Coconut is one of the most important harvests in Malaysia. Industrial prepared coir fiber is obtained from coconut husk combined with latex and other additives to enhance its structural characteristics. Unfortunately, such inevitable process diminishes the acoustical features of material. Previous studies on industrial coir fiber and fiber-air gap layers showed that low frequency absorptions needed improvements. Therefore perforated plate (PP) was added to the multilayer structure to further enhance the sound absorption in this area. Analyses were accomplished through three PP modeling approaches (Allard, Beranek and Ver, Atalla and Sgard) and Allard Transfer Function (TF) method. Experiments were conducted in impedance tube to support the analytical results. Outcomes showed that Allard TF method was generally closer to measurement values and implemented for additional analyses. Two possible conditions of putting PP in front of fiber layer or between fiber-air gap layers were investigated. Both arrangements were suitable to enhance the sound absorption. Although, when PP was backed by coir fiber and air gap, porosity of the plate had great influence in adjusting the amount of low frequency absorption. Result derived that PP might improve the low frequency absorption of coir fiber but at the same time the medium frequency absorption was reduced. This effect was noticed previously in coir fiber-air gap structures while the air gap thickness increased. The advantage of using PP was that it assisted in greatly reducing the air gap thickness under the same acoustical performance. In this study, internal microstrain of an iron–resin composite produced by powder metallurgy has been calculated using the Williamson–Hall method. The effects of microstrain evolution during different processing conditions on magnetic properties such as coercive force and hysteresis loss have been investigated. The results show that there are regular and similar changes of coercivity and hysteresis loss. Both of these properties are directly dependant on the pinning effect of the internal microstrain against the movement of magnetic domain walls during magnetization process. 相似文献

In this paper we present evidence for a phase explosion during the laser-induced ablation process by studying the optical
reflectivity of the ablated plume. The ablation was produced by irradiating thin film aluminum coated on a quartz substrate
with a single pulse laser beam in ambient air. The laser pulse was provided by the second harmonic of a Q-switched Nd:YAG
laser with ∼10 ns pulse duration. The transmission of a low power He–Ne laser beam through the hot ablated material plume
and its reflection (from the front surface, and rear surface of aluminum film) were also monitored during the duration of
the ablation event. The results show that the front surface reflectivity is enhanced at an early time of ablation which is

A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified with a thin layer of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and subsequently, electrochemically deposited poly‐pyrrole. The electrochemical behavior of mesalazine was studied on the surface of the modified electrode by applying linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). The electropolymerization process and the electrochemical response toward mesalazine were investigated in the presence of different aromatic anion dopants including, benzenesulfonic acid (BSA), 1,3‐benzenedisulfonic acid (1,3‐BDSA), 1,5‐naphthalenedisulfonic acid (1,5‐NDSA) and new coccine (NC). By using 1,5‐NDSA as dopant, a significant increase (~418 times) in the peak current of mesalazine was observed, in comparison to the bare GCE. Experimental variables such as drop size of the cast MWCNTs suspension, pH of the supporting electrolyte, accumulation conditions and the number of scans in the electropolymerization process were optimized by monitoring the LSV responses of mesalazine. Under the optimum conditions, two linear dynamic ranges of 0.01–0.1 µmol L?1 and 0.1–1.0 µmol L?1 with a detection limit of 3 nmol L?1 were resulted for the voltammetric determination of mesalazine. The prepared electrode showed high sensitivity, stability and good reproducibility for determination of mesalazine. These properties made the prepared sensor suitable for the determination of mesalazine in pharmaceutical and clinical preparations. 相似文献

AbstractIsopropyl methylphosphonoselenofluoridate (sarin-Se) was synthesized in order to determine its analytical data and to compare them as well as its reactivity parameters with those of sarin. After synthesis, sarin-Se was characterized using 1H, 13?C and 31P NMR spectroscopy and high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS). 1H and 13?C NMR chemical shifts were also calculated using density functional theory (DFT) and compared with experimental data, showing a close agreement. Electrophilicity indices of sarin and sarin-Se were calculated at B3LYP/6-31++G (2d, 2p) level of theory. HOMO-LUMO analysis provides a basis to explain electrophilic nature of sarin-Se and sarin, which are almost similar. Based on calculated data, 31P NMR chemical shift and the reactivity of sarin-Se towards some enzymes such as acetylcholinesterase and albumin were explained. 相似文献

An unexpected approach to the preparation of quinoxaline and pyrido[2,3‐b]pyrazine derivatives 5 is described. The reaction between 1H‐indole‐2,3‐diones 1 , 1‐phenyl‐2‐(triphenylphosphoranylidene)ethanone ( 2 ), and benzene‐1,2‐ or pyridine‐2,3‐diamines 3 proceeds in MeOH under reflux in good to excellent yields (Scheme 1 and Table). No co‐catalyst or activator is required for this multi‐component reaction (MCR), and the reaction is, from an experimental point of view, simple to perform. The structures of 5, 5′ , and 6 were corroborated spectroscopically (IR, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR, and EI‐MS) and were confirmed by comparison with reference compounds.
