低温等离子体对塑料表面处理——低温等离子体对高密度聚乙烯表面处理的ESR研究

本文研究了不同处理条件(处理功率、处理时间和处理压力)下等离子体气体(Ar、N₂、O₂和空气等)对高密度聚乙烯表面处理产生的自由基的ESR谱。我们观察到等离子体处理产生的自由基是相当稳定的,它的ESR信号强度随处理功率和处理时间增加而增加。但处理压力对它影响不大。我们证明了紫外线对高密度聚乙烯表面产生自由基作用随处理条件而变化。并初步解释了谱的超精细相互作用。     

On the genericity of chaos

Let M be a compact manifold with dimM?2. We prove that some iteration of the generic homeomorphism on M is semiconjugated to the shift map and has infinite topological entropy (Theorem 1.1).     

Controlling a bunch of multiple filaments by means of a beam diameter

We demonstrate a three orders of magnitude increase and stability in the backscattered fluorescence signal from nitrogen molecules by terawatt femtosecond laser pulse induced air filaments using a new method. The method is based on squeezing the initial beam diameter using a telescope. The effect of laser shot-to-shot fluctuations was included in numerical simulations by a random distribution of the initial intensity in both squeezed and non-squeezed beams. Statistical processing of the simulation results shows that the average diameter of plasma channels as well as the total amount of free electrons generated in a bunch of multiple filaments in air is larger in the squeezed beam. Shot-to-shot stability of the simulated plasma density increases in the squeezed beam. The change of this plasma density with propagation distance is in good qualitative agreement with the change of the range-corrected nitrogen fluorescence signal with distance. Theoretical investigation of magnetic property in paramagnetic neodymium gallium garnet under high magnetic field

The magnetic property in neodymium gallium garnet (NdGaG) is studied by the quantum theory. The ground configuration split states are calculated taking into account the spin–orbit interaction and crystal field effect. Taking account of the Nd–Nd exchange interaction, a good agreement between experimental and theoretical values can be obtained for the variation of the magnetic moment with the external magnetic field under “extreme” conditions (low temperature and high magnetic field). Moreover, the temperature dependence of magnetic moment and the magnetic susceptibility χ is also discussed. Above 30 K, the magnetization (M) shows a linear field (H_e) dependence.     

Nonvanishing cohomology and classes of Gorenstein rings

We give counterexamples to the following conjecture of Auslander: given a finitely generated module M over an Artin algebra Λ, there exists a positive integer n_M such that for all finitely generated Λ-modules N, if Ext_Λⁱ(M,N)=0 for all i?0, then Ext_Λⁱ(M,N)=0 for all i?n_M. Some of our examples moreover yield homologically defined classes of commutative local rings strictly between the class of local complete intersections and the class of local Gorenstein rings.     

改善液晶光阀投影光学系统偏振特性的理论设计方法

定量分析了液晶光阀投影光学系统中影响系统对比度的主要因素，利用矢量方法建立三维空间数学模型对光线进行追迹，并利用琼斯矩阵和矢量光学的原理分析了偏振器件--主要是波片--和各种光学薄膜对光学系统性能的影响。给出了在一定假设条件下的对没有波片的光学系统和插入波征后的光学系统的仿真计算结果。两组数据比较表明在光路中插入合适相位差的波片可以显著提高系统对比度等性能。     

Computations of critical groups and applications to asymptotically linear wave equation and beam equation

In this paper, by using the Morse index theory for strongly indefinite functionals developed in [Nonlinear Anal. TMA, in press], we compute precisely the critical groups at the origin and at infinity, respectively. The abstract theorems are used to study the existence (multiplicity) of nontrivial periodical solutions for asymptotically wave equation and beam equation with resonance both at infinity and at zero.     

Random Walks And The Colored Jones Function

It can be conjectured that the colored Jones function of a knot can be computed in terms of counting paths on the graph of a planar projection of a knot. On the combinatorial level, the colored Jones function can be replaced by its weight system. We give two curious formulas for the weight system of a colored Jones function: one in terms of the permanent of a matrix associated to a chord diagram, and another in terms of counting paths of intersecting chords. Shape Optimization for Semi-Linear Elliptic Equations Based on an Embedding Domain Method

We study a class of shape optimization problems for semi-linear elliptic equations with Dirichlet boundary conditions in smooth domains in ℝ². A part of the boundary of the domain is variable as the graph of a smooth function. The problem is equivalently reformulated on a fixed domain. Continuity of the solution to the state equation with respect to domain variations is shown. This is used to obtain differentiability in the general case, and moreover a useful formula for the gradient of the cost functional in the case where the principal part of the differential operator is the Laplacian.
