Here we report a cavitand with a photochemical switch as one of the container walls. The azo-arene switch undergoes photoisomerization when subjected to UV light producing a self-fulfilled cavitand. This process is thermally and photochemically reversible. The reported cavitand binds small molecules and these guests can be ejected from the cavitand through this photochemical process. 相似文献

The influence of DNA on the cis–trans equilibrium and fluorescent properties of 3,3-diethyl-9-thiomethylthiacarbocyanine iodide (DTTC) in a phosphate buffer (pH 7) was studied by various photochemical techniques. The interaction of dye molecules with DNA leads to the formation of stable noncovalently bonded complexes. Data obtained from DTTC absorption and fluorescence spectra suggest that complexation proceeds primarily through the cis-form of the dye. Complexation with DNA leads to a substantial increase in the quantum yield of the triplet state of DTTC molecules. The rate constant for quenching the dye triplet state by oxygen turned out to be significantly lower than the diffusion-controlled value. 相似文献

In this study, the titanyl and vanadyl phthalocyanine (Pc) salts (Bu4N+)2[MIVO(Pc4?)]2? (M=Ti, V) and (Bu3MeP+)2[MIVO(Pc4?)]2? (M=Ti, V) with [MIVO(Pc4?)]2? dianions were synthesized and characterized. Reduction of MIVO(Pc2?) carried out with an excess of sodium fluorenone ketyl in the presence of Bu4N+ or Bu3MeP+ is exclusive to the phthalocyanine centers, forming Pc4? species. During reduction, the metal +4 charge did not change, implying that Pc is an non‐innocent ligand. The Pc negative charge increase caused the C?N(pyr) bonds to elongate and the C?N(imine) bonds to alternate, thus increasing the distortion of Pc. Jahn–Teller effects are significant in the [eg(π*)]2 dianion ground state and can additionally distort the Pc macrocycles. Blueshifts of the Soret and Q‐bands were observed in the UV/Vis/NIR when MIVO(Pc2?) was reduced to [MIVO(Pc . 3?)] . ? and [MIVO(Pc4?)]2?. From magnetic measurements, [TiIVO(Pc4?)]2? was found to be diamagnetic and (Bu4N+)2[VIVO(Pc4?)]2? and (Bu3MeP+)2[VIVO(Pc4?)]2? were found to have magnetic moments of 1.72–1.78 μB corresponding to an S=1/2 spin state owing to VIV electron spin. Cocrystals of the poorly soluble antifungal drug cis-itraconazole (1) with 1,4-dicarboxylic acids have been prepared. The crystal structure of the succinic acid cocrystal with 1 was determined to be a trimer by single-crystal X-ray. The trimer is comprised of two molecules of 1 oriented in antiparallel fashion to form a pocket with a triazole at either end. The extended succinic acid molecule fills the pocket, bridging the triazole groups through hydrogen-bonding interactions rather than interacting with the more basic piperazine nitrogens. The solubility and dissolution rate of some of the cocrystals are approximately the same as those of the amorphous drug in the commercial formulation and are much higher than those for the crystalline free base. The results suggest that cocrystals of drug molecules have the possibility of achieving the higher oral bioavailability common for amorphous forms of water-insoluble drugs while maintaining the long-term chemical and physical stability that crystal forms provide. 相似文献
