On the domain dependence of solutions to the compressible Navier–Stokes equations of a barotropic fluid

We prove a general compactness result for the solution set of the compressible Navier–Stokes equations with respect to the variation of the underlying spatial domain. Among various corollaries, we then prove a general existence theorem for the system in question with no restrictions on smoothness of the spatial domain. Scaled-oscillation and regularity

We give sufficient conditions for Sobolev and Lipschitz functions in terms of their lower scaled-oscillation. The sharpness of these conditions is shown by examples. Our examples also show that a Stepanov-type differentiability theorem does not hold under the boundedness assumption of the lower scaled-oscillation.

     

Synthesis and Reactions of Some New Pyrrolylfuro[2,3‐d]Pyrimidines and Pyrrolopyrazinofuropyrimidines

5‐Amino‐4‐methyl‐2‐phenyl‐6‐substitutedfuro[2,3‐d]pyrimidines ( 2a‐c ) were reacted with 2,5‐dimethoxytetrahydrfuran to afford the pyrrolyl derivatives 3a‐c . Compound 3a was chosen as intermediate for the synthesis of poly fused heterocycles incorporated furopyrimidines moiety 4–11 . Some of the synthesized compounds were screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activities.     

On a conjecture of Cox and Katz
