Microwave assisted free radical copolymerization of diisopropyl fumarate (DIPF) and benzyl acrylate (BzA) with different copolymer compositions was performed using benzoyl peroxide as initiator. The effect of the reaction conditions on the macromolecular characteristics, monomer reactivity ratio and copolymer properties were studied. The monomer conversion and average molecular weights increase with the content of BzA units in the copolymer. The copolymers were characterized by IR, 1H and 13C-NMR spectroscopies and the molecular weights were analyzed with size exclusion chromatography (SEC). The reactivity ratios obtained from an extended Kelen-Tüdös method under microwave irradiations are a factor which is double than those obtained by thermal copolymerization. The product r1r2 = 0.152 suggests a preference of both propagating macroradicals toward consecutive homopolymerization. The hydrodynamic and polydispersity size were measured in ethylacetate, tetrahydrofuran and methylethylketone with a quasi-elastic light scattering (QELS) technique showing that the quality of the solvents increases in the order: EA < THF < MEK.  相似文献

A novel method is described for the preparation of nanocomposites comprising a high performance rubber for tire application and layered silicates clay. In this work nanocomposites of solution‐styrene butadiene rubber (S‐SBR) with montmorillonite layered silicate were prepared with carboxylated nitrile rubber (XNBR), a polar rubber, as a compatibilizer. A sufficient amount of organomodified layered silicate was loaded in carboxylated nitrile rubber (XNBR) and this compound was blended as a master batch in the S‐SBR. Mixed intercalated/exfoliated morphologies in the nanocomposite are evinced by X‐ray diffraction measurements and transmission electron microscopy. Dynamic mechanical analysis also supports the compatibility of the composites. A good dispersion of the layered silicate in the S‐SBR matrix was reflected from the physical properties of the nanocomposites, especially in terms of tensile strength and high elongation properties.  相似文献

Theoretical models for exploring the antischistosomal activity of a dataset of 18 synthetic neolignans are built using the multivariate image analysis applied to structure–activity relationships (MIA-SAR) approach. The obtained models were validated using the accuracy (Acc) in leave-one-out cross-validation, external validation and Y-randomization procedures, yielding correct classification superior to 80%, 70% and 60%, respectively. Additionally, a comparison was made of the models obtained from binary (black and white) and coloured images; the colours (pixel values) were selected to correspond to chemical properties. It was observed that the models obtained from coloured images with pixel values corresponding to electronegativity (known as the aug-MIA-SARcolour approach) generally yielded superior statistical parameters compared with those obtained from binary images (MIA-SAR) and randomly coloured images (atoms are coloured according to their type) with atomic sizes corresponding to Van der Waals radius (aug-MIA-SAR), respectively. Mechanistic interpretation of the influence of different substituents on the antischistosomal activity revealed that methoxy substituents in the R1 (or R2) and R5 positions of the neolignan scaffold are indispensable for the antischistosomal activity. The obtained results provide knowledge of the possible structural modifications to yield novel neolignan compounds with antischistosomal activity.  相似文献

