The rate constants and the radical yields for the hydrogen-atom transfer reaction from four monohalogenated phenols to triplet 7,8-benzoquinoline were determined by an emission—absorption flash technique. The rate constants are of the order of 109 M−1 s−1 except for 2-bromophenol, and the radical yield Φrt decreases on halogen substitution. In the case of monobromophenols, Φrt is sensitive to the position of the bromine atom. The rate constant of free radical recombination increases with decreasing Φrt. Such heavy-atom effects are explained in terms of the heavy-atom-induced spin relaxation of the triplet radical pair. 相似文献

There are 3 facilities with 5MeV electron beam processing machines in Japan and another one is planned to start operation in 1998. 2 of them are installed by Nissin-High Voltage and the other are by Sumitomo Heavy/Radiation Dynamics. In this report are introduced 2 facilities which we have installed and are operating satisfactorily. The first one was: installed at Radia Industry for irradiation services and the second one for in-house use in a factory of a pharmaceutical plastic container manufacturer, Shinko Chemical. And the second one is available for contract irradiation. The machine in Radia Industry has a comprehensive conveyor system with a turn-over equipment to shoot from the top and the bottom of materials with e-beam and X-ray, and has been successfully operated for many years. The machine in Shinko Chemical is equipped with a unique conveyor system with two conveyor lines under the beam window and the motion of the lines are opposite each other. This conveyor system also has a turn-over equipment like other machines but the direction of turning-over is designed to give the irradiated materials more uniform dose. 相似文献

Electroreduction of Tc(VII) was studied in nitric acid solution using glassy carbon electrode. The electroreduction was conducted at a constant potential –300 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl) with a potentiostat. It was found that the difference of the Tc concentration in the solutions before and after the electrolysis was negligibly small. This means that there were almost no TcO2 or Tc deposited on the carbon fiber electrode during the electroreduction. Absorption spectra and distribution coefficients obtained by ion-exchange analysis indicated that Tc(VII) was reduced to Tc(IV).This work was financed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) under the framework of The Development of Innovative Nuclear Technologies. 相似文献

Non-destructive multi-element determination in environmental samples by neutron-induced prompt -ray analysis (PGA) has been investigated. Comparative standardization for the elements including H, B, C, N, Na, Mg, Al, Si, P, S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, Mn, Fe, Co, Cd, Sm, Gd, Hg by PGA has been carried out using the cold and thermal guided neutron beams of JRR-3M reactor and then several environmental reference materials have been analyzed. Accuracy and precision of better than 20% were found for these elemental analyses except for H, C, N and Cl in biological samples. Detection limits in various environmental matrices were 25 to 820 ng/g for B, Cd, Sm and Gd, 1.1 to 820 g/g for H, Na, S, Cl, K, Ti, Mn, Co and Hg, and 0.031 to 10% for C, N, Mg, Al, Si, P, Ca and Fe. Collection and elution method for inorganic anion on protonated chitin has been applied to the spectrophotometric determination of molybdenum (VI). The molybdenum (VI) is collected as molybdate ion on a column of chitin in weak acidic medium which is easily eluted with a small volume of 0.1 M ammonia buffer solution (pH 10). The molybdenum (VI) in the eluent is determined by bromopyrogallol red-Zephiramine method spectrophotometrically. Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range of 0.1-0.8 mug of molybdenum (VI) in 1 ml of eluent at 634 nm. The apparent molar absorptivity is 6x10(4) dm(3) mol(-1) cm(-1). The tolerance limits for WO(4)(2-), VO(3)(-), CrO(4)(2-) and Fe (III) is low, that is, 1-100 times that of molybdenum (VI), but some metal ions and common inorganic anions do not interfere in concentration range of 1000-5000 times that of molybdenum (VI). A solid dispersion of the drug can be made using a polymer carrier to improve solubility. Generally, drugs become amorphized when solid dispersion is formed using a polymer carrier. In such high energy conditions, the solubility of the drug molecule is increased. We previously prepared solid dispersion using a spray-drying technique and reported its solubility and crystallinity. In this study, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) was used as the carrier, and tolubutamide was the model drug, which is water-insoluble. Solubility was evaluated by preparing a solid dispersion using a newly developed 4-fluid nozzle spray dryer. Observation of particle morphology by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed that the particles from the spray drying were atomized to several microns, and they had also become spherical. Assessment of the crystallinity of the spray-dried particles by powder X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry demonstrated that the tolbutamide had been amorphized, forming a solid dispersion. The apparent release rate constant K of the drug from the spray-dried particles was 4 to 6 times faster than the original drug in pH 1.2, and it was also 1.5 to 1.9 times faster than the original drug in pH 6.8. The 70% release time (T(70)) of the drug from the spray-dried particles was 20 to 30 times faster than the original drug in pH 1.2 solution as well as 2 to 3 times faster than the original drug in pH 6.8 solution. Pharmaceutical preparations prepared in this way using the 4-fluid nozzle system spray dryer formed composite particles, resulting in a remarkably improved dissolution rates of the drug. 相似文献
