The thermal stability and thermal degradation of copolymers based on selected alkyl methacrylates at temperatures between 250 and 400?°C have been studied using pyrolysis?Cgas chromatography. The type and composition of thermal degradation products gave useful information about the mechanism of pyrolysis of copolymers synthesized by using typical commercially available alkyl methacrylates. It was observed that the main thermal degradation products from alkyl methacrylate copolymers are monomers of alkyl methacrylates using by synthesis. Other pyrolysis by-products formed during thermal degradation were carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, ethane, methanol, ethanol, and propanol-1. 相似文献

From measurements of the surface tension, density, viscosity and light scattering of aqueous solutions of methanol, ethanol and propanol at 293?K, their activity in the surface monolayer, surface excess concentration, and apparent and partial molar volume were determined. The surface excess concentration of alcohols at the water?Cair interface was determined from the Gibbs equation by using both the alcohol's activity and their molar fraction in the bulk phase and recalculated by using the Guggenheim?CAdam equation. A large-scale synthesis of known Ru olefin metathesis catalyst VII featuring an unsymmetrical N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligand with one 2,5-diisopropylphenyl (DIPP) and one thiophenylmethylene N-substituent is reported. The optimised procedure does not require column chromatography in any step and allows for preparation of up to 0.5 kg batches of the catalyst from simple precursors. The application profile of the obtained catalyst was studied in environmentally friendly dimethyl carbonate (DMC). Although VII exhibited low efficiency in cross-metathesis (CM) with electron-deficient partners, good to excellent results were noted for substrates featuring easy to isomerise C−C double bonds. This includes polyfunctional substrates of medicinal chemistry interest, such as analogues of psychoactive 5F-PB-22 and NM-2201 and two PDE5 inhibitors—Sildenafil and Vardenafil. Finally, a larger scale ring-closing metathesis (RCM) of a Vardenafil derivative was conducted in DMC, allowing for straightforward isolation of the expected product (23 g) in high yield and with low Ru contamination level (7.7 ppm). 相似文献

A series of N-phenyl- and N-benzyl-2-azaspiro[4.4]nonane- and [4.5]decane-1,3-diones containing a fluoro or trifluoromethyl substituents at the aryl ring was synthesized and tested for their anticonvulsant activity in the maximal electroshock (MES) and subcutaneous metrazole (sc.Met) tests. Among them, the most active were N-benzyl derivatives with fluoro and trifluoromethyl substituents especially at position-2 of the aryl moiety. The introduction of the phenyl ring at the imide nitrogen atom resulted in less active compounds. The results obtained showed that incorporation of fluoro or trifluoromethyl substituents increased the anticonvulsant activity in comparison to respective chloro, methoxy or methyl analogues. Crystallographically obtained conformation for one active and two inactive derivatives with trifluoromethyl substituents at position-2 or -3 of phenyl ring were initially used for molecular electrostatic potentials (MEP) calculation. Some of the most common microtraces that are currently collected at crime scenes are fragments of single fibers. The perpetrator leaves them at a crime scene or takes them away, for example, on their clothing or body. In turn, the microscopic dimensions of such traces mean that the perpetrator does not notice them and therefore usually does not take action to remove them. Cotton and polyester fibers dyed by reactive and dispersion dyes, respectively, are very popular within clothing products, and they are hidden among microtraces at the scene of a crime. In our recently published review paper, we summarized the possibilities for the identification of disperse dyes of polyester fibers for forensic purposes. In this review, we are concerned with cotton fibers dyed with reactive dyes. Cotton fibers are natural ones that cannot easily be distinguished on the basis of morphological features. Consequently, their color and consequently the dye composition are often their only characteristics. The presented methods for the identification of reactive dyes could be very interesting not only for forensic laboratories, but also for scientists working in food, cosmetics or pharmaceutical/medical sciences. 相似文献

The method for analyzing the reshuffling of polymer segments developed previously has been extended to systems involving the disproportionation of chain functionalities. The effect of interchain exchange reactions of this type, leading to the redistribution of chain lengths and of the chain functionalities (redistribution of living and dead chain ends), was analyzed by means of the Monte Carlo simulations. In the systems, in which no propagation occurs (monomer concentration equal to zero), a set of polymer chains containing one living and one dead end was taken as an initial material. A series of simulations were performed for systems with differing molecular weight distributions of the starting macromolecules. Uniform (no chain length distribution polymer – all chains are of the same length), Poisson, and the most probable (geometric) distributions were taken into consideration. Although the molecular weight distributions (MWDs) of functionally different chains of the same polymer were different apart from the eventual equilibrium conditions, the overall MWD was very close to that observed in analogous systems without disproportionation. The same was observed concerning MWDs in modeled polymerization systems, in which reshuffling and disproportionation accompanied propagation. Consequently, a method of estimating the ratio of rate constants of propagation and reshuffling (i. e. kp /k tr) in the relevant polymerization systems, using the observed polydispersity indexes, was proposed. The extent of disproportionation can be evaluated from the determined relationships of the polydispersity index and of the monofunctional chains fraction as functions of the average number of chain transformations. 相似文献
