The effectivity of solvents as electron pair donors   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The effectivity of solvents as electron pair donors, their donicity as expressed by their donor numbers DN, is reexamined. The linear dependence of the enthalpy and the Gibbs free energy for the reaction of donor solvents with antimony pentachloride is affirmed. Extension of the DN scale by other measured quantities, via their linear correlations for sets of solvents where both kinds of data are known is applied to Drago's E-C scale, Kamlet's scale, and Koppel's B scale. This extension, added to previous extensions employing Selbin's DI, II and Popov's 23Na, produces a DN scale for 170 solvents. The relation of DN measured for isolated solvent molecules in 1,2-dichloroethane to DN values measured for bulk solvents is examined by means of the scaled particle theory and solute-solvent interaction terms. A scale of normalized donor numbers DN N is presented. These values are practically the same as the scale, and for those solvents for which DN values are presented here and values are lacking, they can serve in their place for those preferring to use the scale for donor solvents.  相似文献

Summary.  Solubility isotherms in the CuBr2MBr−H2O (M + = Li+, Na+, Cs+) systems at 298.15 K were measured. Treatment of (thd)H (thd=2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptandionate) with excess Os3(CO)12 in an autoclave at 180°C gives the formation of a brown metal chain complex [Os2(CO)5(thd)2]2 (1) and a yellow CO2 cluster complex [Os4(-H)(-CO2)(thd)(CO)13] (2) in low yields. Complex 2 was fully identified by a combination of spectroscopic methods and X-ray diffraction study, showing a unique CO2 ligand bridging a triosmium metal fragment, Os3(-H)(CO)10 and a monometallic osmium fragment, Os(CO)3(thd). Upon treatment of 1 with Me3NO at an elevated temperature, oxidation of the CO ligand occurred at the position trans to the unique CO2 ligand on the Os(CO)3(thd) fragment, giving the formation of a second CO2 cluster [Os4(-H)(-CO2)(thd)(CO)12(NCMe)] (3), which is stabilized by a weakly coordinated acetonitrile molecule.  相似文献

Molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) xerogel films modified with poly(vinyl alcohol)+poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP+PVA) polyblends were obtained by ion-exchange method with sol-gel technique. Investigations were conducted using X-ray “diffractometry”, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. The results show that the H atoms in polyblend are H-bonded with the O atoms in the Mo=O bonds of MoO3 xerogel, which effectively shield the electrostatic interaction between MoO3 interlayer and Li+ ions when MoO3 xerogel is modified by the intercalation of (PVP+PVA). The reversibility of the insertion/extraction of Li+ ions is greatly improved by the modification with polyblend of MoO3 nanocomposite films. MoO3 and (PVP+PVA) x MoO3 (x = 0, 0.5) nanobelts were obtained by a simple hydrothermal process from MoO3 sol. The electrochemical cells with configuration Li/(LiPF6+EC+DMC)/MoO3 modified by (PVP+PVA) were fabricated and their discharge profiles studied.  相似文献

Fourty three phosphorite rocks from Western Iraq were analyzed for eleven REE as well as uranium by NAA using IRT Reactor with a neutron flux of 2.3·1013 n·cm–2·s–1. The gamma activity from each sample was counted with a Ge(Li) and well-type HPGe, each detector connected to an on-line computer. Uranium fission products and different reaction interferences were assessed and allowed for. The results were also checked against international reference materials.  相似文献

采用电沉积-热解法在3Cr25Ni7N合金表面制备了Y2O3薄膜,并研究了薄膜处理对合金在1000℃空气中的抗高温氧化性能的影响。氧化动力学曲线、SEM及XRD分析结果表明,Y2O3薄膜处理使合金表面氧化膜以尖晶石结构为主,氧化膜致密,有效地抑制了Cr2O3的挥发反应,且氧化膜与基体的附着性好,因此合金在高温下的抗氧化性能得到提高,这与氧化钇薄膜在较低温度下抗高温氧化性能提高的机制是不同的。在不同温度下,Y2O3薄膜处理均可以有效提高合金的抗高温氧化性能。  相似文献

The transient hot-wire technique is widely used for absolute measurements of the thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of fluids. It is well established that fluid radiation effects significantly influence these measurements, especially those for the thermal diffusivity. Corrections for radiation effects are based on the models developed and deviations of the measured data from the ideal line source model. In this paper, the effect of fluid radiation on the measurements of the thermal conductivity of n-pentane is presented. For comparison, the influence of thermal radiation effect on measurement of transparent fluids, such as argon is also shown. The difference between the influence of natural convection and thermal radiation is also demonstrated.  相似文献

We have studied the so-called roof collapse in soft lithography. Roof collapse is due to the adhesion between the PDMS stamp and substrate, and it may affect the quality of soft lithography. Our analysis accounts for the interactions of multiple punches and the effect of elastic mismatch between the PDMS stamp and substrate. A scaling law among the stamp modulus, punch height and spacing, and work of adhesion between the stamp and substrate is established. Such a scaling law leads to a simple criterion against the unwanted roof collapse. The present study agrees well with the experimental data.  相似文献
