Interaction of (Sp)-2-(diphenylphosphino)ferrocenecarboxylic acid [(Sp)-1] with N,N′-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) and N-ethyl-N′-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]carbodiimide (EDC) have been investigated in order to study the reacting system itself and to characterise side-products typically arising during the diimide-promoted condensation of acid (Sp)-1 with nucleophiles. The reaction between (Sp)-1 and DCC was found to give preferentially the respective urea derivative in the absence of a base, and (Sp)-2-(diphenylphosphino)ferrocenecarboxylic anhydride [(Sp,Sp)-3] when the same reaction was performed in the presence of 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP). With EDC, the preference for a reaction pathway was less pronounced: whereas the reaction without the base afforded exclusively the corresponding urea, that in the presence of DMAP yielded a mixture of the urea and anhydride (Sp,Sp)-3.  相似文献

This paper is a case study of complete substitution of sodium‐metasilicate in zeolite Na‐A synthesis by an electrostatic filter ash (FA) arising in high amounts during silane waste incineration process. The silicate abundant FA is a suitable material for reinsertion in zeolite chemistry. This is shown in the presented investigation by the development of a model reaction process at low temperatures (50–60 °C) and short times (1.5–4 h). The experiments were performed under addition of NaAlO2 and variation of the alkalinity and the reaction period. Characterization and fine tuning of the process was mainly done by studying the kinetics of FA digestion and zeolite crystallization by XRD and chemical analyses (ICP‐OES) of solutions and solids. It could be shown that pure FA was mostly dissolved (98 %) in 8 M NaOH already after 1 h. Addition of NaAlO2 and crystallization for further 60 min under optimized conditions at 50 °C yielded to a suitable product. It consists of zeolite Na‐A (92 % by mass) beside some hydrosodalite (8 % by mass). According to this low temperature short time process this study is a contribution for the development of energy efficient recycling solutions.  相似文献

We show that, all other conditions being equal, bond cleavage in the middle of molecules is entropically much more favored than bond cleavage at the end. Multiple experimental and theoretical approaches have been used to study the selectivity for bond cleavage or dissociation in the middle versus the end of both covalent and supramolecular adducts and the extensive implications for other fields of chemistry including, e.g., chain transfer, polymer degradation, and control agent addition are discussed. The observed effects, which are a consequence of the underlying entropic factors, were predicted on the basis of simple theoretical models and demonstrated via high‐temperature (HT) NMR spectroscopy of self‐assembled supramolecular diblock systems as well as temperature‐dependent size‐exclusion chromatography (TD SEC) of covalently bonded Diels–Alder step‐growth polymers.  相似文献

A new proteomic staining-free method for simultaneous identification of proteins and determination of their pI values by using low-molecular-mass pI markers is described. It is based on separation of proteins in gels by IEF in combination with mass spectrometric analysis of both peptides derived by in-gel digestion and low-molecular-mass pI markers extracted form the same piece excised from the gel. In this method, the pI markers are mixed with a protein mixture (a commercial malted barley protein extract) deposited on a gel and separated in a pH gradient. Color pI markers enable supervision of progress of focusing process. Several separated bands of the pI markers (including separated proteins) were excised and the pI markers were eluted from each gel piece by water/ethanol and identified by MALDI-TOF/TOF MS. The remaining carrier ampholytes were then washed out from gel pieces and proteins were in-gel digested with trypsin or chymotrypsin. Obtained peptides were measured by MALDI-TOF/TOF MS and proteins were identified via protein database search. This procedure allows omitting time-consuming protein staining and destaining procedures, which shortens the analysis time. For comparison, other IEF gels were stained with CBB R 250 and proteins in the gel bands were identified. Similarity of the results confirmed that our approach can give information about the correct pI values of particular proteins in complex samples at significantly shorter analysis times. This method can be very useful for identification of proteins and their post-translational modifications in prefractioned samples, where post-translational modifications (e.g., glycation) are frequent.  相似文献

