We present developments in dynamic magnetic resonance imaging that allow internal structural muscle markers to be followed during heating. This monitoring is based on quantitative characterization of the experimental conditions and their temperature time course. A nonlinear image registration technique was optimized and applied to consecutively acquired images to measure the deformation fields in the muscle. A model coupling local deformation and temperature was obtained, which for the first time takes into account the variations of deformation and temperature in the sample. This modeling opens the way to a better understanding of the mechanisms responsible for mass loss and degradation of the textural properties of muscle during heating.  相似文献

The main compounds of non-thermal plasmas generated by a discharge in humid air at atmospheric pressure are re-examined to explain the twin chemical properties of discharges over aqueous waste solutions, i.e. the acid and oxidizing effects. The acid effects are attributed to transient nitrous and peroxynitrous acids and to stable nitric acid. The matching oxidizing power of the discharge species onto solutes is due to water soluble H2O2 provided by the dimer formation of °OH and also to peroxynitrous acid ONOOH and its salt which are involved in the oxidation process of nitrous to nitric acid.  相似文献

Okadaic acid (OA), a lipophilic phycotoxin is mainly produced by toxigenic dinoflagellates. The need to develop high performing methods for OA analysis able to improve the traditional ones is evident. In this work, a novel experimental methodology for label-free detection of OA was developed. Protein G magnetic beads (protein-G-MBs) modified gold electrode was used to immobilize anti-OA monoclonal antibody (anti-OA-MAb). Preliminary, colorimetric tests were performed in order to validate protein-G-MBs and anti-OA-MAb reaction. Electrochemical detection was carried out by differential pulse voltammetry in ferri/ferrocyanide solution. The limit of detection value obtained (0.5 μg L−1) validated the developed electrochemical immunosensor as a promising tool for routine use. The matrix effect and the recovery rate were also assessed with real samples, showing a good percentage of recovery.  相似文献

Gronwall’s function G is defined for n>1 by $G(n)=\frac{\sigma(n)}{n \log\log n}$ where σ(n) is the sum of the divisors of n. We call an integer N>1 a GA1 number if N is composite and G(N)≥G(N/p) for all prime factors p of N. We say that N is a GA2 number if G(N)≥G(aN) for all multiples aN of N. In (Caveney et al. Integers 11:A33, 2011), we used Robin’s and Gronwall’s theorems on G to prove that the Riemann Hypothesis (RH) is true if and only if 4 is the only number that is both GA1 and GA2. In the present paper, we study GA1 numbers and GA2 numbers separately. We compare them with superabundant (SA) and colossally abundant (CA) numbers (first studied by Ramanujan). We give algorithms for computing GA1 numbers; the smallest one with more than two prime factors is 183783600, while the smallest odd one is 1058462574572984015114271643676625. We find nineteen GA2 numbers ≤5040, and prove that a GA2 number N>5040 exists if and only if RH is false, in which case N is even and >108576.  相似文献

A large number of papers are adopting the Beavers and Joseph (BJ) condition (Beavers and Joseph, J Fluid Mech 30(1):197–207, 1967) for describing the boundary condition between a saturated porous medium and a free fluid, in place of the adherence condition. The aim of the paper is to bring some insight into the domain of validity of the BJ condition. After a short review of some papers on the subject, we point out that the experimental conditions of BJ do not show a good separation of scales. That makes the BJ condition not transposable to different macroscopic situations. When the separation of scales is good, an intrinsic boundary condition is obtained by using the homogenization technique of multiple scale asymptotic expansions. As in the BJ condition and other theoretical works, e.g., Jäger and Mikeli? (Transp Porous media, 2009, to appear) we obtain the adherence condition of the free fluid at the first order approximation. However, the corrector to the adherence condition is \({\mathcal{O}(\varepsilon^2)}\) whereas it is \({\mathcal{O}(\varepsilon)}\) in the BJ condition, where ε is the separation of scales parameter.  相似文献

Two subdivision schemes with Hermite data on ℤ are studied. These schemes use 2 or 7 parameters respectively depending on whether Hermite data involve only first derivatives or include second derivatives. For a large region in the parameter space, the schemes are convergent in the space of Schwartz distributions. The Fourier transform of any interpolating function can be computed through products of matrices of order 2 or 3. The Fourier transform is related to a specific system of functional equations whose analytic solution is unique except for a multiplicative constant. The main arguments for these results come from Paley-Wiener-Schwartz theorem on the characterization of the Fourier transforms of distributions with compact support and a theorem of Artzrouni about convergent products of matrices.  相似文献

The classical Hecke identity gives the Fourier transform of the product of a homogeneous harmonic polynomial h times the Gaussian e−1/2<...>. A similar formula is valid when the Gaussian is replaced by the tempered distribution ei/2<...>. It is shown that there is a similar identity when the inner product is replaced by an indefinite quadratic formq and h is a Л-harmonic distribution, where Л is the differential operator canonically associated toq. Another generalization is obtained in the context of representations of Jordan algebras, in the spirit of Herz's previous work on matrix spaces.  相似文献

Applications of the χ2 test, the F test, the Durbin-Watson d test, and the f (or Sign) test, to examples of correlated data treatment, show important drawbacks with the d test and (apparently) with the f test. An analytical approach based on residual analysis suggests an improvement in their use that leads to better results at lowest order; it also points out a distinction between goodness-of-fit tests, as the f test, and goodness-of-modeling tests, as the χ2 and F tests. The residual analysis method is applied to the same examples; it looks faster, simpler, and often more accurate than the classical ones.  相似文献

Cytochrome c (cyt c) is an electron-transfer heme protein that also binds nitric oxide (NO). In resting cyt c, two endogenous ligands of the heme iron are histidine-18 (His) and methionine-80 (Met) side chains, and NO binding requires the cleavage of one of the axial bonds. Previous femtosecond transient absorption studies suggested the photolysis of either Fe-His or Fe-Met bonds. We aimed at unequivocally identifying the internal side chain that is photodissociated in ferrous cyt c and at monitoring heme structural dynamics, by means of time-resolved resonance Raman (TR3) spectroscopy with approximately 0.6 ps time resolution. The Fe-His stretching mode at 216 cm-1 has been observed in photoproduct TR3 spectra for the first time for a c-type heme. The same transient mode was observed for a model ferrous cyt c N-fragment (residues 1-56) ligated with two His in the resting state. Our TR3 data reveal that upon ferrous cyt c photoexcitation, (i) distal Met side chain is instantly released, producing a five-coordinated domed heme structure, (ii) proximal His side chain, coupled to the heme, exhibits distortion due to strain exerted by the protein, and (iii) alteration in heme-cysteine coupling takes place along with the relaxation of the protein-induced deformations of the heme macrocycle.  相似文献
