In this paper, we present the study of dispersion and transmittance characteristics of one dimensional magnetic photonic crystal composed by single negative indexed materials. For this structure, we have considered magnetic negative (MNG) with ? = 1 and μ < 0 and electric negative (ENG) with ? < 0 and μ = 4. We used simple transfer matrix method and Bloch's theorem for its analytical explanations. Analyzing transmittance characteristics of the proposed structure, we obtain the tunneling of certain frequency range where as the dispersion characteristic shows total forbidden for the same range for TM mode. The tunable property is found inside the band structure due to zero-?, zero-μ and magnetic behavior of the material. To identify zero-? and zero-μ of the structure, we have calculated the dispersion and the transmittance of the magnetic structure of MNG–ENG on different angles of incidence and thickness of layers.  相似文献

Abstract

The i. r. spectra of benzotriazole have been measured from 4000 to 60 cm?1: polarized spectra of single crystals have been also obtained. The Raman spectra of polycrystalline samples and solutions have been investigated. The structural parameters and vibrational frequencies have been determined from ab-initio Hartree-Fock gradient calculations using the 6–31G* basis set. A detailed arsignment of most of the observed bands has been proposed on the basis of the i. r. dichroism, Raman polarization data and frequency calculations.

Here we proposed a novel architecture of wavelength division multiplexed-passive optical network (WDM-PON) in which the downlink unicast data, broadcast data and uplink unicast data transmission is possible with the symmetric data rate of 10 Gbps. At remote node (RN) cyclic wavelength routing property of array waveguide grating (AWG) and power splitting capacity of power splitter is used in the architecture so that broadcast channel can be overlaid on downlink unicast channels. At ONU carriers sent from central office (CO) is reused for upstream data transmission with the help of integration of a reflective semiconductor amplifier (RSOA) and an electro-absorption modulator (EAM) so there is no need of extra laser sources at ONUs which makes them colorless. EAM can be operated at very high speed; a modulation bandwidth of tens of GHz can be achieved. Broadcast channel causes a limited interference with downlink and uplink unicast channels so it does not affect the system performance. Since each channel has different wavelength so NRZ data is used which eliminates expensive DPSK receivers and detection becomes very easy. Simulation is performed with all channels having data rate of 10 Gbps having acceptable performance.  相似文献

Dispersal of nanofillers in polymer electrolytes have shown to improve the ionic properties of Polyethylene oxide (PEO)-based polymer electrolytes in recent times. The effects of different nanoferrite fillers (i.e., Al–Zn ferrite, Mg–Zn ferrite, and Zn ferrite) on the electrical transport properties have been studied here on the composite polymer electrolyte system. The interaction of salt/filler with electrolyte has been investigated by XRD studies. SEM image and infrared spectral studies give an indication of nanocomposite formation. In conductivity studies, all electrolyte systems are seen to follow universal power law. Composition dependence (with ferrite filler) gives the maximum conductivity in [93PEO–7NH4SCN]: X ferrite (where X?=?2% in Al–Zn ferrite, 1% Mg–Zn ferrite, and 1% Zn ferrite) system.  相似文献

Abstract

The effects of neutron, gamma and alpha radiations on the alpha and fission fragment tracks registration and revelation properties of CR-39 detectors (CR-39 and CR-39(DOP) were studied. It was found that the ratio of the bulk etch rate of irradiated to unirradiated (VG(irr.)/VG(unirr.) detectors is linearly dependent on dose. An exponential decrease in fission track densities with increase in neutron fluence was observed. The ratio of VG(irr.)/VG(unirr.) was found to be high in CR-39 than that in CR-39(DOP) exposed to the same reactor neutron fluence. The decrease in fission track densities with increase in neutron fluence was observed to be faster in CR-39 than in CR-39(DOP). This indicates that doping with dioctyl phthalate improves the radiation resistance of CR-39 detectors. It was observed that in detectors exposed to an alpha flux of the order of 9.36 × 106 / cm2, the fission track density was reduced by 11% and thereafter it remained constant. The results also indicate that thermal neutron fluence up to 7.01 ×1011 neutrons/cm2 does not affect the alpha and fission track densities. I.R. spectra were also studied to find out the nature of chemical changes produced by these radiations on CR-39.  相似文献

Six heteroleptic dipyrrinato complexes [Ni(fcdpm)(dedtc)] (1), [Ni(fcdpm)(dipdtc)] (2), [Ni(fcdpm)(dbdtc)] (3), [Pd(fcdpm)(dedtc)] (4), [Pd(fcdpm)(dipdtc)] (5), and [Pd(fcdpm)(dbdtc)] (6) (fcdpm = 5-ferrocenyldipyrromethene; dedtc = diethyldithiocarbamate; dipdtc = diisopropyldithiocarbamate; dbdtc = dibutyldithiocarbamate) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses and spectral (ESI-MS, IR, (1)H, (13)C NMR, UV-vis) and electrochemical studies. Crystal structures of 1, 2, 4, and 5 have been authenticated by X-ray single-crystal analyses. Nickel-based complexes 1-3 display selective chromogenic and redox sensing for Hg(2+) and Pb(2+) ions, while palladium complexes 4-6 display selective chromogenic and redox sensing only for Hg(2+). Electronic absorption, ESI-MS, and electrochemical studies indicated that sensing arises from interaction between 1-3 and Hg(2+)/Pb(2+) through sulfur of the coordinated dithiocarbamates, while it arises from the pyrrolic nitrogen of fcdpm and dithiocarbamate sulfur from 4-6 and Hg(2+). Different modes of binding between Ni and Pd complexes have further been supported by theoretical studies. The receptor-cation binding constants (K(a)) and stoichiometry between probes and Hg(2+)/Pb(2+) have been estimated by the Benesi-Hildebrand method and Job's plot analysis. Detection limits for 1-3 toward Hg(2+)/Pb(2+) and 4-6 for Hg(2+) have been found to be reasonably high.  相似文献
