This paper provides extensive evidence from a simulation model supporting our claim that it is not appropriate to use the Euclidean metric in a competitive system where the Manhattan metric would provide a more accurate representation of distances. The Euclidean metric has the property of biasing firms' demands by a distortion of their sensitivity to competitive strategies and, therefore, generates an excessive level of competition.  相似文献

In preclinical research, genetic studies have made considerable progress as a result of the development of transgenic animal models of human diseases. Consequently, there is now a need for higher resolution MRI to provide finer details for studies of small animals (rats, mice) or very small animals (insects). One way to address this issue is to work with high-magnetic-field spectrometers (dedicated to small animal imaging) with strong magnetic field gradients. It is also necessary to develop a complete methodology (transmit/receive coil, pulse sequence, fixing system, air supply, anesthesia capabilities, etc.). In this study, we developed noninvasive protocols, both in vitro and in vivo (from coil construction to image generation), for drosophila MRI at 9.4 T. The 10*10*80-μm resolution makes it possible to visualize whole drosophila (head, thorax, abdomen) and internal organs (ovaries, longitudinal and transverse muscles, bowel, proboscis, antennae and optical lobes). We also provide some results obtained with a Drosophila model of muscle degeneration. This opens the way for new applications of structural genetic modification studies using MRI of drosophila.  相似文献

We give a practical version of the exclusion algorithm for localizing the zeros of an analytic function and in particular of a polynomial in a compact of . We extend the real exclusion algorithm to a Jordan curve and give a method which excludes discs without any zero. The result of this algorithm is a set of discs arbitrarily small which contains the zeros of the analytic function.  相似文献

Pumped by the 9R(6) 12C16O2 laser lines, CH2F2 produces five SMM emissions. Levels involved in this process are identified with the help of a Fourier transform spectrum. Among these emissions we find cascade and intervibrational transitions allowed by Coriolis resonance between v9 and v3.  相似文献

A number of sound field separation techniques have been proposed for different purposes. However, these techniques just consider the separation of sound fields in the space domain and are restricted to stationary sound fields. When the sound fields are nonstationary, it is also necessary to perform the separation in the time domain. Therefore, on the basis of the propagation principle of sound pressure in the time-wavenumber domain, a nonstationary sound field separation technique with two closely spaced parallel measurement surfaces is proposed. It can separate the nonstationary signals generated by the primary sources in both time and space domains when the disturbing sources exist on the other side of the measurement plane. The signals in time and space domains are separated by using the spatial Fourier transform method and the time domain deconvolution method. A simulation involving two monopoles driven by nonstationary signals demonstrates that the method proposed can remove the influence of disturbing sources in both time and space domains. The feasibility of this method is also demonstrated by an experiment with two loudspeakers located on two sides of measurement planes. Additionally, to comment more objectively on the separation results, some indicators are computed in both the simulation and experiment.  相似文献

The UV excited and persistent luminescence properties as well as thermoluminescence (TL) of Eu2+ doped strontium aluminates, SrAl2O4:Eu2+ were studied at different temperatures. Two luminescence bands peaking at 445 and 520 nm were observed at 20 K but only the latter at 295 K. Both Sr-sites in the lattice are thus occupied by Eu2+ but at room temperature efficient energy transfer occurs between the two sites. The UV excited and persistent luminescence spectra were similar at 295 K but the excitation spectra were different. Thus the luminescent centre is the same in both phenomena but excitation processes are different. Two TL peaks were observed between 50 and 250 °C in the glow curve. Multiple traps were, however, observed by preheating and initial rise methods. With longer delay times only the high temperature TL peak was observed. The persistent luminescence is mainly due to slow fading of the low temperature TL peak but the step-wise feeding process from high temperature traps is also probable.  相似文献

SrBi2-xHoxNb2O9 (0?≤?x?≤?0.5) ceramics were prepared through the conventional solid state route. The materials have been characterized by XRD, FTIR and SEM. All compounds were pure and well crystallized. In FTIR spectroscopy, the spectral patterns of the crystal structures of these polyphases are unique and smoothly different from each other. The grains were prone to become spherical with increasing x. Dielectric and electrical properties of these materials as a function of temperature at different frequencies have been carried out. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss were found to decrease with an increase of the holmium concentration at room temperature. Reaching up to x?=?0.4 and x?=?0.5, the diffusivity increases, leading to the occurrence of relaxor behavior. 20–30 at.% Ho doping on the Bi-site can fill up the oxygen vacancies and decrease the AC conductivity. However, at higher doping levels greater than 40% holmium oxide, the AC conductivity is found to increase.  相似文献

Muonium adds to allyl chloride, CH2=CHCH2Cl, to form two radicals: MuCH2CHCH2Cl (main product) and CH2CHMuCH2Cl (minor product). Both radicals were fully characterized bySR andLCR. In the main product, the LCR lines due to the35Cl and37Cl nuclei were observed. Also, the temperature dependence of various hyperfine coupling constants (hfc) indicates that both Mu and Cl eclipse the unpaired electronp 2-orbital in the minimum energy conformation. For the fragment-CH2Cl, the presence of Mu in the-position is found to affect significantly the hfc of Cl in the-position; an internal rotational barrier of 12 kJ mol–1 was estimated using a simpleV 2 torsional potential.  相似文献
