Summary The formation of violet coloured chelate of indium with Gallion has been studied. Indium forms only one chelate with Gallion at pH 4.5 having max 610 nm. The composition of the complex formed has been determined by various methods and is found to be 11 (MR). The values of stability constant have been calculated by three methods and the average value of logK obtained is 5.6 ± 0.1. A procedure for the spectrophotometric determination of indium has been suggested.
Zusammenfassung Die Bildung eines violetten Chelates von Indium mit dem Reagens Gallion wurde studiert. In bildet damit ein einziges Chelat bei pH=4,5 und max=610 nm. Die Zusammensetzung des entstandenen Komplexes wurde nach verschiedenen Methoden ermittelt und gleich 11 (MetallReagens) gefunden. Die Stabilitätskonstante wurde nach drei Verfahren berechnet, wobei sich als Mittelwert logK=5,6±0,1 ergab. Eine Arbeitsvorschrift für die spektrophotometrische Bestimmung des In wird vorgeschlagen.

The reaction of 3-(2-oxocycloalkylidene)indol-2-one 1 with thiourea and urea derivatives has been investigated. Reaction of 1 with thiourea and urea in ethanolic potassium hydroxide media leads to the formation of spiro-2-indolinones 2a-f in 40–50% yield and a novel tetracyclic ring system 4,5-cycloalkyl-1,3-diazepino-[4,5-b]indole-2-thione/one 3a-f in 30–35% yield. 3-(2-Oxocyclopentylidene)indol-2-one afforded 5′,6′-cyclopenta-2′-thioxo/ oxospiro[3H-indole-3,4′(3′H)pyrimidin]-2(1H)-ones 2a,b and 3-(2-oxocyclohexylidene)indol-2-one gave 2′,4′a,5′,6′,7′,8′- hexahydro-2′-thioxo/oxospiro[3H-indole-3,4′ (3′H)-quinazolin]-2(1H)-ones 2c-f . Under exactly similar conditions, reaction of 1 with fluorinated phenylthiourea/cyclohexylthiourea/phenylurea gave exclusively spiro products 2g-1 in 60–75% yield. The products have been characterized by elemental analyses, ir pmr. 19F nmr and mass spectral studies.  相似文献

In this article, a newly synthesised ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) material, namely LAHS 22, has been characterised. The characterisation of the FLC material has been performed using dielectric relaxation spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and polarisation optical microscopy. We observed an enhancement in the dielectric and electro-optical properties of the FLC material by incorporating gold nanoparticles (GNPs)-decorated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). The GNPs-decorated MWCNTs cause an increment in dielectric dispersion (up to kHz), absorption, spontaneous polarisation and rotational viscosity of the FLC material. The pure and GNPs-decorated MWCNTs doped FLC cells were analysed by means of various dielectric spectroscopic and optical measurements. The observed enhancement in the dielectric and electro-optical properties of the FLC material has also been studied with concentration of GNPs-decorated MWCNTs in FLC material. The GNPs-decorated MWCNTs/FLC composites are not only of fundamental importance, but also useful materials for device applications such as liquid crystal displays and memory devices.  相似文献

Some compounds with fluorite structures in the system CaF2–YF3 were prepared by precipitation followed by thermal annealing at 1000 °C. Photoluminescence spectra of Ce3+ and Eu2+ were studied. In this host, Ce3+ exhibits PL, which is totally different from that observed for the constituent fluorides. Eu2+ emission, on the other hand, is almost the same as that for CaF2. The changes are explained in terms of the defect structure of Ca1?xYxF2+x.  相似文献

This paper presents improved equivalent circuits for the analysis and design of acoustic plate wave devices. The method uses a mixed equivalent circuit for the interdigital transducer consisting of both active and passive sections placed on the surface of a piezoelectric plate. The values of the various circuit elements are obtained by carrying out a best fit between theoretical and experimental frequency dependence of the real and imaginary parts of transducer input impedance. Knowledge of the equivalent circuit parameters allows one to optimize design of the devices. The method has been successfully employed for the design of one-port shear-horizontal wave resonators on Y-X lithium niobate plates. The proposed method can also be utilized for determining acoustic wave velocity with high accuracy.  相似文献
