pure polymorph (recrystallized from acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran and 1,4-dioxane) and p-xylene solvate.  相似文献

Abstract

The normalized cutoff frequencies of the linearly polarized (LP) modes of a graded-index few mode fiber have been calculated as a function of profile shape parameters using a simple numerical method. The effect of refractive-index dip on these cutoff frequencies and on the order of appearance of these modes has been investigated. The presence of dip causes an increase in the cutoff V values of all the modes, and the maximum shift in the cutoff V value is found to be even 20% for some modes. The order of appearance of some modes also gets drastically affected.  相似文献

In this paper, we present the multilevel adaptive wavelet collocation method for solving non-divergent barotropic vorticity equation over spherical geodesic grid. This method is based on multi-dimensional second generation wavelet over a spherical geodesic grid. The method is more useful in capturing, identifying, and analyzing local structure [1] than any other traditional methods (i.e. finite difference, spectral method), because those methods are either full or partial miss important phenomena such as trends, breakdown points, discontinuities in higher derivatives of the solution. Wavelet decomposition is used for interpolation and adaptive grid refinement on different levels.  相似文献

We report new STAR measurements of midrapidity yields for the Λ, Λ[over ˉ], K(S)(0), Ξ(-), Ξ[over ˉ](+), Ω(-), Ω[over ˉ](+) particles in Cu+Cu collisions at √S(NN)==200 GeV, and midrapidity yields for the Λ, Λ[over ˉ], K(S)(0) particles in Au+Au at √S(NN)==200 GeV. We show that, at a given number of participating nucleons, the production of strange hadrons is higher in Cu+Cu collisions than in Au+Au collisions at the same center-of-mass energy. We find that aspects of the enhancement factors for all particles can be described by a parametrization based on the fraction of participants that undergo multiple collisions.  相似文献

We present the first measurement of decay amplitudes in B-->phiK* and measurements of branching fractions in B-->phiK(*) decays based on 78.1 fb(-1) of data recorded at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- storage ring. The decay amplitudes for the different phiK*0 helicity states are measured from the angular distributions of final state particles in the transversity basis. The longitudinal and transverse complex amplitudes are |A0|2=0.43+/-0.09+/-0.04, |A(perpendicular)|2=0.41+/-0.10+/-0.04, arg((A(parallel))=-2.57+/-0.39+/-0.09, and arg((A(perpendicular))=0.48+/-0.32+/-0.06. The direct CP-violating asymmetries are found to be consistent with zero.  相似文献

A detailed study of the novel melt transetherification polycondensation process, which was recently developed in our laboratory, is presented. The efficacy of different catalysts, such as p‐toluenesulfonic acid (PTSA), camphorsulfonic acid, and their pyridinium salts, was examined. The pyridinium salts, especially pyridinium camphorsulfonate (PCS), outperformed PTSA both in terms of the polymer molecular weights (the polydispersity) and the extent of discoloration of the polymer. The evolution of the molecular weight with the polymerization time was monitored with two different catalysts, PTSA and PCS, and these studies demonstrated that, while PTSA yielded polymers with a broad molecular weight distribution, the use of PCS curtailed possible side reactions that led to this broadening. Model reactions suggested that one possible reason for this broadening could be the formation of macrocyclics facilitated by an ether–ether exchange reaction, which was shown to occur much more rapidly when PTSA was used. A further interesting and rather unprecedented feature, which became apparent while the effect of the acid–catalyst concentration was being examined, was the dual role played by the acid, which acted both beneficially as a catalyst and detrimentally, defunctionalizing the chain end and terminating polymer growth. This conclusion was based on the observed decrease in the molecular weight of the polymer at very high catalyst concentrations, which suggested that there existed an optimum catalyst concentration at which a balance was struck between the molecular weight of the polymer formed and the polymerization time. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
