A regioselective synthesis of 3-benzazepinones via intramolecular hydroamidation of acetylenes

Synthesis of 3-benzazepinones by palladium-catalyzed intramolecular addition of amides to alkynes is achieved. Phenyl acetylenes substituted in the ortho-position with tethered amide functionality were prepared in a few steps from readily available starting materials. It was found that 5% Pd(OAc)₂(PPh₃)₂ and KOH most effectively promoted cyclization. When the tethered group is an acetamide and an alkyl substituent is on the acetylene unit, regioselective 3-benzazepinone synthesis could be achieved in good yields.     

Selection of membrane materials for separation of H2-containing mixtures: Database analysis

Correlation between the chemical structure and transport characteristics of polyimides that are used for separation of hydrogen-containing mixtures is analyzed. The effect of various functional groups (keto-, oxy-, methoxy-, amino-, and others) in polyimides is considered in detail. The group-contribution method is demonstrated to be efficient for prediction of the transport properties of new polyimides and for the search for new promising diamine-dianhydride combinations. The empirical analysis of the database accumulated at the Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis, Russian Academy of Sciences, confirms the perspectiveness of further investigations of new membrane materials for separation of H₂-CH₄ and H₂-CO gas pairs.     

Extension of the range of resonator scanning spectrometer into submillimeter band and some perspectives of its further developments

Extension of the working frequency of modern resonator spectrometers into submillimeter wave range is described. Experimental record of atmospheric absorption spectrum covering 45-370 GHz range is demonstrated for the first time, and measured water vapor J′_{ka′, kc′}-J_{ka, kc} = 5_1,5-4_2,2 at 325 GHz line parameters are presented. For the first time pressure lineshift for the 325-GHz water vapor line is measured. Further extension of working range is discussed. New estimations of physical limits of time needed for measurements of absorption in the whole Backward Wave Oscillator (BWO) range are given for phase continuous synthesizer regime. Basic schemes of fast broadband continuous phase synthesized sources are discussed. Verification of the previous measurements of water vapor 3_1,3-2_2,0 at 183 GHz line parameters is presented. Comparisons with ringdown resonator spectrometers are given.     

Some Results behind Dividend Problems

聚异丁烯高活性端基含量及相对分子质量测定方法的研究

综合使用核磁，VPO和近红外光谱分析技术对聚异丁烯活性端基含量以及相对分子质量的测定进行了详细研究，分别建立核测定聚异丁烯活性端基含量以及其他烯键含量和近红外光谱快速测量聚异聚丁烯活性端基含量。其他烯键含量和相对分子质量的分析方法。成对t检验结果表明，近红外光谱分析方法测定结果与核磁和VPO方法测定结果之间无显著性差异。     

C波段平面异向介质设计及其后向波特性验证

提出了一种工作在C波段的新型平面结构异向介质，它除了带宽宽和损耗小外，还具有体积小、结构简单的优点，而且能够实现工作频段的平移，频率平移范围为4—20 GHz.基于电磁波由自由空间入射半无限大异向介质平板的传输和反射数据，计算出了电波在其中传播时的相速随频率的变化曲线，结果表明所讨论的异向介质确实在预想的频段上表现出后向波特性；同时利用相位观察法进一步验证了上述的后向波特性，从而肯定了异向介质的存在. 关键词： 异向介质 宽频带 小单元 后向波特性     

Gravitational field of a family of SU(5) dyons

By solving the coupled SU(5) Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs equations, we obtain the exact Reissner-Nordstrom type gravitational field of a family of spherically symmetric SU(5) dyons with magnetic charge 1/2e.
