A trajectory-following method with interesting properties is considered for solving unconstrained nonlinear programming problems. The trajectory is defined by a special system of ordinary differential equations. This system uses only the gradient of the objective function. The spin content of the proton is investigated by studying the flavor singlet axial structure of the nucleon in a non-topological chiral soliton model. In order to construct a nucleon state we used the generator coordinate projection method as well as a coherent state for the meson wave function. Using a standard set of parameters we found the value g A 0 ? 0.44 for the flavor singlet axial vector coupling constant. This result is not far from that of a typical valence quark model.  相似文献

The time evolution of the particle number density and spectrum of massive scalar particles, coupled conformally to a classical Friedman-Robertson-Walker gravitational field is followed numerically. Not only for a pure radiation cosmos, but also for one with an inflationary interlude, the density of particles produced remains constant in time. This results in a constant equivalent temperature scale up to the Compton time of the massive particles, and opens the possibility that during a sufficiently long inflation the energy density of the particles produced can exceed that of the radiation background.  相似文献

A recently derived model for stationary flow of energy and charge carriers in semiconductors—consisting of a coupled system of nonlinear elliptic equations—is analysed by the methods of singular perturbation theory. This analysis reveals the solution structure and justifies a modified version of the standard drift-diffusion approximation for charge carrier flow.
Zusammenfassung Ein kürzlich hergeleitetes Modell für stationären Energie- und Ladungsträgerfluß in Halbleitern—bestehend aus einem gekoppelten System von nichtlinearen elliptischen Gleichungen—wird mit Methoden der singulären Störungstheorie analysiert. Daraus ergeben sich Aussagen über die Lösungsstruktur und eine Rechtfertigung einer modifizierten Version der klassischen Konvektions-Diffusions-Approximation für den Ladungsträgerfluß.

The softening processes during and after the hot deformation (850–1180 C) in AISI 321 stainless steel were studied with respect to true strains D and true strain rates . The analysis of deformation curves indicates the occurrence of dynamic recrystallization for values of Zener-Hollomon parameterZ1015 s–1. The retardation of static recrystallization by fine Ti(N, C) precipitates is documented by microstructure studies and by variations of annealing conditions.  相似文献

Using the reaction138Ba(α,2n)140Ce the magnetic moment of the 10 1 + isomer atE x =3714.7 keV in theN=82 nucleus140Ce has been determined by means of the TDPAD method toμ=+10.3(4)μ N . Measuredg-factors in140Ce are compared to calculations within the shell model with configuration mixing. For the 10 1 + isomer in140Ce the four proton configuration π(1g 7 2/2 ,2d 5 2/2 ) has been found to be dominant. From theg-factor measurement strong contributions of multiparticle excitations to thegp2d 3/2,π3s 1 2 or π1h 11 2 shells and admixtures of neutron excitations to the wave function of the 10 1 + state could be excluded. The strongE1γ-branch of the deexcitation of the 10 1 + isomer in140Ce can be explained by means of small admixtures of configurations which contain the outer subshell excitationsπ2f 7/2 andπ1h 9/2. On this basisE1 transitions experimentally observed in theN=82 nuclei140Ce,141Pr and145Eu may be understood.  相似文献

Antiproton-proton annihilation at rest in a gaseous H2 target at NTP into the final state π+ π? K ± π? (K 0) with an undetectedK 0 or \(\bar K^0 \) has been investigated. We observe theE(1420) resonance in the invariant mass spectrum (K 0)miss K ± π? with massM E =1413±8 MeV/c2 and widthГ E =62 ± 16MeV/c2 and find evidence for the production of thef 1(1285). The absolute branching ratio of \(\bar p\) p → π+ π? E 0,E 0K 0 L K ± π ? at (61±6)%P wave annihilation is (3.0±0.9)·10?4 of all annihilations. The observed suppression of theE production fromP wave with respect to theS wave together with some simple selection rules suggest that the quantum numbers of theE(1420) areJ pc=0?+ and not I++.  相似文献
