X-Ray photoelectron spectra of TiS3 with a one-dimensional structure were measured. TiS3 may be regarded as Ti4+(S2)2?S2? with pairs of S atoms (S2) and isolated S atoms. The spectra of the sulfur core-levels are assigned by comparison with those of TiS2, where all S atoms are largely separated. The binding energy of the S2 pairs is found to be 1.4 eV higher than that of the isolated S atoms, which is consistent with the larger negative charge of the isolated atoms. The structures of the valence band of TiS3 are discussed in terms of a molecular orbital scheme for the S2 pairs.  相似文献

Large configuration interaction calculations of the proton—proton coupling constant for several geometrical configurations of the ammonia molecules are reported. The analytical expressions for the energy surface and the coupling constant as functions of two cartesian displacement coordinates are fitted to the calculated values. The potential is used for the calculation of the vibrational wavefunctions for 15NH3 and 15ND3 species and the vibrational averaging of the coupling constant is carried out using these functions. Though the value of the coupling constants shows a very strong geometry dependence, the vibrational corrections are found to be small. A possible correlation of the proton—proton coupling constant with an angular parameter in the NH2 group in RNH2 compounds is indicated.  相似文献

The title compound, C11H10N3+·Cl?·H2O, belongs to the N1‐methyl‐substituted imidazo­[4,5‐f]­quinoline family, in which the heterocyclic ring is protonated at the pyridine rather than at the imidazole N atom. The mol­ecule as a whole is almost exactly planar. The molecular structure has been compared with that of the 2‐amino analogue described in the literature, and it was found that the extra amino group of the latter is involved in conjugation with the adjacent double bond, i.e. the conjugation does not extend over the entire heterocyclic system. The cation of the title compound forms a strong hydrogen bond with the Cl? anion and the anions are interconnected by the water solvent mol­ecule.  相似文献

Five new xanthones, 1,3,6-trihydroxy-5-methoxy-4-prenylxanthone (1), 1,3,5-trihydroxy-6-methoxy-2-prenylxanthone (2), 1,3,5-trihydroxy-4-(3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl) xanthone (3), 1,3,6-trihydroxy-4-prenylxanthone (4), 3,6-dihydroxy-1,5-dimethoxyxanthone (5) and one new flavonoid, 3,5,7,4'-tetrahydroxy-2'-methoxyflavone (6) along with seven known xanthones and seven known flavonoids were isolated from the bark of Anaxagorea luzonensis A. GRAY and their chemical structures were determined by means of chemical and spectral studies. Almost all flavonoids and one xanthone (13) showed antioxidant activity.  相似文献

Estradiol017β is determined in serum extracts by solid-phase chemiluminescence immunoassay. The results are compared with those obtained from unextracted serum in routine conditions with a commercial radioimmunoassay (r.i.a.) kit. For the chemiluminescence procedure, a purified monoclonal antibody to estradiol-6-carboxymethyloxime/bovine serum albumin and the homologous chemiluminescent marker conjugate estradiol-6-carboxymethyloxime aminobutylethylisoluminol are used. Bound and free ligand are separated by washing and simple centrifugation. Results obtained by the chemiluminescence assay (y) and by r.i.a. (x) on 170 serum specimens from women during ovulation induction showed good correlation (y = 1.01x ? 16 with r = 0.95). The methods are similar in selectivity, detection limit (ca. 10 ng l?1) and precision (interassay relative standard deviation, 8–13%).  相似文献

The use of electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) for studying non-covalent interactions between macromolecules and ligands is well established. ESI-MS can be a useful tool for the determination of dissociation constants between molecules in the gas phase. We validate this method by studying the binding of the catalytic domain of cellobiohydrolase I (CBH I) from Trichoderma reesei to the disaccharide inhibitor cellobiose. The method was further applied to study two newly synthesized cellobiose derivatives (m-iodobenzyl 2-deoxy-2-azido-beta-cellobioside and p-benzyloxybenzyl beta-cellobioside). In a titration experiment, peak areas of different charge states of the free enzyme and the complex were summed in order to determine the dissociation constant. For cellobiose and m-iodobenzyl 2-deoxy-2-azido-beta-cellobioside, the calculated values are in good agreement with those reported from either displacement titration or equilibrium binding experiments in solution. Due to non-specific binding, the dissociation constant of p-benzyloxybenzyl beta-cellobioside does not correspond with the solution-based value. Our results indicate the need for careful interpretation of data sets when using nanoESI to study non-covalent interactions.  相似文献

The new mixed-valence mixed-metal complex Cu(py)6Cu2Ag2(CN)6 (py = pyridine) possesses a three dimensional polymeric crystal structure. The Cu(I) atom is tetrahedrally coordinated by two nitrogen atoms of pyridine molecules, by one nitrogen atom of the dicyanoargentate anion and by one carbon atom of the cyano group. Both the dicyanoargentate anion and the cyano group bridge the Cu(I) atom with neighboring Cu(II) atoms. These are hexacoordinated in the form of an elongated tetragonal bipyramid. The equatorial plane is formed by two nitrogen atoms from two pyridine molecules and two nitrogen atoms from bridging cyano groups. Axial positions are occupied by nitrogen atoms of the bridging [Ag(CN2] anions. Correlation between structures of the title compound and seven other dicyanoargentates with their i.r. spectra has been studied. The coordination mode of [Ag(CN2] anions in compounds Cu8-xAgx(tn)3(CN)10 x = 0.25, Cu(3-Mepy)2Ag2(CN)4, Cu(py)2Ag2(CN)4 and Cu(py)4Ag2(CN)4 (tn is 1,3-diaminopropane, 3-Mepy is 3-methylpyridine) is predicted based on this correlation.  相似文献

