For photo-charge generation of polymeric photorefractive (PR) composites, temperature is important factor with electric field, but no study for temperature dependence of photo-charge generation efficiency (φ) at the glass transition temperature (Tg) region has been done yet. In this work, we investigate the temperature dependency of φ of a low Tg PR composite. With increasing temperature the photo-charge generation efficiencies increased below Tg but decreased above Tg. This behavior could be attributed to temperature dependence of heat capacity and the dielectric constant of PR composite. The space charge field was strongly dependent on temperature and increased with increasing φ. 相似文献

Two new melampolide-type sesquiterpene lactones, 8beta-epoxyangeloyloxy-9alpha-ethoxy-14-oxo-acanthospermolide (1) and 8beta-angeloyloxy-9alpha-ethoxy-14-oxo-acanthospermolide (2), were isolated from the leaves of yacon [Smallanthus sonchifolia (POEPP. et ENDL.) H. Robinson] along with eleven known melampolides, allo-schkuhriolide (3), enhydrin (4), polymatin A (5), fluctuanin (6), 8beta-angeloyloxy-9alpha-acetoxy-14-oxo-acanthospermolide (7), 8beta-angeloyloxy-14-oxo-acanthospermolide (8), 8beta-methacryloyloxymelampolid-14-oic acid methyl ester (9), uvedalin (10), polymatin B (11), 8beta-tigloyloxymelampolid-14-oic acid methyl ester (12), and sonchifolin (13). Their structures were established on the basis of spectroscopic evidence including 1D- and 2D-NMR experiments. The free radical dispersion polymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) has been carried out in supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) and compressed liquid DME using several surfactants. The polymerization are performed in the presence of fluorine-based poly(3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9,10,10,10-heptadecafluorodecyl acrylate) [poly(HDFDA)], poly(3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9,10,10,10-heptadecafluorodecyl methacrylate) [poly(HDFDMA)], or poly(HDFDMA-co-MMA) and siloxane-based PDMS-g-pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid (Monasil PCA™) or PDMS modified surfactants, SS-5050K™ and KF6017™ as polymerization surfactants. When scCO2 was used as a polymerization medium, the PHEMA were heavily agglomerated. However, the spherical and relatively uniform poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) particles could be produced even at 20 bar, with a narrow particle size distribution in compressed liquid DME. It was observed that fluorine-based surfactants were not a good surfactant as siloxane-based surfactants for the dispersion polymerization of HEMA. The average particle size of PHEMA was shown to be dependent on the type of the surfactant, the amount of the surfactant and initiator added to the system. The effect of two continuous phases, which are scCO2 and compressed liquid DME, as a polymerization medium, the surfactant types and the concentration, initiator concentration, and monomer concentration on the morphology and size of the polymer particles was also investigated. 相似文献

Isotactic 6-armed star-shaped poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) with a narrow molecular weight distribution was successfully prepared by the living cationic polymerization of 6-armed star-shaped poly(tert-butyl vinyl ether) (PTBVE) and subsequent acidic ether cleavage. The PTBVE was synthesized using hexa(chloromethyl) melamine (HCMM) as a hexafunctional initiator and ZnI2 or ZnCl2 as an activator in toluene/MC (1/1 v/v) at −70 °C. A better living stability of PTBVE was obtained in the ZnCl2 activator system. The number average molecular weight and the polydispersity index of the 6-armed star-shaped PTBVE polymerized with ZnCl2 at −70 °C for 24 h were 156,000 g/mol and 1.47, respectively. The fraction of the mm sequence of the resulting PVA was 52%. 相似文献

We compare the photochemical stability of the nonlinear optical chromophore configurationally locked polyene 2-{3-[2-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)vinyl]-5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-enylidene} malononitrile (DAT2) embedded in a polymeric matrix and in a single-crystalline configuration. The results show that, under resonant light excitations, the polymeric compound degrades through an indirect process, while the DAT2 crystal follows a slow direct process. We show that chromophores in a crystalline environment exhibit three orders of magnitude better photostability as compared to guest-host polymer composites. 相似文献

Increasing the chemical diversity of organic semiconductors is essential to develop efficient electronic devices. In particular, the replacement of carbon-carbon (C−C) bonds with isoelectronic boron-nitrogen (B−N) bonds allows precise modulation of the electronic properties of semiconductors without significant structural changes. Although some researchers have reported the preparation of B2N2 anthracene derivatives with two B−N bonds, no compounds with continuous multiple BN units have been prepared yet. Herein, we report the synthesis and characterization of a B2N2 anthracene derivative with a BNBN unit formed by converting the BOBN unit at the zigzag edge. Compared to the all-carbon analogue 2-phenylanthracene, BNBN anthracene exhibits significant variations in the C−C bond length and a larger highest occupied molecular orbital–lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy gap. The experimentally determined bond lengths and electronic properties of BNBN anthracene are confirmed through theoretical calculations. The BOBN anthracene organic light-emitting diode, used as a blue host, exhibits a low driving voltage. The findings of this study may facilitate the development of larger acenes with multiple BN units and potential applications in organic electronics. 相似文献

Low-frequency driving of a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel to minimise power consumption has drawn much attention recently. In case an LCD panel is driven by a low-frequency fringe field, image flickering phenomenon is detected by the naked human eye when the sign of the applied electric field is reversed. We investigated the effect of electrode spacing on the image flickering phenomenon induced by the flexoelectric effect in a fringe-field-switching (FFS) liquid crystal cell. We found that the image flicker in an FFS cell under low-frequency driving can be eliminated in a simple manner by changing the electrode spacing. 相似文献

Mono‐ and bis(diphenylborane)‐fused porphyrins were synthesized from the corresponding β‐(2‐trimethylsilylphenyl)‐substituted porphyrins through the sequence of Si–B exchange reaction, intramolecular bora‐Friedel–Crafts reaction, and ring‐closing Si–B exchange reaction. Effective electronic interactions of the empty p‐orbital of the boron atom with the porphyrin π‐circuit lead to red‐shifted absorption spectra and substantially decreased LUMO energy levels. Pyridine adds at the boron center to cause disruption of the electronic interaction of the boron atom with large association constants (1.9–17×104 m ?1) depending on the central metal at the porphyrin. The ZnII complex behaved as a hetero‐dinuclear Lewis acid, exhibiting regioselective binding of pyridines at the boron or the zinc center. 相似文献