We evaluated the utility of SDS-PAGE/Western blot and CE coupled with MS (CE-MS) for detection of urinary polypeptide biomarkers of renal disease in patients with IgA-associated glomerulonephritides. In a reference cohort of 402 patients with various renal disorders and 207 healthy controls, we defined CE-MS patterns of renal damage and IgA nephropathy (IgAN). In a blinded analysis of a separate cohort of patients with IgAN (n = 10), Henoch-Schoenlein purpura (HSP) with nephritis (n = 10), and IgA-associated glomerulonephritis due to hepatitis C virus (HCV)-induced cirrhosis (n = 9), and healthy controls (n = 12), we compared SDS-PAGE/Western blot and CE-MS against clinical urinalysis for detection of urinary proteins/polypeptides. Urinalysis indicated proteinuria for 50, 90, and 33% of patients, respectively, and for none of the healthy controls. SDS-PAGE/Western blot showed urinary polypeptides abnormality for 90, 80, and 67% of patients, respectively, and for none of the healthy controls. CE-MS indicated a Renal Damage Pattern in 80, 80, and 100 of patients, respectively, and in 17% of healthy controls, with the more specific IgAN Pattern in 90, 90, and 1%, respectively, and in none of the healthy controls. Based on differences in CE-MS patterns, the disease mechanisms may differ among various IgA-associated glomerulonephritides. These exploratory findings should be evaluated in a prospective study with contemporaneous renal biopsy and urinary testing. If validated, it may be feasible to adapt the CE-MS methodology to develop novel tests to detect renal injury at earlier stages, assess clinical manifestations, and monitor responses to therapy in patients with IgA-associated renal diseases.  相似文献

Photoelectron spectra of neutral silver trimers, grown in ultracold helium nanodroplets, are recorded after ionization with laser pulses via a strong optical resonance of this species. Varying the photon energy reveals that direct vertical two-photon ionization is hindered by a rapid relaxation into the lower edge of a long-living excited state manifold. An analysis of the ionization threshold of the embedded trimer yields an ionization potential of 5.74+/-0.09 eV consistent with the value found in the gas phase. The asymmetrical form of the electron energy spectrum, which is broadened toward lower kinetic energies, is attributed to the influence of the matrix on the photoionization process. The lifetime of the excited state was measured in a two-color pump-probe experiment to be 5.7+/-0.6 ns.  相似文献

The recently developed reduced multireference coupled-cluster method with singles and doubles (RMR CCSD), which is perturbatively corrected for triples [RMR CCSD(T)], is employed to compute binding energies of nine transition metal ions with CH2. Unlike analogous compounds involving main-group elements, the MCH2+ (M=Sc to Cu) transition metal complexes often exhibit a non-negligible multireference character. The authors thus employ the RMR CCSD(T) method, which represents an extension of the standard single-reference (SR) CCSD(T) method and can account for multireference effects, while employing only small reference spaces. In this way the role of quasidegeneracy effects on the binding energies of these complexes can be assessed at a higher SD(T) level than is possible with the widely used ab initio methods, namely, with the standard SR CCSD(T) approach, and provide a new benchmark for these quantities. The difference between the RMR and the standard CCSD(T) methods becomes particularly evident when considering nonequilibrium geometries.  相似文献

We determined the isotropic, isothermal compressibility of ubiquitin by pressure tuning spectral holes burnt into the red edge of the absorption spectrum of the single tyrosine residue. The pressure shift is perfectly linear with burn frequency. From these data, a compressibility of 0.086 GPa(-1) in the local environment of the tyrosine residue could be determined. This value fits nicely into the range known for proteins. Although the elastic behavior at low temperatures does not show any unusual features, the pressure tuning behavior at room temperature is quite surprising: the pressure-induced spectral shift is close to zero, even up to very high pressure levels of 0.88 GPa, well beyond the denaturation point. The reason for this behavior is attributed to equally strong blue as well as red spectral pressure shifts resulting in an average pressure-induced solvent shift that is close to zero.  相似文献
