A facile method for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in mosses is reported using ultrasonic-assisted extraction and gas chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. The efficiency of ultrasonic-assisted extraction and the reagents was optimized. Tandem mass spectrometry with selective reaction monitoring was used to enhance the selectivity to reduce matrix interferences and simplify the purification protocol. The detection limits were from 0.1 to 2.0?ng/mL. The linear calibration range was two orders of magnitude and the coefficients of linear correlation exceeded 0.9992 for all analytes. The relative standard deviations within 1 day and 3 days were less than 9.0%. Recoveries from 56.8 to 109.0% were obtained in fortified mosses. Recently, polymeric materials have been filled with synthetic or natural inorganic compounds in order to improve their properties. Especially, polymer clay nanocomposites have attracted both academic and industrial attention. Currently, the structure and physical phenomena of organoclays at molecular level are difficultly explained by existing experimental techniques. In this work, molecular dynamics (MD) simulation was executed using the CLAYFF and CHARMM force fields to evaluate the structural properties of organoclay such as basal spacing, interlayer density, energy and the arrangement of alkyl chains in the interlayer spacing. Our results are in good agreement with available experimental or other simulation data. The effects of interlayer cations (Na+, K+, Ca2+), the cation exchange capacity, and the alkyl chain length on the basal spacing and the structural properties are estimated. These simulations are expected to presage the microstructure of organo-montmorillonite and lead relevant engineering applications. 相似文献
The authors describe a fluorescent probe for sulfide that is based on carboxy-functionalized semiconducting polymer dots (P-dots). The dots were prepared from carboxy-functionalized poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-co-(1,4-benzo-2,1′-3-thiadiazole)] (referred to as COOH-PFBT) via co-precipitation. The P-dots aggregate on addition of Cu(II) ions and their green fluorescence (with excitation/emission peaks at 455/540 nm) is then quenched. Fluorescence is restored on addition of sulfide to the aggregates due to the formation of CuS. This quenching-recovery (“off-on”) mechanism forms the basis for a new sulfide detection scheme. Fluorescence increases linearly in the 1.25 to 75.0 μM sulfide concentration range, with a 0.45 μM detection limit. Good selectivity over other anions is demonstrated. The method shows recoveries ranging between 98.6% and 105.7% when applied to the determination of sulfide in spiked real water samples.

The authors have developed a rapid and reliable method for the capillary electrochromatographic determination of cephalosporin antibiotics in environmental waters. An open-tubular capillary column was modified with the complex [Cu(mal)(bpy)], a copper(II) complex with malic acid and 4,4′-bipyridyl, by an amide coupling method to act as the stationary phase. The simultaneous determination of the cephalosporins formulations, namely cefapirin (CP), ceftiofur (EFT) and cefixime (CFM) in environmental water samples was accomplished in buffer of pH 5.0 by applying a voltage of 8 kV and with DAD detection. Detection limits typically are 0.1 μg?mL?1.The method was applied to the analysis of cephalosporins in spiked water samples from Kunming Lake to give recoveries betwen 88 and 106%.

Surface soil samples collected in the Jiuquan region in the downwind area of the Chinese nuclear test site (CNTs) were analyzed for Pu isotopes. The 239+240Pu activities ranged from 0.025 ± 0.009 to 0.89 ± 0.16 mBq g?1, varying significantly with different sampling sites. The Dunhuang city that is located in the southwestern part of the Jiuquan region received the heaviest Pu deposition (239+240Pu activities, 0.23–0.89 mBq g?1). Most of the 240Pu/239Pu isotopic ratios were similar with that of the global fallout. However, the low values (0.080–0.147) observed in three sampling sites further supported the finding of Pu originated from CNTs in that region. 相似文献
We explore recurrence properties arising from dynamical approach to the van der Waerden theorem and similar combinatorial problems. We describe relations between these properties and study their consequences for dynamics. In particular, we present a measure-theoretical analog of a result of Glasner on multi-transitivity of topologically weakly mixing minimal maps.
