The recent discovery of a distorted hexagonal phase in 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphatidylethanolamine/1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphatidylcholine (DOPE/DOPC) mixtures raised the intriguing question as to whether lipid mixtures demix in a bent monolayer. We performed neutron diffraction on a mixture of headgroup deuterated DOPC-d(13) and nondeuterated DOPE to study the lipid distribution in the distorted hexagonal phase. The 1:1 lipid mixture in full hydration and 25 degrees C was in a homogeneous lamellar phase. Upon dehydration the mixture transformed to a rhombohedral phase, then to a distorted inverted hexagonal phase, and finally to a regular inverted hexagonal phase. In the distorted hexagonal phase, the diffraction pattern showed a two-dimensional monoclinic lattice with two reciprocal vectors of equal length (1.5 nm(-)(1)) forming an angle 53 degrees between them. Diffraction intensities measured while varying the D(2)O/H(2)O ratio in the humidity was used to solve the phase problem. The neutron scattering length density distribution of the distorted hexagonal phase was constructed. The constant density contours are approximately elliptical. The difference in the eccentricities of the contours between the water and lipid distributions indicates that the DOPE/DOPC ratio is not uniform around the elliptical lipid tube in the unit cell. DOPE is preferentially distributed at the vertex regions where the curvature is the highest. Thus for the first time it is shown that when a monolayer of a homogeneous lipid mixture is bent, the lipid components are partially demixed in reaching the free energy minimum. 相似文献

In this work ab initio molecular orbital methods were employed to study the coal combustion reaction mechanisms of tin oxidized by different oxidants, including HOCl, HCl, ClO, ClO2, NO3, CO2, and O2. Eleven reaction pathways were identified. The results show that Sn can react with HCl, ClOO, CO2, O2, and NO3 to form SnO and SnCl. SnO can be oxidized into SnCl by HOCl and HCl. A 1:1 reaction of triphenyltin chloride with potassium N-[(3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxylphenyl)methylene]valinate in benzene led to the formation of a novel mixed organotin dinuclear complex, (HL)SnPh3oPh2SnL [L=2-O-3,5-Br2C6H3CH=NCH(i-Pr)COO], by means of a facile phenyl-tin bond cleavage process. In the complex, there are two distinct types of carboxylate moieties and a trans-O2SnC2N and a trans-O2SnC3 in distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries were bridged by a carboxylate group. In vitro antitumor activity of the complex against three human tumour cell lines (HeLa, CoLo205 and MCF-7) was found to be much higher than cis-platin used in clinic. 相似文献

The conformational behavior of a series of crown-fused dithia[n.3.3](1,2,6)cyclophanes (126-CPs) and dithia[n.3.3](1,3,5)cyclophanes (135-CPs) was investigated by variable-temperature 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Single crystal X-ray structure analysis showed that two thia-bridges in 126-CPs adopted a pseudochair-pseudochair (cc) conformation and the cyclophane decks underwent a ring-tilting motion in the case of [10.3.3](1,2,6)cyclophane (1a). In contrast, the thia-bridges in 135-CPs took both cc and pseudoboat-pseudochair (bc) conformations, and the ring-tilting process was also found in [10.3.3](1,3,5)cyclophane (2a). Variable temperature 1H NMR study revealed that there was no wobbling-motion for two thia-bridges in 126-CPs while thia-bridges in 135-CPs experienced a wobbling-process with a conformational barrier of 9.21 and 8.80 kcal mol−1, respectively, for 2a and [13.3.3](1,3,5)cyclophane (2b). DFT calculations for the two cyclophanes series revealed that 126-CPs preferred a cc conformation which was consistent with the experimental observation; similarly, 135-CPs took a preferential cc conformation, agreeing with 2a having a predominant cc conformer (cc:bc ratio=70:30), but not 2b having a predominant bc conformer (cc:bc ratio=15:85) in the solid state. 相似文献

Coordination reactions of N-(2-thienylmethylidene)aniline derivatives, L, with PdCl2 or [PdCl4]2? in ethanol yield stable complexes of the type trans-(L)2PdCl2 with the azomethine nitrogen atoms as σ donors. These are not readily convertible to othor-palladated complexes. An X-ray crystallographic study of the complex (L2)2PdCl2 reveals a centrosymmetric geometry. The structure is in the triclinic space group $ {\rm P}\bar 1 $ with a = 8.633(2) Å, b = 12.759(3) Å, c = 8.398(2) Å, α = 96.65(5)°, β = 111.47(5)*, γ= 101.28(6)°, and Z = 1. The final R factor is 0.043 (Rw = 0.044) for 2396 observed reflections. There is no real bonding between a thiophene sulfur atom and a central palladium ion. 近年来,精确原子个数的金纳米簇因其在催化、生物医药、传感等领域具有潜在应用而备受关注。本研究中使用金刚烷硫醇(HS-Adam)作为配体制备了Au23(S-Adam)16纳米簇。在室温条件下,通过HS-Adam刻蚀Au23(S-Adam)16纳米簇,得到了纯度较高的Au21(S-Adam)15,其转换率可达20% (根据金原子计算)。并通过紫外可见吸收光谱(UV-Vis),电喷雾(ESI)和基质辅助激光解析飞行时间(MALDI)质谱以及热重分析(TGA)对合成的金纳米簇进行表征。 相似文献
