Solid solutions of GeO2 in Fe2O3 were prepared by mechanically mixing the solids and firing at 1000°C in air, and from a gel obtained by the addition of an alcohol solution of germanium ethoxide to iron dissolved in HNO3. The dried gel was then heated at 1000°C. The solubility limit is 5 mole% GeO2, Fe1.95Ge0.05O3. Similar procedures were used to prepare solid solutions with Si and the solubility limit is greater than 4 mole% SiO2. Firing of mixtures or gels of Fe2O3 containing Mg produces a spinel phase even at the lowest detectable concentrations. The resistivity of pressed pellets of Fe2?xGexO3 varies from about 106 ohm-cm for x = 0 to about 10?1 ohm-cm for x = 0.05. The photoassisted electrolysis of water at Ge-doped Fe2O3 electrodes is demonstrated. The Fe2O3(Ge)0.7 M Fe(CN)4?6, 0.05 M Fe(CN)3?6Pt photoelectrochemical cell showed a 0.29-V open-circuit voltage, 1.2-mA/cm2 short-circuit current, 0.31 fill factor, and 0.06% power efficiency.  相似文献

The hydrolysis and condensation of zirconium n-propoxide in n-propanol have been chemically controlled via the complexation of the zirconium precursor with acetylacetone. The size of the zirconium oxide-based particles is mainly controlled by the complexation ratio x=[acac]/[Zr]. the mean size increases from nanometric to submicronic range when x decreases from 1 to 0.1. Amorphous colloidal particles are obtained at room temperature. They result from a competitive growth/termination mechanism of zirconium-oxo species in the presence of acac surface capping agents. However non-aggregated nanocrystalline particles of tetragonal zirconia, about 2 nm in diameter are formed upon aging at 60°C when hydrolysis is performed in the presence of paratoluene sulfonic acid (PTSA).  相似文献

We show that the exact non-Born-Oppenheimer Schrodinger equation for the Hookean diatomic molecule H2 (a two-proton, two-electron system where the electron-proton interaction is harmonic while the proton-proton and electron-electron interactions are Coulombic) can be decoupled into equations describing the relative motion of the electrons, the relative motion of nuclei, the motion of a collective mode representing a three-dimensional harmonic oscillator, and the motion of a free particle expressed as a linear combination of the individual center-of-mass coordinates of the nuclei and electrons. Analytic solutions to the relative motion of electrons can be readily obtained for the given values of the harmonic coupling constant. However, exact analytic solutions to the equation for the relative motion of the nuclei cannot be obtained simultaneously due to the fact that the harmonic constants in these two equations are coupled. For this reason, we present for the relative nuclear motion approximate analytic wave functions, one of them obtained variationally and the other by a series solution where the coefficients are determined recursively. We also explore a variational solution to the Taylor-series expansion of the nuclear interaction potential. Properties of the electronic and nuclear intracule densities are examined at different values of the coupling constant. An interesting result of the present non-Born-Oppenheimer treatment of this harmonic model is the fact that the relative nuclear motion occurs in a highly correlated regime. This leads in a natural way to a spatial localization of the nuclei akin to Wigner electronic crystallization.  相似文献

A multiresidue, automated and rapid method for the determination of pesticide residues in olive oil is presented. The method employs the through oven transfer adsorption-desorption interface for the on-line coupling of reversed-phase liquid chromatography and gas chromatography. In this fully automated system, olive oil is directly injected with no sample pre-treatment step other than filtration. Methanol-water is used as eluent in the liquid chromatography pre-separation step. The selected liquid chromatography fraction containing the pesticides is automatically transferred to the gas chromatography. The liquid chromatography column flow during elution is different from the flow during the transfer. Using a flame ionisation detector, pesticide detection limits varied from 0.1 to 0.3 mg/l.  相似文献

Summary The study of trace element levels is of great importance due to their relevance in agingand several neurodegenerative diseases. This work compares the elemental concentrations in different postnatal ages and between the temporal cortex, entorhinal cortex and hippocampus from Wistar rats, using X-ray total reflection fluorescence with synchrotron radiation. Ten elements were determined in brain samples: Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, (at trace level) and P, S, Cl and K (at major levels). The elements that increased with aging in cortical areas were: S, K, Fe, Cu and Zn. Ca and Zn levels decreased with advancing age in the hippocampus. In addition to this, Ti, Mn and Fe levels were more conspicuous in the entorhinal cortex.  相似文献

Starting with 1,1-dimethoxy-2-propanone ( 1 ), 6-formyl-1,2-dihydro-2-oxo-3-pyridinecarboxylic acid ( 5a ) has been prepared in large quantities by a highly efficient, 4-step synthesis. This compound, along with its one carbon homologue, 6-acetyl-1,2-dihydro-2-oxo-3-pyridinecarboxylic acid ( 5b ) has been reacted with several carbonyl derivative forming reagents to provide a series of side chains for β-lactams. Among these carbonyl derivatives are styrylamides which were prepared from Wittig and Horner-Emmons reagents. The preparation of the phosphonium salts and phosphonate esters is also described.  相似文献

A method is described for the determination of molybdenum down to the microgram level, in samples of soil, steels, fertilizers and pharmaceuticals. After attack with acids, this element is separated from matrix elements by extraction of its 5,5'-methylenedisalicylohydroxamic acid (MEDSHA) complex from 4M hydrochloric acid, into methyl isobutyl ketone. Molybdenum is determined by atomic-absorption spectrometry (AAS), after conversion of the Mo-MEDSHA complex into the MoSCN(-) complex in the organic phase. The detection limit is 0.03 microg/ml, with a relative standard deviation not exceeding 1.5% at a level of 2 microg/ml. The method is highly selective and suffers only from interference by tungsten.  相似文献

Summary In this study the concentrations of P, S, Cl, K, Ca, Mn, Fe, Zn and Br in twenty-nine brands of national and international beers were determined by synchrotron radiation total reflection X-ray fluorescence analysis (SR-TXRF). The results were compared with the limits established by the Brazilian legislation and the nutritional values established by National Agricultural Library (NAL, USA). The measurements were performed at the X-Ray Fluorescence Beamline at Brazilian National Synchrotron Light Laboratory, in Campinas, S?o Paulo, Brazil, using a polychromatic beam for excitation. A small volume of 5 ml of beers containing an internal standard used to correct geometry effects was analyzed without pretreatment. The measuring time was 100 seconds and the detection limits obtained varied from 1 mg . l-1 for Mn and Fe to 15 mg . l-1 for P.  相似文献

Preparative reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography has found wide use in the production of peptides for pharmaceutical formulations. Purity of the substance and overall economy of the chromatographic system are the most important criterias. In this sense optimized, silica particles and production process with capability to separately control parameters important to chromatography, are essential to high-performance chromatography.
