Metastable a(2sσ) 3Σu+ He2 molecules are produced by a dc discharge in a flowing He stream. Laser excitation downstream of the discharge produces excitation spectra for a number of He2 states. LIF spectra are observed for the (npπ) 3Σg+ series for n = 4–9, excepting 5 and the (npπ) 3Πg series for n = 5–15.  相似文献

Czochralski grown silicon crystals contain interstitially dissolved oxygen which diffuses on heating to form precipitates of silica. We have examined these precipitates by small angle neutron scattering (SANS) in the Q-range 0.05 Å–1<Q<0.4 Å–1. The obtained SANS patterns reveal pronounced anisotropic intensity distributions which resemble the symmetry of the host crystal. The SANS spectra show an anisotropic central peak at Q<0.1 Å–1 due to the single particle shape and a number of weak intensities for larger Q-values. These weak side maxima are considered correlation peaks or quasi-elastic interference peaks. They show, however, an unexpected and distinct temperature dependence: with decreasing temperature below values of 220 K their intensity is lost slowly, but reversibly. At T = 50 K only the central peak from the single-particle scattering remains unchanged. Upon heating, the correlation peaks regain their former value of intensity and Q-position without any evidence of thermal hysteresis.  相似文献

Data reduction schemes currently used for time differential perturbed angular correlation measurements are evaluated in terms of (i) their relative effectiveness in eliminating irrelevant variables, including single counter efficiencies and spectrum time shifts; and (ii) their effectiveness in putting data in a form that can easily be fitted by theoretical correlation functions. It is pointed out that erroneous conclusions may be derived from improperly reduced data, but that properly analyzed experiments performed at four angles allow a good determination of both the time-dependent and time-independent parts of the correlation function. Correction of data for accidentals, source self-absorption and spectrum livetime differences are discussed.  相似文献

We examine a class of gauge theories based on U(1)×SU(2)×G allowing for an arbitrary number of gauge bosons, while retaining the lowq 2 four fermion interaction of the standard model. Measurable consequences fore + e ?μ + μ ? ande + e ?e + e ? at presently available as well as LEP energies are presented. Implications of the recently determined QED cut-offΛ ? ? 100 GeV on gauge boson properties and the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon are pointed out.  相似文献

The orange luminescence at 2.15eV of As-grown ZnS0.52Se0.48crystals has been studied. The peak energy, halfwidth and Gaussian band shape exhibit a temperature dependence which is similar to that of the self-activated (SA) luminescence of ZnS at 2.66 eVand to that of ZnSe at 2.03 eV, and which can be described satisfactorily by a configurational coordinate model. However, optically detected magnetic resonance experiments at 1.8 K show that the luminescence is due to the recombination of an electron thermally released from a donor state with a hole trapped at an A-center acceptor state. The temperature dependence of the thermoluminescence spectra above 77 K and their spectral shift under additional IR exposure are also consistent with radiative recombination involving distant donor-acceptor pairs.  相似文献
