Abstract

Amino-functionalized mesoporous silica nanoparticles (AFMSN) were prepared based on the self-assembly process of the pre-fabricated template of anionic gemini surfactant. The perfect mass ration of the reactants for the synthesis of the AFMSN with high surface area and amino loading was optimized by orthogonal experiments. Adsorption capability of the optimized product for lead ion (Pb2+) was investigated in detail. Specially, the effects of the amino content, solution pH, adsorbent dosage, temperature, and interference of other metal ions on the removal efficiency of Pb2+ were studied. It is found that these factors can greatly affect the removal efficiency of Pb2+ and the prepared adsorbent exhibits the high adsorption selectivity for Pb2+. At an optimal condition, the AFMSN adsorbent presents an excellent adsorption capacity for Pb2+ up to 211.42?mg/g. The adsorption kinetics study revealed that the pseudo-second-order model could well describe the Pb2+ adsorption process, and the adsorption isotherm was fitted well with the Langmuir model. More importantly, the AFMSN adsorbent could be recycled 8 times and a high adsorption efficiency of Pb2+ could still be maintained. Therefore, the prepared AFMSN adsorbent may find practical application in removing Pb2+ from the polluted water.  相似文献

CdS nanoparticles were formed on the surface of silica microspheres by the improved layer‐by‐layer self‐assembled technique. High‐resolution electron microscope (HRTEM) image and energy dispersive x‐ray analysis (EDX) confirmed formation of a quasi‐continuous CdS nanoparticles film on the silica microspheres. The results of UV‐vis and fluorescence spectra display that the spherical silica surface has a great effect on the photoluminescence of the loaded CdS nanoparticles. In contrast to the CdS nanoparticles powder, the composite can exhibit the emission ascribed to the band gap transition when the CdS nanoparticles film is relatively thick. This phenomenon is probably due to an enhancement of the crystallinity of CdS nanoparticles induced by the silica spheres.  相似文献

We report on fast-switching and high-efficient optical beam steering based on a polymerisable liquid crystal polarisation grating (PG) in combination with ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) phase shutter. The PG was fabricated in a convenient single-step holographic exposure process using photo-sensitive azo-dye material as alignment layer for liquid crystal (LC) director. A binary electro-optical FLC was employed for circular polarisation selection, which enables the electro-tunable steering of the combined system. The efficiency of 95.7% with 82 μs switching time is obtained for 1064 nm laser. This work provides a versatile candidate for non-mechanical beam steering devices.  相似文献

Enantioselective extraction of hydrophilic 2-chloromandelic acid (CMA) enantiomers from organic to aqueous phase with hydroxypropyl-??-cyclodextrin (HP-??-CD) as the selector was investigated. Equilibrium of the extraction system was modeled using a reactive extraction model with a homogeneous aqueous phase reaction. The influence of important process variables on the extraction efficiency, such as the type of the organic solvent and ??-cyclodextrin derivatives (??-CDs), concentration of the selector, pH and temperature, was investigated by experiment and modeling. Important parameters of this model were determined experimentally. Results showed that the experimental data agree with the model prediction perfectly and the model was further applied to accurately predict the extraction efficiency influenced simultaneously by pH and the concentration of HP-??-CD. Combining the experiment and the model data, the best extraction conditions were: pH of 2.5, HP-??-CD concentration of 0.05 mol L?1, and temperature of 5°C, providing the enantioselectivity of 1.285 and the performance factor (pf) of 0.011.  相似文献

Two new β-CD-calix[4]arene coupling products 3,4 which contained one or two β-CD units in molecules were synthesized by ammonolysis of p-tert-butyl-25,27-dihydroxyl-26,28-di (ethoxy carbonyl methoxyl) calix[4]arene 1 and mono-6-ethylenediamino-6-deoxy-β-CD 2, and their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR, IR and MS (Maldi-Tof). The probable mechanism for forming 3 was discussed also. Using water-insoluble coupling product 3 as an adsorbent, the influences of the adsorption capacities of 3 including initial concentration, temperature and pH onto basic fuchsin (BF) and methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solution were investigated. Results showed that the adsorption capability of 3 to BF was obviously higher than that to MB at similar adsorption conditions. The values of %sorption to BF were over 90 % in range of initial concentrations from 20 to 140 mg L?1 whenas those to MB dropped rapidly from 92 to 58 %. The adsorptions of 3 to both BF and MB obeyed Freundlich adsorption isotherm well.  相似文献

Molecular imprinting is a technology that facilitates the production of artificial receptors toward compounds of interest. In this study, we prepared a series of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) by precipitation polymerization for the purpose of binding specifically to malachite green (MG). The presence of monomer–template solution complexes in non-covalent MIPs systems had been verified by UV-spectrometric detection and molecular dynamics simulations. The synthesized parameters were, respectively, optimized and the optimal conditions for the efficient adsorption property were as follows: template: MG, 1 mmol; functional monomer: methacrylic acid (MAA), 8 mmol; cross-linker: ethylene glycol dimethacryllate, 16 mmol; and porogen: acetonitrile, 30 mL. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and nitrogen adsorption experiments were used to characterize the MIPs. Scatchard analysis was used for estimation of the dissociation constants and maximum amounts of binding sites. The polymer based on MAA had two classes of heterogeneous binding sites characterized by two values of K D and B max: K D = 14.10 μmol L?1 and B max = 1.37 μmol g?1 for the higher affinity binding sites, and K D = 384.62 μmol L?1 and B max = 24.77 μmol g?1 for the lower affinity binding sites. The specificity of MIPs on SPE column was evaluated by rebinding the other structurally similar compounds. The results indicated that the imprinted polymers exhibited an excellent stereo-selectivity toward MG.  相似文献

Nitrogen doped TiO2 (N-TiO2) nanoparticles with about 30 nm in size were produced by a sol–gel method and characterized respectively by UV–vis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Their photocatalytic antibacterial properties were evaluated by the antibacterial ratio against Escherichia coli in dark and under simulated sunlight respectively. The XRD pattern showed that the doped nano-TiO2 was mainly composed of anatase phase. The XPS spectra of the N-TiO2 sample indicated that TiO2 was doped by nitrogen atom. The nitrogen doping created a new N 2p state slightly above the valence band top consists of O 2p state, and this pushes up the valence band top and decreased the band gap. Which leaded to the absorption edge was red-shifted to the visible light region of UV–vis spectra of nitrogen doped nano-TiO2 comparing with pure nano-TiO2. The antibacterial percentage of N-TiO2 against E. coli reached to 90 % under simulated sunlight for 2 h, which was much better than that in dark, also than that of pure nano-TiO2. The photo-catalytic antibacterial activity was activated under visible light. The structure and integrity of cell wall and cell membrane were destructed, and even caused the bacteria death.  相似文献

Through the combination of the divergent and convergent approaches, coupled with the utilization of the powerful Sharpless “click‐chemistry” reaction, two series of sulfonyl‐based high‐generation NLO dendrimers were conveniently prepared with high purity and in satisfactory yields. Thanks to the perfect three‐dimensional (3D) spatial isolation from the highly branched structure and the isolation effect of the exterior benzene moieties and the interior triazole rings, these dendrimers exhibited large second harmonic generation coefficient (d33) values up to 181 pm V?1, which, to the best of our knowledge, is the highest value so far for polymers containing sulfonyl‐based chromophore moieties. Meanwhile, compared with the nitro‐chromophore‐based analogues, their optical transparency and NLO stability were improved in a large degree, due to the lower dipole moment (μ) and the special main‐chain structure of sulfonyl‐based chromophore in these dendrimers.  相似文献