This paper offers the first series of state-of-the-art quantum chemical calculations (CASSCF, CASPT2, MS-CASPT2) and analytical models for the well-known problem of quasi-general ferromagnetic coupling in copper-gadolinium complexes. A system chosen from the chemical report of Costes et al. was taken as prototype. At the CASSCF level, calculated results for the experimental structure reproduced the magnetic coupling constant well (J(calcd)( )()= +7.67 cm(-)(1) vs J(exp)( )()= +7.0 cm(-)(1)). For more insight, the study molecule was further idealized by geometry optimization to C(2)(v)() symmetry. Systematic ab initio computation experiments were designed and performed. Owing to specific problems related to the non-aufbau ground configuration of the [CuL-Gd] complexes, the calculations were conducted in a nonstandard manner. We found that the qualitative mechanism of Kahn, assigned to the electron jump from 3d of Cu(II) to 5d shell of Gd(III), can be presented effectively as the cause of the phenomenon, if CASPT2 MOs are taken as magnetic orbitals. We showed that the ferromagnetic coupling is also matched and magnified by spin polarization effects over the ligand, in line with the early assumption of Gatteschi. To be distinguished from the initial hypothesis of Gatteschi, which assumed the role of 6s AO of Gd(III), we found that one 5d-type AO is actually involved in the polarization scheme. In fact, the Gatteschi and Kahn mechanisms are not mutually contradictory, but are even interconvertible with appropriate changes of the magnetic orbitals. Within C(2)(v)() symmetry of complexes, the ferromagnetic coupling can be qualitatively regarded as the preponderant influence of interaction channels exhibiting orbital orthogonality (four 3d-4f contacts) over the nonorthogonal ones (two 3d-4f contacts). The effective preponderance from ferromagnetic pathways is supported by CASPT2 results. One may explain the generality of Cu(II)-Gd(III) ferromagnetic coupling as being correlated with the large occurrence of approximate pseudo-C(2)(v)() geometry of complexes. The observed orbital regularity is lost in lower symmetries. Thus, the antiferromagnetic exceptions occur when the molecular asymmetry is advanced (e.g., owing to strong chemical nonequivalence of the donor atoms).  相似文献

The efficiency of the MB-RSPT in the calculations of the correlation contributions to the interaction energies was investigated, using He2 as a model Van der Waals system. The attention has been focused on the convergency of the perturbation expansion in the calculations of the interaction energy and on the analysis of the fourth-order terms of MB-RSPT. In spite of its industrial importance, the detailed reaction mechanism of cyclohexane autoxidation by O2 is still insufficiently known. Based on quantum chemical potential energy surfaces, rate coefficients of the primary and secondary chain propagation steps involving the cyclohexylperoxyl (CyOO) radical were evaluated using multiconformer transition-state theory. Including tunneling and hindered-internal-rotation effects, the rate coefficient for hydrogen-atom abstraction from cyclohexane (CyH) by CyOO was calculated to be k(T)= 1.46 x 10(-11) x exp(-17.8 kcal mol(-1)/ RT) cm3s(-1) (300-600K), close to the experimental data. A "Franck-Rabinowitch cage" reaction between the nascent cyclohexylhydroperoxide (CyOOH) and cyclohexyl radical, products from CyOO + CyH, is put forward as an initially important cyclohexanol (CyOH) formation channel. alphaH abstraction by CyOO. from cyclohexanone was calculated to be only about five times faster than that from CyH, too slow to explain all the observed side products. The a-hydrogen (alphaH) abstractions from CyOH and CyOOH by CyOO. are predicted to be about 10 and 40 times faster, respectively, than the CyOO. +CyH reaction. The very fast CyOO.+CyOOH reaction proceeds through the unstable Cy-alphaH .OOH radical that decomposes spontaneously into the ketone (Q=O) plus the OH radical; the "hot" .OH is found to produce the bulk of the alcohol via a second, "activated cage" reaction analogous to that above. It is thus shown how the very reactive CyOOH intermediate is the predominant source of ketone and alcohol, while it also leads to some side products. The alpha-hydroxycyclohexylperoxyl radical formed during the moderately fast oxidation of CyOH is shown to decompose fast into HO2 + cyclohexanone in a rapidly equilibrated reaction, which constitutes a smaller, second ketone source. These two fast cyclohexanone forming routes avoid the need for unfavorable molecular routes hitherto invoked as ketone sources. The theoretical predictions are supported and complemented by experimental findings. The newly proposed scheme is also largely applicable to the oxidation of other hydrocarbons, such as toluene, xylene, and ethylbenzene.  相似文献
