The interaction of iron (III) with pipemidic acid, Hpipem, afforded the complex [Fe (pipem) (HO)2 (H2O)]2. The new complex has been characterised by elemental analyses, infra-red, EPR and XPS spectroscopies. The monoanion, pipem, exhibits O, O ligation through the carbonyl and carboxylato oxygen atoms. Six coordinate dimer distorted octahedral configuration has been proposed for [Fe (pipem) (HO)2 (H2O)]2.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to investigate market depth as a stock market liquidity dimension. A new methodology for market depth measurement exactly based on Shannon information entropy for high-frequency data is introduced and utilized. The proposed entropy-based market depth indicator is supported by an algorithm inferring the initiator of a trade. This new indicator seems to be a promising liquidity measure. Both market entropy and market liquidity can be directly measured by the new indicator. The findings of empirical experiments for real-data with a time stamp rounded to the nearest second from the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) confirm that the new proxy enables us to effectively compare market depth and liquidity for different equities. Robustness tests and statistical analyses are conducted. Furthermore, an intra-day seasonality assessment is provided. Results indicate that the entropy-based approach can be considered as an auspicious market depth and liquidity proxy with an intuitive base for both theoretical and empirical analyses in financial markets.  相似文献

Information switching and swapping seem to be fundamental elements of quantum communication protocols. Another crucial issue is the presence of entanglement and its level in inspected quantum systems. In this article, a formal definition of the operation of the swapping local quantum information and its existence proof, together with some elementary properties analysed through the prism of the concept of the entropy, are presented. As an example of the local information swapping usage, we demonstrate a certain realisation of the quantum switch. Entanglement levels, during the work of the switch, are calculated with the Negativity measure and a separability criterion based on the von Neumann entropy, spectral decomposition and Schmidt decomposition. Results of numerical experiments, during which the entanglement levels are estimated for systems under consideration with and without distortions, are presented. The noise is generated by the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and the intrinsic decoherence is modelled by the Milburn equation. This work contains a switch realisation in a circuit form—built out of elementary quantum gates, and a scheme of the circuit which estimates levels of entanglement during the switch’s operating.  相似文献

Assembly of orotic acid (H3Or, 1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-2,6-dioxo-4-pyrimidinecarboxylic) and Cd(NO3)·6H2O yielded a coordination polymer, [(Cd(Hor)·2.5H2O)2]n (1), which has been characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction, TGA, and ?uorescence spectra. Single-crystal X-ray structural analyses reveal that 1 is a hydrogen-bonded binuclear Cd-orotate coordination polymer in which both Cd2+ ions have different coordination environments with identical distorted octahedral geometry. Crystal data for 1: monoclinic, space group P21/n, a = 7.0209(10) Å, b = 13.974(2) Å, c = 17.541(3) Å, β = 98.842(2)°, V = 1700.5(4) Å, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0269, wR2 = 0.0612, θmax = 25.960. The emission spectrum of the Cd-complex recorded with 265 nm excitation wavelength reveals the complex has strong blue luminescence with the peak maximum 420 nm (2.95 eV) as a result of the nπ* and ππ* transitions on the H3Or ligand.  相似文献

The generalized calibration strategy (GCS), developed and previously applied to chemical analysis, has been adapted to two-component (2C) analysis. According to the 2C-GCS procedure, a set of 10 calibration solutions containing a sample and standards of two analytes in well-defined composition was diluted. The measurements performed at a given dilution stage allow the concentration of both analytes in a sample to be evaluated with six apparent concentrations calculated with various mathematical approaches. As a result, the method allows the detection, examination, and elimination of nonlinear and interference effects with multiplicative and additive characteristics. To perform 2C-GCS automatically and effectively, a dedicated flow sequential injection system was designed to be fully controlled by a computer. Caffeine and paracetamol were determined in synthetic and pharmaceutical samples using this calibration approach. The analytes were determined with good precision and accuracy with low consumption of sample and standard solutions. On the basis of this experimental model, the influence of effects and tendencies in the examined analytical system was detected and evaluated.  相似文献

