This paper describes a new multiobjective interactive memetic algorithm applied to dynamic location problems. The memetic
algorithm integrates genetic procedures and local search. It is able to solve capacitated and uncapacitated multi-objective
single or multi-level dynamic location problems. These problems are characterized by explicitly considering the possibility
of a facility being open, closed and reopen more than once during the planning horizon. It is possible to distinguish the
opening and reopening periods, assigning them different coefficient values in the objective functions. The algorithm is part
of an interactive procedure that asks the decision maker to define interesting search areas by establishing limits to the

We develop a regularization technique for Perona–Malik diffusion equations that relies on multiresolution techniques. The main result of this paper is to show that the chosen discretization overcomes the ill posedness of the nonlinear Perona–Malik model. The aim of this study was to develop nanostructured lipid carriers (NLC) for topical delivery of fluticasone propionate (FP) with the aim to further improve the safety profile and decrease the adverse-side effects commonly reported in topical corticotherapy. NLC are colloidal drug-carriers consisting of a blend of a solid lipid and a small amount of liquid lipid since these carriers have proved to be effective in epidermal targeting in particular of glucocorticoids. NLC consisting of glyceryl palmito-stearate, and PEG-containing medium chain triglycerides mixture, stabilised by polysorbate 80 and soybean phosphatidylcholine were prepared. A mean particle size between 380 and 408 nm and entrapment efficacy of 95% were obtained for FP-loaded NLC. The crystallinity and polymorphic phase behaviour of FP-free and FP-loaded NLC were examined by differential scanning calorimetry and wide angle X-ray diffraction. Results revealed a low-crystalline structure and confirmed the incorporation of FP into the particles. The suitability of PEG-containing liquid lipids to form the lipid matrix of NLC was also confirmed. 相似文献

Wireless sensor networks are an important technology for making distributed autonomous measures in hostile or inaccessible environments. Among the challenges they pose, the way data travel among them is a relevant issue since their structure is quite dynamic. The operational topology of such devices can often be described by complex networks. In this work, we assess the variation of measures commonly employed in the complex networks literature applied to wireless sensor networks. Four data communication strategies were considered: geometric, random, small-world, and scale-free models, along with the shortest path length measure. The sensitivity of this measure was analyzed with respect to the following perturbations: insertion and removal of nodes in the geometric strategy; and insertion, removal and rewiring of links in the other models. The assessment was performed using the normalized Kullback-Leibler divergence and Hellinger distance quantifiers, both deriving from the Information Theory framework. The results reveal that the shortest path length is sensitive to perturbations. 相似文献

This article proposes a solution methodology for the design of a wide area telecommunication network. This study is motivated by the Alberta SuperNet project, which provides broadband Internet access to 422 communities across Alberta. There are two components to this problem: the network design itself, consisting of selecting which links will be part of the solution and which nodes should house shelters; and the loading problem which consists of determining which signal transport technology should be installed on the selected edges of the network. Mathematical models are described for these two subproblems. A tabu search algorithm heuristic is developed and tested on randomly generated instances and on Alberta SuperNet data. 相似文献

Here we report ab initio and density functional results for molecular properties of ethyl azidoacetate (N3CH2COOC2H5) and for the corresponding singly ionized structure (N3CH2COOC2H5+). Ab initio ionization energies based on Koopmans’ theorem are in excellent agreement with the experimental data from ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy. DFT adiabatic energy differences between neutral and ionized structures are very sensitive to electronic correlation effects and are not in very good agreement with experiment. The results for the structure and vibrational frequencies are compared with the experimental data of related molecular structures. 相似文献

Carbon materials are widely used in a range of applications from biomaterials to sensing and electronics. Many of these applications rely on the ability to control carbon/water interfacial properties, in particular, surface charge density. This work reports a study of the electrokinetic properties of amorphous carbon thin films as a function of pH and surface chemistry. Surface ζ‐potential (SZP) and isoelectric point were determined using the tracer particle method. Initially, the use of sulfonated and amine‐terminated latex bead suspensions as tracer particles for the determination of SZP of reference polymer surfaces was validated. The tracer particle method was then applied to the determination of SZP and isoelectric point of macroscopic carbon surfaces with different surface chemistry. Highly graphitic and sp3‐rich hydrogenated carbon surfaces were found to display negative SZP, as expected for hydrophobic surfaces. The isoelectric point of the most highly graphitic surface was found to be pHiso = 3.7. Surface oxidation of these films resulted in a decrease of SZP at all pH values and in a downshift of pHiso to values lower than 1.5, consistently with the presence of surface acidic groups arising from oxidation. Results indicate that the specific choice of acid/base chemistry for the tracer particles does not significantly affect either SZP or pHiso determinations. These results show that the tracer particle method in combination with widely available latex beads as tracers can be applied for the determination of carbon SZP as a function of pH. Three-dimensional (3D) chemical information was obtained by means of a combination of two-dimensional attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FT-IR) imaging with a focal plane array detector and variable angle depth profiling. Since the penetration depth of the evanescent wave in ATR spectroscopy is not limited by diffraction, it was possible to resolve thin sandwiched polymer layers nondestructively within a stack of polymer layers. Chemical images were obtained from layers of different thickness of the laminate by moving a custom-made aperture to specific positions on the condenser lens of the ATR accessory. Sequences of absorption images detect the successive appearance of thin, buried layers of polybutylmethacrylate (d(PBMA) = 400 nm) and polycarbonate (d(TMPC) = 300 nm) in different depths of the stack of polymer layers. The depth resolution of variable-angle ATR-FT-IR imaging is sufficiently high to detect surface roughness at the interface between different polymer layers. Two different stacks of polymers with reordered sandwich-layers were imaged simultaneously, demonstrating the potential of variable angle ATR-FT-IR for 3D-imaging of a sample with xyz-heterogeneity, which can be a powerful analytical technique for materials science and biomedical research. 相似文献

Starting from readily available N-benzyl protected methyl 3,5-bis(hydroxymethyl)pirrolidinecarboxylate a number of racemic methyl t-3,t-5-disubstitutedprolinates have been synthesised, thus opening a practical way towards the preparation of a variety of putative proline-mimetics.
