The power spectral density function (PSDF) of the log-amplitude scintillation for an infrared laser beam was measured experimentally. To investigate the contribution of the absorption and the dispersion that cause the scintillation, we chose 16 wavelengths of infrared light and one wavelength of visible light. It is found that the spectral density of scintillation for the infrared beam does not agree with that for the visible beam, as predicted by Tatarskii's theory in the low-frequency region below 1 Hz. This disagreement between the experiment and the theory in the low-frequency region should be attributed to water vapour absorption.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to discuss how we can construct the heat kernel for (sub)-Laplacian in an explicit (integral) form in terms of a certain class of special functions. Of course, such cases will be highly limited. Here we only treat a typical operator, called Grushin operator. So, first we explain two methods to construct the heat kernel of a “step 2” Grushin operator. One is the eigenfunction expansion which leads to an integral form for the heat kernel, then we treat the formula by a method called, complex Hamilton–Jacobi method invented by Beals–Gaveau–Greiner. One of the main result in this paper is to construct an action function for a higher order oscillator. Until now, no explicit expression of the heat kernel for higher order cases have been given in an explicit form and we show a phenomenon that our action function will play a role toward the construction of the heat kernel of higher step Grushin operators.  相似文献

We present a discrete correlation processor-2 (DCP-2), which is an optical processor with reconfigurability of interconnection patterns for large-fan-out optical interconnection systems. To our knowledge, there is no reconfigurable optical processor satisfying the requirements for large fan-outs such as high-speed reconfiguration of interconnection pattern, high optical efficiency, and high contrast ratio, because existing spatial light modulators (SLM#x0027;s) lack at least one of these features. The DCP-2 architecture fulfills the requirements by using a hybrid configuration composed of a high-speed image steerer and a spatial light modulator, which work in a complementary manner to shorten the setup time of the SLM. We constructed two kinds of prototype demonstrators based on this architecture. In the experiment, reconfiguration speed of the DCP-2 prototype with shift-invariant optical interconnections, in which a liquid crystal SLM cooperated with a two-dimensional acousto-optic beam deflector, was about 26,000 times faster than that of the standalone SLM at the cost of 50#x0025; energy loss by the deflector.  相似文献

It was found that a commercial silicon photodiode modified only by removing its window can be used as a low-background detector of -rays from45Ca solutions. We built a test system which could count -rays from 0.21% hot CaCl2 solutions in the concentration range of 10–5–10–8M with linear sensitivity. Such a system using a small photodiode for real-time detection of -rays from small amounts of assay solutions could have many applications in the field of biophysics, biochemistry and physiology, e.g., in the study of Ca-binding proteins. This photodiode was also found to be suitable for measurement of low-energy -rays from14C.  相似文献

Polymerization of butadiene by electron-beam irradiation was studied in n-hexane solution. Kinetic features of the polymerization and microstructure of the product were similar to those in bulk polymerization, which indicated a cationic mechanism. Both the rate of polymerization and average molecular weight of the product decreased by about 20% in the solution system. Soluble polymer was obtained up to ca. 40% conversion at the monomer concentration of 50 mol%, whereas in the bulk system the gel formed in polymer conversion exceeded 10%. A kinetic equation was proposed to explain the change in rate of polymerization with the monomer concentration.  相似文献

Abstract

Photoluminescence of TCNQ-amino adducts was studied to evaluate solid state samples of photoluminescence quantum yields. High PL quantum yields suggests that TCNQ-amino adducts should be an excellent organic light emitter. Electroluminescence of TCNQ-amino adducts was demonstrated for the first time.  相似文献
