Sound transmission through a double-walled cylindrical shell is studied. The solution that describes the system response is obtained by combining the solutions of two different models of the system. The first model, which describes the sound transmission due to the interaction between the acoustic waves and the bending waves in the shells, is formulated by three acoustic wave equations and two shell vibration equations. The second model describes the sound transmission by one-dimensional waves propagating through the layers of the shells and the air-gap. The transmission losses calculated from the two models are combined to represent the system response in the entire frequency range. Analytical solutions are compared to corresponding measured results, which shows reasonable agreements if the extent of the simplifications used in the analytical model is considered. The effects of important design parameters such as the air-gap size and the thickness ratio are studied using analytical solutions.  相似文献

Impedance and admittance matrices are presented for the analysis of the beam-type piezoelectric multimorph (PM). Each piezoelectric layer is polarized in the thickness direction. The stacking sequence can be arbitrary, and both the extensional and flexural motions are considered. The variational principle is used for deriving the lumped conjugate parameters: two mechanical ports for the extensional motion, four mechanical ports for the flexural motion, and m electrical ports for the m piezoelectric layers. The resonance and antiresonance frequencies are then easily calculated from the admittance matrices. For the case of all the piezoelectric layers either in series or parallel connection, them +6 ports reduce to the seven ports, and its impedance and admittance matrices are presented. The present methods are applied to the cantilevered PM and their electromechanical behavior is studied. The tip trajectory of the cantilevered piezomotor is also investigated using the presented matrices. It is found that the present methods are very effective in analyzing the multilayer piezoelectric transducers.  相似文献

The uniform large micropores of hydrothermally stable Y zeolites are used widely to confine both polar and non-polar molecules. This paper compares the physisorption of water, methanol, cyclohexane, benzene and other adsorbates over various Y zeolites. These adsorbents are commercial products with reproducibly controllable physical and chemical characteristics. Results indicate that the type I isotherms typical for micropore adsorption can turn into type II or type III isotherms depending on either or both the hydrophobicity of the adsorbent and the polarity of the adsorbate. Methanol produced a rare type V isotherm not reported over zeolites before. Canonical and grand canonical Monte Carlo molecular simulations with Metropolis importance sampling reproduced the experimental isotherms and showed characteristic geometric patterns for molecules confined in Na-X, Na-Y, dealuminated Y, and ZSM5 structures. Adsorbate—adsorbate interactions seem to determine the micropore condensation of both polar and non-polar molecules. Exchanged ions and lattice defects play a secondary role in shaping the adsorption isotherms. The force field of hydrophobic Y appears to exert an as yet unexplored sieving effect on adsorbates having different dipole moments and partial charge distributions. This mechanism is apparently different from both the monolayer formation controlled adsorption on hydrophobic mesopores and macropores and the polarizability and small-pore opening controlled micropore confinement in hydrophobic ZSM5.  相似文献

Ultrasonic guided wave becomes one of promising tool for monitoring various types of structures such as large steel plates, vessels, and pipes in oil, chemical or nuclear industry, because guided waves have ability to travel wide range of the target structure in a single position. However, analysis of guided wave signals acquired from structure is difficult on account of low S/N ratio and its dispersive nature. To improve S/N ratio and overcome dispersion effect, focusing techniques for guided waves are needed. Thus, in this study, focusing techniques for guided waves were developed in order to improve long range inspection ability, and performance of the developed techniques was verified by experiments.  相似文献

The nonlinear stochastic evolution equations have a wide range of applications in physics, chemistry, biology, economics and finance from various points of view. In this paper, the $\left({G^{\prime}}/{G}\right)$ -expansion method is implemented for obtaining new travelling wave solutions of the nonlinear (2?+?1)-dimensional stochastic Broer–Kaup equation and stochastic coupled Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equation. The study highlights the significant features of the method employed and its capability of handling nonlinear stochastic problems.  相似文献

A new acoustic transformer was developed by connecting three horns to improve radiation performance in the frequency region below 500 Hz. The proposed acoustic transformer was evaluated by numerical analysis using the commercial computer program SYSNOISE and by experiment. The acoustic transformer is composed of three horns, one of which was used in an inverted form. A design model was developed by use of Webster's horn equation and showed that the transformer can improve radiation efficiency. This was confirmed by numerical calculation using SYSNOISE. An acoustic projector was designed by use of the developed transformer and a piezoelectric unimorph-type actuator. The sound pressure measured at the mouth of the constructed acoustic projector was compared with the sound pressures evaluated at the same location by numerical calculation to investigate the differences between the numerical simulation model and the actual acoustic projector. Sound pressures generated by several acoustic radiators were calculated numerically and compared with the measured and calculated sound pressures of the developed acoustic projector to evaluate the effects of use of the proposed acoustic transformer. The comparative evaluation shows that the proposed acoustic transformer can provide up to a 10 dB gain over use of a horn in the narrow band low-frequency region from 100 to 200 Hz.  相似文献

Low-frequency (2.72-3.70 Hz) relaxation oscillations at 100 mTorr at higher absorbed power were observed from time-varying optical emission of the main discharge chamber and the periphery. We interpret the low frequency oscillations using an electromagnetic model of the slot impedance with parallel connection variational peripheral capacitance, coupled to a circuit analysis of the system including the matching network. The model results are in general agreement with the experimental observations, and indicate a variety of behaviours dependent on the matching conditions.  相似文献

Nonlinear stochastic partial differential equations have a wide range of applications in science and engineering. Finding exact solutions of the Wick-type stochastic equation will be helpful in the theories and numerical studies of such equations. In this paper, Kudrayshov method together with Hermite transform is implemented to obtain exact solutions of Wick-type stochastic Korteweg–de Vries equation. Further, graphical illustrations in two- and three-dimensional plots of the obtained solutions depending on time and space are also given with white noise functionals.  相似文献

We report the fabrication of high breakdown voltage metal-insulator-metal (MIM) capacitors with 200-nm silicon nitride deposited by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition with 0.957 SiH4/NH3 gas mixing rate, 0.9 Torr working pressure, and 60 W rf power at 250℃ chamber temperature. Some optimized mechanisms such as metal source wiping, pre-melting and evaporation rate adjustment are used for increasing the yield of the MIM capacitors. N2 annealing and O2/H2 plasma pre-deposition treatment is proposed to increase the reliability of the MIM capacitors in high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-humidity environments. A 97% yield and up to 148 V breakdown voltage of a 13.06pF MIM capacitor with 0.04 mm^2 die area can be fabricated.  相似文献