For the on‐line monitoring of flavour compound release, atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI) and proton transfer reaction (PTR) combined to mass spectrometry (MS) are the most often used ionization technologies. APCI‐MS was questioned for the quantification of volatiles in complex mixtures, but direct comparisons of APCI and PTR techniques applied on the same samples remain scarce. The aim of this work was to compare the potentialities of both techniques for the study of in vitro and in vivo flavour release. Aroma release from flavoured aqueous solutions (in vitro measurements in Teflon bags and glass vials) or flavoured candies (in vivo measurements on six panellists) was studied using APCI‐ and PTR‐MS. Very similar results were obtained with both techniques. Their sensitivities, expressed as limit of detection of 2,5‐dimethylpyrazine, were found equivalent at 12 ng/l air. Analyses of Teflon bag headspace revealed a poor repeatability and important ionization competitions with both APCI‐ and PTR‐MS, particularly between an ester and a secondary alcohol. These phenomena were attributed to dependency on moisture content, gas/liquid volume ratio, proton affinities and product ion distribution, together with inherent drawbacks of Teflon bags (adsorption, condensation of water and polar molecules). Concerning the analyses of vial headspace and in vivo analyses, similar results were obtained with both techniques, revealing no competition phenomena. This study highlighted the equivalent performances of APCI‐MS and PTR‐MS for in vitro and in vivo flavour release investigations and provided useful data on the problematic use of sample bags for headspace analyses. Hyphenated techniques and especially ultra‐high performance liquid chromatography‐mass spectrometry (UHPLC‐MS) are nowadays widely employed in natural products research. However, the complex nature of plant extracts complicates considerably the analysis and the identification of their constituents. Nevertheless, new MS analyzers with increased resolving power and accuracy such as the orbital trap (Orbitrap) could facilitate drastically this process. The objective of this study is the development of a new structure‐oriented approach based on fast UHPLC‐high‐resolution (HR)MS and HRMS/MS methodologies for the identification of isoflavonoids in crude extracts. In addition, aims to assist dereplication procedures, to decrease the laborious isolation steps and orient the focused isolation of compounds of interest. As a proof of concept, the methanol extract of the stem bark of Amphimas pterocarpoides (Leguminosae) was selected. Based on chromatographic (retention time, polarity) and spectrometric features (ultraviolet spectra, accurate m/z, proposed elemental composition, ring double bond equivalent, and relative isotopic abundance) as well as HRMS/MS spectra, several isoflavonoids were identified. In order to verify the proposed structures, 11 isoflavonoids were selectively isolated and unambiguously identified using 1&2D nuclear magnetic resonance techniques. Moreover, the isolated isoflavonoids were studied in HRMS/MS level, employing electrospray ionization and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization sources, in both modes. Useful information regarding their fragmentation patterns was obtained, and characteristic diagnostic ions were defined for the identification of methoxylated isoflavones, dihydroisoflavones and 5‐hydroxylated isoflavonoids. Based on the current results, the proposed dereplication strategy was verified and could comprise a novel approach for the analysis of crude extracts in the future not only for isoflavonoids but also for other chemical classes of natural products. The use of chemically modified starches is widely accepted in various industries, with several applications. In this research, natural cassava starch granules were treated with standard sodium hypochlorite solution at 0.8, 2.0, and 5.0 g Cl/100 g starch. The native and modified starch samples were investigated by means of the following techniques: simultaneous thermogravimetry–differential thermal analysis, which allowed us to verify the thermal decomposition associated with endothermic or exothermic phenomena; and differential scanning calorimetry that was used to determine gelatinization enthalpy as well as the rapid viscoamylographic analysis that provided the pasting temperature and viscosity. By means of non-contact-atomic force microscopy method and X-ray powder patterns diffractometry, it was possible to observe the surface morphology, topography of starch granules, and alterations in the granules’ crystallinity.  相似文献

The crystallisation kinetics of experimental glasses in 3 different systems: (A) Li2O–SiO2, (B) Li2O–Al2O3–SiO2 and (C) Li2O–K2O–Al2O3–SiO2 were studied under non-isothermal conditions. The DTA results revealed a stronger tendency to crystallisation of binary compositions in comparison to the ternary and quaternary compositions comprising Al2O3 and K2O which present the lower crystallisation, i.e. the crystallisation propensity follows the trend A > B > C. The devitrification process in the Li2O–SiO2 and Li2O–Al2O3–SiO2 systems began earlier and the rate was higher in comparison to that of glasses in the quaternary Li2O–K2O–Al2O3–SiO2 system. Thus, addition of Al2O3 and K2O to glasses of Li2O–SiO2 system was demonstrated to promote glass stability against crystallisation. However, the activation energy for crystallisation was shown to depend also on the SiO2/Li2O ratio with the binary system showing a decreasing trend with increasing SiO2/Li2O ratio, while the opposite tendency was being observed for compositions with added Al2O3 and K2O.  相似文献

As a consequence of the continuous increase in the production rate of pulp and paper mills around the world, a great quantity of black liquor, a by-product of the wood digestion process, is produced. This by-product has a great potential as biomass, but needs to be concentrated to higher solids content to be burned as fuel in a recovery boiler. This is necessary to make the pulping process economically feasible, incinerating black liquor to produce high pressure steam, recycling inorganic chemicals to the process. The greater the solids content in black liquor, the better the combustion process in the boiler. Nevertheless, concentration of solids in black liquor above 75 mass/%, causes scaling formation on the heat transfer surfaces of evaporators and concentrators, due to the precipitation of sodium salts, reducing the overall efficiency of this equipment. The aim of this work is to evaluate the use of thermal analyses techniques, TG and DSC, as alternative methods to estimate solids content in eucalyptus black liquor samples since this information is essential to understand scaling formation process, allowing actions to reduce this industrial problem. Traditional techniques applied to determine solids content use gravimetric methods, which are simple, fine, but take a lot of time to be executed. Thermal analyses have proved to be very accurate and have the advantage to be faster than the traditional techniques. On the other hand, the cost-benefit relationship of the traditional technique is much greater and the final decision which one should be used depends on the conditions available.  相似文献

Data from theoretical, thermal, and spectroscopic methods were compared in order to map a possible mechanism for the thermal decomposition of furosemide, a diuretic compound, in solid state. TG/DTG curves suggested a two-stage decomposition process. The first product of decomposition is water (m/z = 18), released due to a dimerization resulting in the formation of an amide. Then carbon dioxide (m/z = 44), nitroxide (m/z = 30), and 2-methyl-furanyl ion (m/z = 81) are released in the second stage. The chlorine substituted benzene ring, due to the double bond conjugated system, being the last fraction to decompose. Theoretical calculations presented are in agreement with experimental results.  相似文献
