A standard HPLC was adapted to polymer supported oligosaccharide synthesis. Solution-based reagents are delivered using a software-controlled solvent delivery system. The reaction progress and completion can be monitored in real time using a standard UV detector. All steps of oligosaccharide assembly including loading, glycosylation, deprotection, and cleavage can be performed using this setup.  相似文献

Zn0.8Co0.2O and Zn0.8Mn0.2O films were deposited on substrates by a sol–gel technique. X-ray diffraction, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, photoluminescence, and ferromagnetism measurements were used to characterize these dilute magnetic semiconductors. It is shown that the ferromagnetic properties might be related to the formation of acceptor-like defects in the Zn0.8Co0.2O and Zn0.8Mn0.2O films. It is found that ferromagnetic Zn0.8Mn0.2O has a higher Curie temperature than Zn0.8Co0.2O. In addition, the higher ratio of grain-boundary area to grain volume of Zn0.8Mn0.2O than Zn0.8Co0.2O indicates that grain boundaries and related acceptors are the intrinsic origin for ferromagnetism.  相似文献

Organic peroxides (OPs) and inorganic peroxides (IPs) are usually employed as an initiator for polymerization, a source of free radicals, a hardener, and a linking agent in low density polyethylene (LDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), controlled-rheology polypropylene (CR-PP), and styrene industries. Worldwide, due to their unstably reactive natures, OPs and IPs have caused many serious thermal explosions and runaway reaction incidents. This study was conducted to elucidate its essentially hazardous characteristics. To analyze the runaway behavior of OPs and IPs in the traditional process, thermokinetic parameters including heat of decomposition (??H d ), exothermic onset temperature (T 0), self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT), time to maximum rate (TMR), critical temperature (T c ), etc., were measured by calorimetric approaches involving differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), vent sizing package 2 (VSP2), and calculation method. Safety and health handling information of hazardous materials and toxic substances is noted in material safety data sheets (MSDS) and was applied to analyze in process safety management (PSM) in the chemical industries, but MSDS are not providing important handling indicators concerning the SADT, TMR, T c , etc. In view of loss prevention, more useful indicators must be provided in the sheets or guide book.  相似文献

This paper presents a direct Poisson solver based on an error minimized Chebyshev pseudospectral penalty formulation for problems defined on rectangular domains. In this study the penalty parameters are determined analytically such that the discrete L2 error is minimized. Numerical experiments are conducted and the results show that the penalty scheme computes numerical solutions with better accuracy, compared to the traditional approach with boundary conditions enforced strongly.  相似文献

The effects of ion implantation on the properties of spin-on sol–gel Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3 (BST) thin films were studied by implanted Ar+, N+, and F+ doses. The F+-implanted BST samples present leakage current density <10−6 A/cm2 at 2.5 V and dielectric constant 450. The leakage current of F+-implanted BST samples was reduced about one order of magnitude as compared with that of samples with implanted Ar+, N+ or without implantation. The thickness shrinkage from 135 to 115 nm was observed in F+-implanted BST films (before annealing treatment) and a respective increase in the refractive index from 1.84 to 2.05 was measured. After annealing the implanted samples, the changes of thickness and refractive index depend on the concentration of implanted dose. Based on an infrared transmission study of the samples we suggest that the ion-implanted samples with smaller dose (5×1014 cm−2) have fewer −OH contaminants than the non-implanted or implanted samples with the larger doses (1×1015 cm−2). Based on the results presented, we conclude that suitable ion implantation densifies the spin-on sol–gel BST films and reduces the −OH contaminants in the films.  相似文献

Epitaxial thin films of Fe3O4 and CoFe2O4 on MgO (0 0 1) substrates were grown by molecular beam epitaxy at low temperature growth process. Magnetization and hysteresis loop of both films were measured to investigate magnetic anisotropic properties at various temperatures. Anomalous magnetic properties are found to be correlated with crystalline, shape, and stress anisotropies. The Fe3O4 film below Verwey structural transition has a change in crystal structure, thus causing many anomalous magnetic properties. Crystalline anisotropy and anomalous magnetic properties are affected substantially by Co ions. The saturation magnetization of Co–ferrite film becomes much lower than that of Fe3O4 film, being very different from the bulks. It indicates that the low temperature growth process could not provide enough energy to have the lowest energy state.  相似文献

Due to its diverse applications in photonics, bio-sensors, mechanics, etc., Mach–Zehnder interferometer becomes one of important devices. Hence, lots of efforts have been paid to develop advanced Mach–Zehnder interferometers. In this work, we explore new-model Mach–Zehnder interferometer, in which one of arm is consisted of magnetic fluid films. By utilizing the tunable refractive index of magnetic fluid films under external magnetic fields, the traveling phase of a propagating light through the magnetic fluid film is changed. This could lead to a variation in the interfered intensity of the Mach–Zehnder interferometer when an external magnetic field is applied. The modulation in the interfered intensity by the external magnetic field is demonstrated experimentally, and the relevant physical origin is also discussed.  相似文献

A frequency tunable active leaky-wave scanning antenna using Gunn-diode voltage control oscillator (VCO) as source is developed. The frequency tuning controlled by changing either the varactor diode dc bias or the Gunn diode dc bias is demonstrated. The measured scanning angle of active antenna is close to 15 degree as the Gunn VCO frequency tuned from 12.58GHz to 12.98GHz. To excite the first higher order mode of the microstrip leaky-wave antenna is fed asymmetrically. The dominant mode excitation has been successfully suppressed by adding a sequence of covered wire in the middle line of the microstrip leaky wave antenna. This is a prototype of frequency scanning antenna using two terminal device, which can be easily scaled up to millimeter wave frequency region.  相似文献

Magnetic and transport properties of (La0.7Pb0.3MnO3)1−xAgx composites are explored in this study. Ferromagnetism is gradually attenuated due to the magnetic dilution with increase of Ag content percentage. Clearly irreversible behavior in the zero-field cooling and field cooling curves at a low field caused by the competition between the magnetization and magnetic domain orientation processes has been observed as x increases. Saturation magnetization decreases as x increases, while ferromagnetic transition temperature remains around 346 K for all composites. The resistivity decreases significantly for (La0.7Pb0.3MnO3)1−xAgx composites. It is suggested that introduction of Ag into the niche of grain boundaries forms artificial conducting network and improves the carriers to transport. However, enhancement of magnetoresistance has been observed for the system.  相似文献
