In dark matter direct detection experiments,neutron is a serious source of background,which can mimic the dark matter-nucleus scattering signals.In this paper,we present an improved evaluation of the neutron background in the PandaX-II dark matter experiment by a novel approach.Instead of fully relying on the Monte Carlo simulation,the overall neutron background is determined from the neutron-induced high energy signals in the data.In addition,the probability of producing a dark-matter-like background per neutron is evaluated with a complete Monte Carlo generator,where the correlated emission of neutron(s)andγ(s)in the(α,n)reactions and spontaneous fissions is taken into consideration.With this method,the neutron backgrounds in the Run 9(26-ton-day)and Run 10(28-ton-day)data sets of PandaX-II are estimated to be(0.66±0.24)and(0.47±0.25)events,respectively.  相似文献

Recently it has been suggested that zero quantum coherence in scalar coupled spin systems at thermal equilibrium can be created by a single non-selective pulse. In this note, it is shown that the proposed effect will be masked as a consequence of the failure of the conventional high-temperature approximation normally applied to the equilibrium spin density operator. For exacting experiments, its appears that the approximation (eq) ≈ 1-H /kT may not suffice.  相似文献

A commercially-available sulfonphthalein derivative was demonstrated to be a chemodosimeter for Fe2+ and its sensing behavior was further investigated by UV-vis spectroscopy in aqueous media under the optimum conditions. In the presence of chlorophenol red (CPR) and H2O2, the absorption maximum at 435 nm decreased upon addition of Fe2+, resulting in a significant color change of the CPR solution from yellow to colorless. The chemosensor system did not show significant responses to a series of other metal ions including Al3+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2+, Mn2+, Co2+, Fe3+, Ni2+, Cu2+, La3+, Ce4+, Th4+, Pd2+, Pb2+, Sb3+, Cr3+, Au3+, Ag+, Nd3+, Sm3+, alkali and alkaline earth metal cations, allowing for highly selective naked-eye detection of Fe2+. Quantitative analysis was carried out kinetically for practicable the Fe2+ assay when either fixed time method or the initial rate method was applied. When the detecting time was set, the decrease of absorbance signal was linear with Fe2+ concentration in the range of 0 to 7.50 × 10?5 mol L?1 and the regression equation was ΔA = 0.00759 + 0.00593C Fe with a correlation coefficient r = 0.9953. The chemodosimetric system has employed an irreversible Fenton reagent-promoted oxidation of the CPR free chromophore and the hydroxyl radicals were generated in the presence of both Fe2+ and hydrogen peroxide. The mechanistic interpretation of the signaling process was partially confirmed by the radical scavenging experiment and the FT-IR analysis of the intermediates formed at different reaction periods.  相似文献

利用反应磁控溅射技术在BK-7基片上制备了二氧化钛和五氧化二铌均匀混合的光学薄膜.薄膜的内部微结构、表面形貌、化学成分比例以及光学性质等用X射线衍射、高分辨扫描电子显微镜、原子力显微镜、X射线光电子能谱和紫外可见近红外分光光度计进行研究;发现制备的薄膜为非晶结构,薄膜的表面平整、内部结构致密,不存在柱状结构或结晶颗粒的缺陷,TiO2与Nb2O5的成分比例大致是1∶1.54.从光学透射光谱计算的折射率和消光系数显示,在550 nm波长处的折射率为2.34,消光系数为2.0×10-4.结果表明制备的薄膜是TiO2和Nb2O5均匀混合的高质量光学薄膜.  相似文献

A detailed kinetic analysis and computational study of an SNAr reaction between 2,5,6‐trifluoronicotinonitrile, 2 , and the ambident 3‐isopropoxy‐1H‐pyrazol‐5‐amine, 3 , is presented. The selectivity with respect to the reaction at the primary amino group of 2 , to give the desired product, 2,5‐difluoro‐6‐[(3‐isopropoxy‐1H‐pyrazol‐5‐yl)amino]nicotinonitrile, 1 , is strongly dependent upon reaction conditions. Reaction is found to proceed via both uncatalysed and base catalysed routes, and selectivity towards 1 is strongly enhanced in the presence of the base diazabicyclo[2,2,2]octane (DABCO). Computational studies in tetrahydrofuran solution at the B3LYP/6‐31G* level of theory have provided valuable insight into alternative kinetically indistinguishable reaction pathways. The results suggest that for reaction at the primary amino group, proton removal by DABCO accompanying amine addition allows avoidance of a high‐energy, zwitterionic Meisenheimer intermediate. Reactions at the alternative pyrazole nitrogen atoms are less sensitive to the presence of base because of stabilisation of the Meisenheimer zwitterions by intramolecular hydrogen bonding. It has been found recently that the averaged phase-synchronization time between the input and the output signals of a nonlinear dynamical system can exhibit an extremely high sensitivity to variations in the noise level. In real-world signal-processing applications, sensitivity to frequency variations may be of considerable interest. Here we investigate the dependence of the averaged phase-synchronization time on frequency of the input signal. Our finding is that, for typical nonlinear oscillator systems, there can be a frequency regime where the time exhibits significant sensitivity to frequency variations. We obtain an analytic formula to quantify the frequency dependence, provide numerical support, and present experimental evidence from a simple nonlinear circuit system.  相似文献

Polymer thin-film transistors (PTFTs) based on poly(2-methoxy-5-(2′-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene) (MEH-PPV) semiconductor are fabricated by spin-coating process and characterized. In the experiments, solution preparation, deposition and device measurements are all performed in air for large-area applications. Hysteresis effect and gate-bias stress effect are observed for the devices at room temperature. The saturation current decreases and the threshold voltage shifts toward the negative direction upon gate-bias stress, but carrier mobility hardly changes. By using quasi-static C-V analysis for MOS capacitor structure, it can be deduced that the origin of threshold-voltage shift upon negative gate-bias stress is predominantly associated with hole trapping within the SiO2 gate dielectric near the SiO2/MEH-PPV interface due to hot-carrier emission.  相似文献

Based on energetic compound [1,2,5]‐oxadiazolo‐[3,4‐d]‐pyridazine, a series of functionalized derivatives were designed and first reported. Afterwards, the relationship between their structure and performance was systematically explored by density functional theory at B3LYP/6‐311 g (d, p) level. Results show that the bond dissociation energies of the weakest bond (N–O bond) vary from 157.530 to 189.411 kJ · mol?1. The bond dissociation energies of these compounds are superior to that of HMX (N–NO2, 154.905 kJ · mol?1). In addition, H1, H2, H4, I2, I3, C1, C2, and D1 possess high density (1.818–1.997 g · cm?3) and good detonation performance (detonation velocities, 8.29–9.46 km · s?1; detonation pressures, 30.87–42.12 GPa), which may be potential explosives compared with RDX (8.81 km · s?1, 34.47 GPa ) and HMX (9.19 km · s?1, 38.45 GPa). Finally, allowing for the explosive performance and molecular stability, three compounds may be suggested as good potential candidates for high‐energy density materials. The author and Rohatgi recently proved a ‘shuffling theorem’ for doubly-dented hexagons. In particular, they showed that shuffling removed unit triangles along a horizontal axis in a hexagon changes the tiling number by only a simple multiplicative factor. In this paper, we consider a similar phenomenon for a symmetry class of tilings, namely, the reflectively symmetric tilings. We also prove several shuffling theorems for halved hexagons.  相似文献
