Three dimensions (3D) porous NiFe(2)O(4) is synthesized by a sol-gel method using egg white. The obtained NiFe(2)O(4) shows both good ferromagnetic properties and high adsorption capacity. The porous NiFe(2)O(4) shows good adsorption properties for organic dyes (Methylene Blue (138.50 mg/g), Fuchsine Red (14.61 mg/g), Methyl Violet (19.06 mg/g)) and heavy metal ions (Cu (II) (55.83 mg/g), Cr (VI) (36.95 mg/g) and Ni (II) (37.02 mg/g)) due to its 3D interconnected porous structure. The maximum adsorption of Methylene Blue (MB) fit the pseudo-second-order model and Langmuir isotherm equation well. More interestingly, the ferromagnetic NiFe(2)O(4) can be separated under a magnetic field conveniently and keeps high removal efficiency (>97%) during seven reusable cycles. These results suggest that the porous NiFe(2)O(4) is a promising favorable and reusable adsorbent. 相似文献

Platelets play a fundamental role in thrombus formation and in the pathogenesis of arterial thrombosis. Patterning surfaces for controlled platelet adhesion paves the way for adhesion and activation mechanisms in platelets and detection of platelet functional defects. Here, a new and simple method based on controlled polymerization of 2‐methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) on the surface of styrene‐block‐(ethylene‐co‐butylene)‐block‐styrene (SEBS) is shown. The competition between polymerization and degradation enables platelet adhesion on SEBS to be switched on and off. The adhesive sites of the platelets can be down to single cell level, and the dysfunctional platelets can be quantitatively detected.

The cage‐like complex, Ag4L4(NO3)4 ( 1 ) [L = 1, 4‐bis(pyridine‐2‐ylmethoxy)benzene] was synthesized by the reaction of the flexible bidentate ligand and silver nitrate. It was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, TG, and single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. Nanoscaled coordination polymers based on biologically prevalent ions have potential applications in drug delivery and biomedical imaging. Herein, coordination polymer nanoparticles of anionic porphyrins, including meso‐tetra(4‐carboxyphenyl)‐porphyrin (H2TCPP4?) and meso‐tetra(4‐sulfonatophenyl)‐porphyrin (H2TPPS4?), and alkaline or alkaline earth metal cations, such as K+ and Ca2+, were constructed in aqueous solution in the presence of cucurbit[7]uril (CB7) or cucurbit[8]uril (CB8). UV/Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering (DLS), scanning electron spectroscopy (SEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM) were applied to explore the assembly and particle formation of porphyrin anions and metal cations mediated by CBn. The particle size depends on the kinds of CBn and metal cations and their concentrations. Vapor-liquid equilibria have been investigated experimentally for the nitrogen-isobutane system at temperatures from 120 K
to 220 K and at pressures up to 150 bar. Below 126.5 K, two liquid phases were observed as pressure was increased to near

Hexagonal ZnO group whiskers synthesized from Zn(NH3)42+ precursor at 145°C in a structure-directing template solvent (2.5% v/v alcohol) show strong photoluminescence at 409 and 420 nm.
