A detailed investigation of the electrophilic and nucleophilic character of singlet silylenes and germylenes, divalent compounds of silicon and germanium, respectively, substituted by first- and second-row elements is presented. In a first part, the Lewis acid properties of these compounds were studied through their complexation reaction with the Lewis bases NH3, PH3, and AsH3. The results indicate that this complexation is most favorable with the hardest base NH3, classifying these compounds as hard Lewis acids. This is confirmed by the linear correlation between the interaction energies and the value of the electrostatic potential, used as an approximation to the local hardness, near the empty p orbital of these compounds, indicating a charge-controlled interaction in the complex. Also the electrophilicity index, proposed by Parr et al., computed both at the global and the local level, correlates linearly with the complexation energies of the compounds with NH3. The Lewis base character of these silylenes has been investigated, through their interaction with the acids BH3 and AlH3. Also in this case, the electrostatic potential can be used to probe the reactivity of the compounds. It will finally be demonstrated that an increasing stability of the silylenes and germylenes is accompanied by an increase in their nucleophilicity and a decrease of the electrophilicity. 相似文献

Summary High-molecular-weight sodium hyaluronate isolated from rooster combs was degraded by ultrasonication. The molecular weight of hyaluronate and its polydispersity was determined by gel-permeation chromatography. During 75-min treatment the molecular weight value decreased from 1.39×106 Da to 2.25×105 Da while the polydispersity of the molecular weight increased from 1.29 to 2.36. High-performance size exclusion chromatography allowed rapid and accurate determination of molecular weight parameters (Mz, Mw, Mn) and distributions. The time dependence of hyaluronan ultrasonication to the molecular characteristics of the polymer was investigated. The applicability of an approach to establish the sequence of oligopeptides involving on-probe-tip enzymatic fragmentation and subsequent direct fast atom bombardment (FAB) mass spectrometry (MS) and FAB-MS/MS of the subpeptide mixture was tested using two model peptides consisting of 19 and 25 amino acid residues. The method was found to be both time and sample sparing and flexible enough to use even subsequent digests, if necessary, with enzymes of different specificity. It provided in both cases complete information, not only for the sequence of enzymic fragments but also for their order in the original oligopeptide. Consequently, this approach to the sequence analysis of oligopeptides can be a method of choice when the FAB-MS/MS technique itself is unsuitable for obtaining detailed structural information. Different structures have been found for poly(α-tetrathiophene) [poly(α-4TF)] electrosynthesized on Pt by anodic oxidation of 1.0 mM monomer solutions in media such as 45:35:20 (v/v/v) acetonitrile/THF/DMF, 45:35:20 (v/v/v) acetonitrile/ethanol/DMF and 72:28 (v/v) acetonitrile/DMF containing 0.1 M LiClO4; as well as 72:28 (v/v) acetonitrile/DMF with 0.1 M NaClO3, under dynamic and static conditions at 25 °C. In all cases the polymer was generated by chronoamperometry at 1.000 V vs. Ag∣AgCl, corresponding to the first oxidation peak detected by cyclic voltammetry. Uniform, adherent, insoluble and black polymer films were obtained under these conditions. The resulting structures have been elucidated by combining the information of their IR spectrum, nox-value and doping level of the counterion. The degree of crosslinking of every polymer has been quantified and related to the molecular flow of monomer on the Pt electrode. A monomer concentration flow between 4 × 10−6 and 5 × 10−6 mmol cm−2 s−1 was determined as the limiting value below which the polymer grows with crosslinking. This value corresponds to the electropolymerization rate of α-4TF by Pt area unit at 25 °C. 相似文献

The heptadentate Schiff base H3L reacts with cobalt(II) acetate in methanol to form the discrete dinuclear complex Co2L(OAc)2(OMe)(H2O)2 ( 1 ·2H2O). The reaction of 1 ·2H2O with NMe4OH·5H2O in methanol gives rise to displacement of the acetate by methanolate groups, yielding Co2L(OMe)3(H2O) ( 2 ·1H2O). Recrystallizations of the Schiff base, 1 ·2H2O and 2 ·H2O in different solvents, produce single crystals of H3L, 1 ·2.5H2O and 2 ·2MeOH, respectively. The crystal structures of 1 ·2.5H2O and 2 ·2MeOH show the cobalt atoms double bridged by and endogenous phenol oxygen atom and an exogenous methanolate oxygen donor, giving rise to Co2O2 cores with Co···Co distances of ca. 2.87 Å. 相似文献

2-Fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose (FDG) labeled by fluorine-18 is the most widely used radiopharmaceutical for positron emission tomography (PET). For high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)/MS assay and quality control, the mass spectra of FDG and glucose (Glc) in organic + water solutions were studied by flow injection analysis (FIA) and in a chromatographic eluate. In acetonitrile (MeCN) + 0.025% ammonium formate (NH(4)HCO(2)) solvent (80 : 20), electrospray ionisation (ESI) of glucose-FDG provides M.NH(4)(+) and 2M.Na(+) (M = Glc or FDG) as the most intense positive ions. Formation of the latter ions and also of M.MeCN.Na(+) and 2MeCN. Na(+) is typical of the presence of NaCl in the ESI inlet. The positive ions include heavier ions corresponding to the impurities separated by HPLC and also to the cross-ring fragmentation of complexes (2FDG. aMeCNX)L, where a = 0 or 1, L is either Na(+) or NH(4)(+) and X is a fragmented pyranose or anhydropyranose residue. The second most abundant Glc negative ion is m/z = 359 which was interpreted as (2GlcH(+))(). The negative-ion spectrum of FDG has dominating lines due to FDG.HCO(2)() ions at m/z 227 and also (2FDGH(+))() at m/z 363. The m/z 363 signal is suppressed in the presence of NaCl at a molar ratio of 4 : 1 to NH(4)HCO(2), while the ions at m/z 217 and 219, i.e. FDG.Cl(), become three times more intense than FDG.HCO(2)(). The latter ion appears to be most suitable as an analytical signal for chemical analysis of FDG at m/z 226 and 227. Limits of FDG quantitation (LOQ) of 19 ng and 21 ng were found for the 200(+) and 227() ion signals, respectively, and are wholly adequate for verification of total FDG content in radiopharmaceuticals. 相似文献

The reactions of palladium(II) compounds of the type Cl2PdL2 with bromobis(pentafluorophenyl)thallium(III) has been reexamined. The reported preparation of the organo palladium(IV) complex Cl2Pd(C6F5)2(PPh3)2 could not be repeated, and instead mixtures of binuclear palladium(II) compounds, Cl2Pd(C6F5)2L2, and mononuclear palladium(II) compounds were obtained. The effect of substituted hydroxybenzophenone, benzotriazole and organic metal complexes on the photooxidation of PP films has been studied. It has been established that NiDBTC added in 1.0 wt. % is the most effective photostabilizer.While in the case of other stabilizers there is a slight increase in the Co content even during the induction period, with the application of NiDBTC practically no oxidation can be observed before the stabilizer completely disappears. This means that NiDBTC inhibits the photooxidation of the polymer even in low concentration.