In this work, the comparison of the physical properties of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) obtained via the reduction of silver nitrate (AgNO3) in biological and chemical (model) syntheses supplemented with the biosurfactant surfactin is described. In the studies, two strains of Bacillus subtilis (denoted T’1 and I’1a) were used. The biological synthesis of AgNPs was performed using supernatants obtained from cultures of bacteria growing on brewery effluents, molasses, and Luria–Bretani (LB) medium. In model experiments, ascorbic acid served as the reductant; surfactin acted as the stabilizing agent. The surfactin concentrations were adjusted to 5 and 30?mg/L, which corresponded to minimum and maximum surfactin concentrations as measured in the supernatants obtained from the B. subtilis cultures. The chemical synthesis was carried out at acidic as well as alkaline pH. Dynamic light scattering (DLS) revealed that in model and biological samples, single AgNPs were accompanied by aggregated structures. Transmission electron microscopy showed that the contribution of the aggregates in bacterial supernatants and in chemical synthesis is negligible under acidic conditions. However, in the alkaline environment, this contribution predominates. In the model experiments, smaller nanoparticles were formed with higher concentrations of surfactant. The presence of surfactin significantly increased the stability of AgNPs in both bio- and chemical syntheses.  相似文献

We present persistence length measurements on neurofilaments (NFs), an intermediate filament with protruding side arms, of the neuronal cytoskeleton. Tapping mode atomic force microscopy enabled us to visualize and trace at subpixel resolution photoimmobilized NFs, assembled at various subunit protein ratios, thereby modifying the side-arm length and chain density charge distribution. We show that specific polyampholyte sequences of the side arms can form salt-switchable intrafilament attractions that compete with the net electrostatic and steric repulsion and can reduce the total persistence length by half. The results are in agreement with present X-ray and microscopy data yet present a theoretical challenge for polyampholyte interchain interactions.  相似文献

Irradiation of chromium(III) complexes with oxalate and pyridinedicarboxylate ligands (pda = 2,3-, 2,4-, or 2,5-dicarboxylate) leads to diverse behaviors, dictated by light energy, presence of oxygen and the ligand nature. Irradiation within the MC bands is unaffected by O2 and results in ligand substitution. The LMCT excitation is effective only when oxalate is coordinated to Cr(III); then electron transfer from oxalate to central ion generates an intermediate, consisted of a Cr(II)species and the C2O4? radicals. The species undergo fast redox reactions dependent on the presence of O2 and the pda ligand.(1) In anoxic medium the fast outersphere electron transfer from Cr(II) to solvent, generates hydrated electrons and re-oxidizes the chromium centre to CrIII. Then geminate recombination regenerates substrate, whereas competitive release of the C2O4? radical leads to substitution of one oxalate ligand by two water molecules (aquation induced by the LMCT excitation). In the presence of the pda ligand the outersphere electron transfer is accompanied by the innersphere CT, generating Cr(III) coordinated to two radical ligands: C2O4? and pda3?; the intermediate releases also eaq?, but this reaction is slower than that of the homoleptic oxalate complex. Hydrated electrons are scavenged also by the released radicals. All these processes are completed within microseconds and in consequence, the Cr(III) complexes irradiated in deoxygenated solutions are insensitive to subsequent oxygenation.(2) When UV-irradiation is carried out in oxygenated medium reaction of Cr(II) species with molecular oxygen competes with the outer- or inner electron transfer observed in anoxic medium. Both these pathways result in generation of chromate(VI). Quantum yield of the Cr(VI) production is sensitive to the presence and structure of pda ligand, decreasing within the series 2,3-pda > 2,4-pda > 2,5-pda.  相似文献

The concentration and speciation of arsenic incorporated by plants grown in the presence of different arsenic compounds was compared, and the influence of plant sample pretreatment and extraction procedures on the recovery and reliability of speciation analyses was studied. It was concluded that sample pretreatment greatly affected the extraction efficiency, but did not change arsenic speciation. The most suitable extraction procedure involved dried plant material without the use of liquid nitrogen. To assess the ability of White mustard to uptake arsenic in different forms, samples were cultivated in nutrient solutions containing either As(III), As(V), monomethylarsonic acid (MMA) or dimethylarsinic acid (DMA). The translocation factor was the highest (0.70) when DMA was added to the nutrient solution, however the overall As concentration in plant tissues was the lowest in this case. Only inorganic As was found in plant tissues when either As(III) or As(V) was added to the nutrient solution. When organic arsenic was present in the nutrient medium, however, it was partially transformed by the plants into inorganic forms.  相似文献
