The formation constants, log K(mab), for the reactions MA + B right harpoon over left harpoon MAB [where M = Cu(II), Ni, Zn or Cd, A = terdentate ligand and B = bidentate or terdentate ligand] have been determined. Potentiometric evidence is presented for the stepwise addition of the secondary ligand B to the 1:1 metal iminodiacetate (MA). The formation constants and the free energies of formation (DeltaG) have been calculated at 25 +/- 1 degrees and mu = 0.10. The order in terms of secondary ligands has been found to be ASPA > Gly > Aln and Gly > Aln > ASPA with iminodiacetic and nitrilotriacetic acid as primary ligands respectively (ASPA = aspartic acid, Gly = glycine, Aln = dl-alanine). The plot of log K(mab) against log k(mb)(2) shows a linear relationship between the formation constants of the ternary and 1:2 M(II)secondary ligand complexes.  相似文献

Kinetics of oxidation of lactose, maltose, cellobiose and melibiose has been studied by hexacyanoferrate(III) in the presence of ammonia. A general mechanism involving the formation of intermediate enodiol anion has been suggested. The effects of dielectric constant and salts have been studied in detail. The oxidation products have been characterised by descending paper chromatography. Compensation effects have been observed.  相似文献

Stepwise mixed ligand complex formation has been cited for the formation of 111,Ln(III)—NTA—catechol ternary complexes potentiometrically [whereLn(III)=La(III), Pr(III) or Nd(III)]. The results of titration curves indicate the formation of 11,Ln(III)—NTA complexes in beginning and the addition of catechol, takes place later on in the higher buffer region. Micellar electrokinetic chromatography is used to separate dansylated nucleotides, both normal and modified species. The high separation power allows detection of minor components present in less than 1 part per thousand of the major components. Laser-excited fluorescence is used to detect the separated components at the 6 x 10(-18) mol level or 10(-9) M injected material. Combined with high-performance liquid chromatographic enrichment prior to labeling, this technique can be used to assess DNA damage in carcinogenesis studies.  相似文献

Dimethyl and diethyl fluoromalonates were prepared from hexafluoropropene by its exhaustive alcoholysis or alternatively its ammonolysis and alcoholysis. The structures of alloys can be described in terms of polyhedrapacking. We studiedall structure types found in the binary systemsT 5 orT 6 withB 3 orB 4 (T 5: V, Nb, Ta;T 6: Cr, Mo, W;B 3: Al, Ga, In, Tl;B 4: Si, Ge, Sn, Pb) elements. Most of the structures examined until now could be built up with one or two polyhedra, only in a few cases more than two polyhedra are required. It is found that there are two types: a three-dimensional distribution of discrete polyhedra sharing corners, edges or faces and a layer-like distribution. This model proved valid for all structure types studied. Classification of the structures according to their polyhedrapacking criteria is introduced (Table 1). Table 2 includes the coordination numbers of all atoms in the studied structures.  相似文献

Summary A series of 8-proparglyoxy-3,7-dimethyl-2,6-octadienyl and 8-propargyloxy-3,7-dimethyl-6-octenyl ethers were prepared from 8-hydroxygeranyl and 8-hydroxycitronellyl ethers, respectively. Almost all compounds showed high toxicity toCulex quinquefaciatus larvae at 1 mgl–1 dose level.

Direct and indirect evidence, of unexpected stereoselective reductase-catalysed deoxygenations of sulfoxides, was found. The deoxygenations proceeded simultaneously, with the expected dioxygenase-catalysed asymmetric sulfoxidation of sulfides, during some biotransformations with the aerobic bacterium Pseudomonas putida UV4. Stereoselective reductase-catalysed asymmetric deoxygenation of racemic alkylaryl, dialkyl and phenolic sulfoxides was observed, without evidence of the reverse sulfoxidation reaction, using anaerobic bacterial strains. A purified dimethyl sulfoxide reductase, obtained from the intact cells of the anaerobic bacterium Citrobacter braakii DMSO 11, yielded, from the corresponding racemates, enantiopure alkylaryl sulfoxide and thiosulfinate samples.  相似文献
