The notion of homogeneous barycentric coordinates provides a powerful tool for analysing problems in plane geometry. The paper explains the advantages over the traditional use of trilinear coordinates, and illustrates its power in leading to discoveries of new and interesting collinearity relations of points associated with a triangle.  相似文献

The rate constant for the reaction of hydroxyl radicals (OH) with molecular hydrogen (H2) was measured behind reflected shock waves using UV laser absorption of OH radicals near 306.69 nm. Test gas mixtures of H2 and tert‐butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) diluted in argon were shock‐heated to temperatures ranging from 902 to 1518 K at pressures of 1.15–1.52 atm. OH radicals were produced by rapid thermal decomposition of TBHP at high temperatures. The rate constant for the title reaction was inferred by best fitting the measured OH time histories with the simulated profiles from the comprehensive reaction mechanism of Wang et al. (USC‐Mech v2.0) (2007). The measured values can be expressed in the Arrhenius equation as k1(T) = 4.38 × 1013 exp(–3518/T) cm3 mol?1 s?1 over the temperature range studied. A detailed error analysis was performed to estimate the overall uncertainty of the title reaction, and the estimated (2 – σ) uncertainties were found to be ±17% at 972 and 1228 K. The present measurements are in excellent agreement with the previous experimental studies from Frank and Just (Ber Bunsen‐Ges Phys Chem 1985, 89, 181–187), Michael and Sutherland (J Phys Chem 1988, 92, 3853–3857), Davidson et al. (Symp (Int) Combust 1988, 22, 1877–1885), Oldenborg et al. (J Phys Chem 1992, 96, 8426–8430), and Krasnoperov and Michael (J Phys Chem A 2004, 108, 5643–5648).In addition, the measured rate constant is in close accord with the non‐Arrhenius expression from GRI‐Mech 3.0 ( http://www.me.berkeley.edu/gri_mech/ ) and the theoretical calculation using semiclassical transition state theory from Nguyen et al. Metallafuran complexes with a fused five-membered phosphonium ring were synthesized from reactions between terminal ynones HC≡C(C=O)R and cis-[Ru/Os(dppm)2Cl2] (dppm=1,1-bis(diphenylphosphino)methane). A metal–vinylidene-involving pathway was found to be an energetically feasible formation mechanism for these complexes. These phosphonium-containing metallafurans, like many phosphonium-functionalized drugs, have the ability to induce mitochondrial dysfunction. They also exhibit stronger cytotoxicity against several human cancer cell lines in comparison with their metal precursors and the classic anticancer drug cisplatin. Overall, this work provides structural and mechanistic insights for the rational design of functional metallacycles via activation of alkynes by RuII and OsII centers.  相似文献

Upon fusing the pyrazinyl pyrazole entity in giving pyrazolo[3,4-f]quinoxaline chelate, the corresponding Os(II) based NIR emitter exhibited “invisible” and efficient electroluminescence with a peak maximum at 811 nm. A maximum external quantum efficiency of 0.97 % and a suppressed efficiency roll-off till a current density of 300 mA cm−2 was also exhibited.  相似文献

A new series of neutral isocyanoborato rhenium(I) diimine complexes [Re(CO)3(N^N)(CNBR3)], where N^N=bpy, 4,4′‐Me2bpy, phen, 4,7‐Me2phen, 2,9‐Me2phen, 3,4,7,8‐Me4phen; R=C6F5, C6H5, Cl, 4‐ClC6H4, 3,5‐(CF3)2C6H3, with various isocyanoborate and diimine ligands of diverse electronic and steric nature have been synthesized and characterized. The X‐ray crystal structures of six complexes have also been determined. These complexes displayed intense bluish green to yellow phosphorescence at room temperature in dichloromethane solution. The photophysical and electrochemical properties of these complexes had been investigated. To elucidate the electronic structures and transitions of these complexes, DFT and TD‐DFT calculations have been performed, which revealed that the lowest‐energy electronic transition associated with these complexes originates from a mixture of MLCT [dπ(Re)→π*(N^N)] and LLCT [π(CNBR3)→π*(N^N)] transitions.  相似文献

