Oxidative coupling of methane over Na-Mn-W/SiO2 catalyst at higher pressure

Na-Mn-W/SiO₂ catalysts were prepared and their catalytic performance for oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) was evaluated in a stainless-steel microreactor at elevated pressure. The results show that a CH₄ conversion of 15.1% with a C₂₊ selectivity of 71.8% was obtained under 750^oC, 1.0×10⁵h^-1 GHSV, CH₄/O₂ ratio of 8 and 1.0 MPa. Moreover, 17.3% CH₄ conversion with 51.6% C₂ selectivity and 23.6% C₃-C₄ selectivity was obtained under 750^oC, 2.0×10⁵h^-1 GHSV, CH₄/O₂ ratio of 8 and 1.0 MPa.     

New fluorescent probes for the detection of mixed sodium and potassium metal ions

A new fluorescent probe 2 is developed that is capable of measuring the concentration of a mixture of sodium and potassium ions in the solution. This probe contains a fluorophore that is utilized in two ways depending on the pH of the solution.     

Nonequilibrium Monte Carlo simulation of lattice block copolymer chains subject to oscillatory shear flow

This paper has extended nonequilibrium Monte Carlo (MC) approach to simulate oscillatory shear flow in a lattice block copolymer system. Phase transition and associated rheological behaviors of multiple self-avoiding chains have been investigated. Stress tensor has been obtained based upon sampled configuration distribution functions. At low temperatures, micellar structures have been observed and the underlying frequency-dependent rheological properties exhibit different initial slopes. The simulation outputs are consistent with the experimental observations in literature. Chain deformation during oscillatory shear flow has also been revealed. Although MC simulation cannot account for hydrodynamic interaction, the highlight of our simulation approach is that it can, at small computing cost, investigate polymer chains simultaneously at different spatial scales, i.e., macroscopic rheological behaviors, mesoscopic self-assembled structures, and microscopic chain configurations.

本文合成并研究了１－酰基二茂铁在ＣＨ２Ｃｌ２中的伏安行为，测定了它们在ＣＨ２Ｃｌ２中不同支持电解质浓度时的扩散系数，并分明用Ｚ．Ｇａｌｕｓ和Ｋ．Ａｏｋｉ方法计算了两种状态下的电子迁移速率常数。讨论了取代基的诱导效应和共轭效应及其链长对１－酰基二茂铁的动力学性质的影响以及支持电解质及其浓度等因素对伏安曲线的影响。     

TB-curve, a New 2-D Graphical Representation of DNA Sequences

Based on the classifications of the four nucleic acid bases, we introduce a new 2-D method of DNA representation: TB-curve, which avoids loss of information accompanying alternative 2-D representation in which the curve standing for DNA overlaps and intersects itself. The method is illustrated on the coding sequence of the first exon of human beta-globin gene.     

分子筛模型中非骨架离子位置的研究

从理论上研究了非骨架阳离子可能的分布位置．计算了分子筛晶体基本结构单元在整个空间的静电势分布，找出空间中静电势的各个极小点．在静电势最低点逐个放置钠离子，优化，重新计算模型分子筛的电势分布．研究了阳离子放置过程中静电势变化的趋势．     

偏氟乙烯的聚合反应

本文研究了用有机引发剂引发偏氟乙烯的水相聚合,并对制得的聚偏氟乙烯的性质进行了研究。有机引发剂引发聚合的聚偏氟乙烯的热稳定性、强度、结晶度和熔点均比用过硫酸盐引发聚合的聚偏氟乙烯高。     

Mesoporous electrode material from alumina-stabilized anatase TiO2 for lithium ion batteries

A mesoporous electrode material whose structure is composed of anatase nanocrystals stabilized by alumina is reported. Powder X-ray diffraction shows the anatase phase only, but micro-Raman spectroscopy shows that the materials have a core-shell morphology with grains of bulk anatase covered by a thin rutile layer on the surface. This structure is unique when compared to analogous materials stabilized by zirconia (PNNL-1). Nitrogen adsorption isotherms demonstrate a monotonous increase in surface area and mesopore volume with increasing Al content. Thin film electrodes from these materials were characterized by lithium insertion electrochemistry. Cyclic voltammograms exhibit significant differences in Li accommodation in Al-free and Al-stabilized materials.
