Polyvinyl alcohol films were irradiated to 90 MeV O 6+ and 150 MeV Si 14+ ions at fluence ranging from 1010 to 1012 ions/cm2. The observed changes in optical energy gap of this polymer have been investigated and results are tried to be explained in terms of energy transferred by the incident ions. It has been noticed that the value of optical energy gap decreases with increasing energy loss during the ion–polymer interaction process.  相似文献

The aim of this work was to analyse the electrostatic potential profile, various effects of electrolyte concentrations, and the influences of surface charge on a protein bound to a lipid coated Silicon nanowire field effect transistor (Si-NW FET) biosensor by implementing the modified PoissonBoltzmann (MPB) model. In this work, we modelled a lipid monolayer-coated Si-NW FET for the sensing of proteins, which consisted of variable amounts of aspartic acid. The electrostatic potential profile, protein charge distributions, the response to various electrolyte concentration, and the impacts of various surface charge were studied by implementing the MPB model with the Si-NW FET biosensor. Additionally, a comparison between the use of the MPB and the PoissonBoltzmann model in studying the effects of various surface charges was carried out. Taken together, it was found that the MPB model showed a higher resolution in studying the Si-NW FET biosensor model when higher concentrations and surface charges were administered.  相似文献

A class of topological excitations-the odd-winding number vortices-in a spinless 2D chiral p-wave (px+ipy) superconductor traps Majorana fermion states in the vortex cores. For a dilute gas of such vortices, the lowest energy fermionic eigenstates are intrinsically nonlocal. We predict two testable signatures of this unusual quantum nonlocality in quasiparticle tunneling experiments. We have studied the hyperfine interactions in samples belonging to the Fe-Se system. Several samples with various concentrations of selenium were synthesized and investigated. The objective was to find synthesis conditions increasing the concentration of a secondary Fe-Se phase with a rather large quadrupole splitting of ~1.7 mm/s. At T m ≈ 104 K this secondary phase undergoes a magnetic ordering.  相似文献