A new class of readily tunable isocyano rhenium(I) diimine luminophores, cis,cis-[Re(CO)(2)(CNR)(2)(N-N)](+) (R=2,4,6-Cl(3)C(6)H(2), 4-ClC(6)H(4), 4-Br-2,6-(CH(3))(2)C(6)H(2), 2,6-(CH(3))(2)C(6)H(3), 4-[(CH(3))(2)N]C(6)H(4), 4-(C(6)H(5))C(6)H(4), 4-nBuC(6)H(4), tBu), has been synthesized in high yield by a highly selective photochemical substitution reaction. These complexes were characterized by (1)H NMR and IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. The X-ray crystal structures of one of the complexes and one of the precursor complexes for the photosubstitution reaction were also determined. As the isocyanide ligands are readily tunable, complexes with excellent solubility in benzene or other nonpolar solvents could be designed through slight modification of the isocyanide ligands with a short nBu substituent. With the characteristic strong infrared absorptions of the carbonyl (C≡O) and isocyanide (C≡N) stretches as well as the high solubility of the reactant and product in benzene, which is the solvent for the photoreaction, the photosubstitution reaction of [Re(CO)(3)(nBuC(6)H(4)NC)(2)Br] with 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine was also studied by in situ IR spectroscopy. The photophysical and electrochemical properties of these complexes were also investigated. Except for the complex with [(CH(3))(2)N]C(6)H(4)NC ligands, all complexes displayed intense luminescence with quantum yields of up to 0.37 in degassed CH(2)Cl(2) solution at room temperature. These emissions were assigned as the phosphorescence derived from the metal-to-ligand charge transfer [dπ(Re)→π*(N-N)] excited state. The emissive excited states of these complexes have also been characterized by transient absorption spectroscopic studies. The capability of tuning the emissive excited-state energy through the modification of the isocyanide ligands could be reflected by the significant shifting of the phosphorescence from 530 to 620 nm with the same phenanthroline ligand.  相似文献

A method was developed for high-throughput determinations of 7 elements in food samples, namely antimony (Sb), arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), and tin (Sn). The samples were digested by closed-vessel microwave-assisted digestion using concentrated nitric acid (HNO3) as the medium, followed by microwave- assisted evaporation to concentrate the sample solutions before dilution to the desired volume. The microwave-assisted evaporation procedure effectively reduced the final acid concentration to around 8% before analysis by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). This reduction allows determination by ICP-MS to proceed without further sample dilution, which would affect the detection limit. The method was validated, and method recoveries for As, Cd, Cr, Pb, and Hg were within the certified ranges of the chosen certified reference materials. Recoveries of the 7 elements from spiked samples ranged from 93.1 to 103.6%. The standard uncertainties of precision for the 7 elements were between 3.1 and 4.3%. Interlaboratory comparison studies for As, Cd, and Pb gave z-scores ranging from -0.2 to 0.3.  相似文献

Treatment of the osmabenzyne Os([triple bond]CC(SiMe(3))=C(Me)C(SiMe(3))=CH)Cl(2)(PPh(3))(2) (1) with 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy) and thallium triflate (TlOTf) produces the thermally stable dicationic osmabenzyne [Os([triple bond]CC(SiMe(3))=C(Me)C(SiMe(3))=CH)(bipy)(PPh(3))(2)](OTf)(2) (2). The dicationic osmabenzyne 2 reacts with ROH (R = H, Me) to give osmabenzene complexes [Os(=C(OR)CH=C(Me)C(SiMe(3))=CH)(bipy)(PPh(3))(2)]OTf, in which the metallabenzene ring deviates significantly from planarity. In contrast, reaction of the dicationic complex 2 with NaBH(4) produces a cyclopentadienyl complex, presumably through the osmabenzene intermediate [Os(=CHC(SiMe(3))=C(Me)C(SiMe(3))=CH)(bipy)(PPh(3))(2)]OTf. The higher thermal stability of [Os(=C(OR)CH=C(Me)C(SiMe(3))=CH)(bipy)(PPh(3))(2)]OTf relative to [Os(=CHC(SiMe(3))=C(Me)C(SiMe(3))=CH)(bipy)(PPh(3))(2)]OTf can be related to the stabilization effect of the OR groups on the metallacycle. A theoretical study shows that conversion of the dicationic osmabenzyne complex [Os([triple bond]CC(SiMe(3))=C(Me)C(SiMe(3))=CH)(bipy)(PPh(3))(2)](OTf)(2) to a carbene complex by reductive elimination is thermodynamically unfavorable. The theoretical study also suggests that the nonplanarity of the osmabenzenes [Os(=C(OR)CH=C(Me)C(SiMe(3))=CH)(bipy)(PPh(3))(2)]OTf is mainly due to electronic reasons.  相似文献
