Multilinear interpolation between adjoint operators

Multilinear interpolation is a powerful tool used in obtaining strong-type boundedness for a variety of operators assuming only a finite set of restricted weak-type estimates. A typical situation occurs when one knows that a multilinear operator satisfies a weak L^q estimate for a single index q (which may be less than one) and that all the adjoints of the multilinear operator are of similar nature, and thus they also satisfy the same weak L^q estimate. Under this assumption, in this note we give a general multilinear interpolation theorem which allows one to obtain strong-type boundedness for the operator (and all of its adjoints) for a large set of exponents. The key point in the applications we discuss is that the interpolation theorem can handle the case q?1. When q>1, weak L^q has a predual, and such strong-type boundedness can be easily obtained by duality and multilinear interpolation (cf. Interpolation Spaces, An Introduction, Springer, New York, 1976; Math. Ann. 319 (2001) 151; in: Function Spaces and Applications (Lund, 1986), Lecture Notes in Mathematics, Vol. 1302, Springer, Berlin, New York, 1988; J. Amer. Math. Soc. 15 (2002) 469; Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 21 (1969) 441).     

A case of concomitant polymorphism and spontaneous resolution: the tetragonal phase of 5‐hydroxymethyl‐7,7,N‐trimethyl‐6‐oxabicyclo[3.2.1]octane‐1‐carboxamide

The title compound, C₁₂H₂₁NO₃, crystallizes in two polymorphic forms, viz. the tetragonal form described here and the monoclinic form described previously [Foces‐Foces, López‐Rodríguez, Pérez, Martín & Pérez‐Hernández (2007). Cryst. Growth Des. 7 , 905–911]. The differences in the conformations of the hydroxymethyl and methylaminocarbonyl substituents have important consequences in the hydrogen‐bond interaction motifs and, therefore, in the packing arrangements. These forms are concomitant polymorphs with melting points differing by 3 K.     

农户信用评估系统的设计与运用研究

农户信用评估的研究对推动农村消费信用的发展，促进农村经济良好运行十分重要。本在构造农户信用评估的指标体系的基础上，提出了农户信用评估神经网络模型的算法，利用实际搜集到的农户资料进一步建立了农户信用评估模型，继而构造了农户信用评估系统，并举例说明了该系统的实际运用，以期能为农村经济发展中的农户信用评价及相关研究提供一丝基础性启发。     

Effects of diamines and their fluorinated groups on the color lightness and preparation of organosoluble aromatic polyimides from 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐amino‐2‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]‐hexafluoropropane

To investigate the position and amount of the CF₃ group affecting the coloration of polyimides (PIs), we prepared 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐amino‐2‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]hexafluoropropane ( 2 ) with four CF₃ groups with 2‐chloro‐5‐nitrobenzotrifluoride and 2,2‐bis(4‐hydroxyphenol)hexafluoropropane. A series of soluble and light‐colored fluorinated PIs ( 5 ) were synthesized from 2 and various aromatic dianhydrides ( 3a – 3f ). 5a – 5f had inherent viscosities ranging from 0.80 to 1.19 dL/g and were soluble in amide polar solvents and even in less polar solvents. The glass‐transition temperatures of 5 were 221–265 °C, and the 10% weight‐loss temperatures were above 493 °C. Their films had cutoff wavelengths between 343 and 390 nm, b* values (a yellowness index) ranging from 5 to 41, dielectric constants of 2.68–3.01 (1 MHz), and moisture absorptions of 0.03–0.29 wt %. In a comparison of the PI series 6 – 8 based on 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐aminophenoxy)phenyl]hexafluoropropane, 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐amino‐2‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]propane, and 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐aminophenoxy)phenyl]propane, we found that the CF₃ group close to the imide group was more effective in lowering the color; this means that CF₃ of 5 , 7 , and 8f was more effective than that of 6c . The color intensity of the four PI series was lowered in the following order: 5 > 7 > 6 > 8 . The PI 5f , synthesized from diamine 2 and 4,4′‐hexafluoroisopropylidenediphthalic anhydride, had six CF₃ groups in a repeated segment, so it exhibited the lightest color among the four series. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A non‐linear and non‐local boundary condition for a diffusion equation in petroleum engineering

This article deals with a boundary value problem for Laplace equation with a non‐linear and non‐local boundary condition. This problem comes from petroleum engineering and is used to obtain an estimation of well productivity. The non‐linear and non‐local boundary condition is written on the well boundary. On the outer reservoir boundaries, we have both Dirichlet and Neumann conditions. In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution to this problem. The existence is proved by Schauder theorem and the uniqueness is obtained under more restricted conditions, when the involved operator is a contraction. 含氟碳菁染料聚集行为的研究

本文对五种不同结构的含氟碳菁染料的甲醇溶液及吸附在碘溴化银T 颗粒表面的聚集行为进行了研究 ,测定了照相性能 ,计算了增感倍率。Dye1 ,Dye2 ,Dye3在甲醇溶液中测得的单分子态吸收曲线 ,当取代基从C2 H5→CH3→无取代基时 ,最大吸收峰对应的波长向短波方向移动 ;乙基取代基的增感染料 (Dye1 )吸附在碘溴化银表面形成的J 聚集态峰值较高 ,对应的增感倍率也高。没有取代基的增感染料 (Dye3)不形成J 聚集 ,增感倍率低 ,有减感作用。Dye4与Dye5相比 ,Dye4具有尖而窄的J 聚集反射光谱 ,增感倍率高。结果表明 :不同结构的增感染料吸附在卤化银颗粒上形成的J 聚集态不同 ,吸收谱带窄的J 聚集态增感染料具有较高的增感倍率。

Low Cost, High Efficiency, Gain Flattened L Band EDFA Using FBGs as C Band Seed Generators

A low cost, coolerless 980nm diode pumped, gain flattened L band EDFA with fast transient control, high pump efficiency and gain clamping effect was realized by using FBGs as C band seed generators.     

Living/controlled radical copolymerization of N‐substituted maleimides with styrene in 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate and anisole

The atom transfer radical copolymerization of N‐substituted maleimides such as N‐phenylmaleimide (PhMI), N‐cyclohexylmaleimide (ChMI), and N‐butylmaleimide (NBMI) with styrene initiated with dendritic polyarylether 2‐bromoisobutyrates in an ionic liquid, 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([bmim][PF₆]), at room temperature and anisole at 110 °C was investigated. The dendritic‐linear block copolymers obtained in ionic liquid possessed well‐defined molecular weight and low polydispersity (1.05 < M_w/M_n < 1.32) and could be used as a macroinitiator for chain‐extension polymerization, suggesting the living nature of the reaction system. The ionic liquids containing catalyst could be recycled in the atom transfer radical polymerization systems without further treatment. Compared with polymerization conducted in anisole, the polymerization in ionic liquid had a stronger tendency for alternation. The tendency for alternation decreased in the order PhMI > NBMI > ChMI in [bmim][PF₆] and PhMI > ChMI > NBMI in anisole. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
