Using the Faber polynomials, we obtain coefficient expansions for analytic bi-close-to-convex functions and determine coefficient estimates for such functions. We also demonstrate the unpredictable behavior of the early coefficients of subclasses of bi-univalent functions. Although they are simple techniques from the early days of timetabling research, graph colouring heuristics are still attracting significant research interest in the timetabling research community. These heuristics involve simple ordering strategies to first select and colour those vertices that are most likely to cause trouble if deferred until later. Most of this work used a single heuristic to measure the difficulty of a vertex. Relatively less attention has been paid to select an appropriate colour for the selected vertex. Some recent work has demonstrated the superiority of combining a number of different heuristics for vertex and colour selection. In this paper, we explore this direction and introduce a new strategy of using linear combinations of heuristics for weighted graphs which model the timetabling problems under consideration. The weights of the heuristic combinations define specific roles that each simple heuristic contributes to the process of ordering vertices. We include specific explanations for the design of our strategy and present the experimental results on a set of benchmark real world examination timetabling problem instances. New best results for several instances have been obtained using this method when compared with other constructive methods applied to this benchmark dataset.  相似文献

The asymptotic estimate for the expected number of real zeros of a random algebraic polynomial is known. The identical random coefficients aj(ω) are normally distributed defined on a probability space , ω ∈Ω. The estimate for the expected number of zeros of the derivative of the above polynomial with respect to x is also known, which gives the expected number of maxima and minima of Qn(x, ω). In this paper we provide the asymptotic value for the expected number of zeros of the integration of Qn(x,ω) with respect to x. The main purpose of this study is to establish the existence of a weak solution to the anti-plane stress problem on V-notch domains for a class of recently proposed new models that could describe elastic materials in which the stress can increase unboundedly while the strain yet remains small. We shall also investigate the qualitative properties of the solution that is established. Although the equations governing the deformation that are being considered share certain similarities with the minimal surface problem, the boundary conditions and the presence of an additional model parameter that appears in the equation and its specific range makes the problem, as well as the result, different from those associated with the minimal surface problem.  相似文献

Relative one-weight linear codes were introduced by Liu and Chen over finite fields. These codes can be defined just as simply for egalitarian and homogeneous weights over Frobenius bimodule alphabets. A key lemma helps describe the structure of relative one-weight codes, and certain known types of two-weight linear codes can then be constructed easily. The key lemma also provides another approach to the MacWilliams extension theorem.  相似文献

For any such a weak solution, we prove the interior smoothness, and the properties of uniqueness, convexity of hessian energy, and unique limit at \(t=\infty \) . We verify that any weak solution \(u\) to the heat flow of biharmonic maps from \(\Omega \) to a compact Riemannian manifold \(N\) without boundary, with \(\nabla ^2 u\in L^q_tL^p_x\) for some \(p>\frac{n}{2}\) and \(q>2\) satisfying (1.12), has small renormalized total energy locally and hence enjoys both the interior smoothness and uniqueness property. Finally, if an initial data \(u_0\in W^{2,r}(\mathbb{R }^n, N)\) for some \(r>\frac{n}{2}\) , then we establish the local existence of heat flow of biharmonic maps \(u\) , with \(\nabla ^2 u\in L^q_tL^p_x\) for some \(p>\frac{n}{2}\) and \(q>2\) satisfying (1.12).  相似文献
