Synthesis of unsaturated esters of pyridine- and quinolinedicarboxylic acids

The divinyl, diallyl, and dipropargyl esters of pyridine-2,4-, pyridine-2,6-, and quinoline-2,4-dicarboxylic acids and the divinyl and dipropargyl esters of pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid have been synthesized.

β-Alanyl aminomethylphosphonic acid (β-ala AMPh) has been studied in the solid state by X-ray diffraction and vibration spectrometry. It crystallizes (space group P1&;#x0304; with Z = 4) as a zwitterion with, in the asymétrie unit, two independent molecules the conformations of which are quite different. The hydrogen bonding network is very complicated. Because the infrared spectra are very complicated, only a partial correlation of the vibrations of ammonium, amide and phosphonic groups is proposed.     

Synthesis of derivatives of pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidines condensed with tetrahydropyran and tetrahydrothiopyran

Methods have been developed for obtaining derivatives of W-amino(oxo)-, 8,10-dioxo-, and 10-amino-8-oxo(thio)pyrano(thiopyrano) [4,3:4,5]pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine on the basis of 3-amino(benzylamino)-4-cyano (carbamoyl)pyrano(thiopyrano)[3,4-c]-pyridines.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 12, pp. 1683–1687, December, 1993.     

Inhibition of the oxidation reaction of cumene by complexes of metals of variable valence with dimethyl- and diphenylglyoxime
