Three parts of the paper [Czech. J. Phys.41 (1991) 620,7 are focused on the Landauer-Büttiker approach to the study of transport in two-dimensional electron systems, with particular attention to the influence of an external magnetic field. In the previous parts the Landauer formalism was generalized for two-dimensional systems in quantizing magnetic fields. In the present part we applied the formalism to an analysis of magnetoresistance measurements. The two-dimensional electron gas preserved in the non-dissipative quantum Hall regime acts as the ideal leads necessary in the Landauer-Büttiker approach. The voltage, applied to the gate, forms a scattering region in the gated part of the sample, in between of its undisturbed parts (ideal leads). The dependence of the resistance on the gate voltage and the number of available channels within the ideal leads are discussed.The author wishes to thank to Professor P. Expressing the influence of reservoirs (lattice modes, solvent etc.) on the exciton or electron propagation in homogeneous systems via two relaxation times in the Agranovich and Galanin model, the convolutionless Generalized Master Equations for the site occupation probabilities are derived. This paper discusses the influence of chemical composition on the final electromagnetic properties in higher permeability material. Furthermore, the effect of the hot rolling practice and the end of austenite transformation temperature range on the hot band microstructure is described. The magnetic polarization J5000 better than 1.7 T, using hot rolling conditions 40 mm transfer bar thickness, finish mill entry temperature 1000 °C, and finishing temperature 800–840 °C and after decarburization heat treatment and grain growth treatment, was obtained.  相似文献

We study the fabrication and power conversion efficiency of GaAs photodiodes, which have been nano-structured and covered with colloidal quantum dots. A focussed ion beam is used to etch vertical channels into the photodiodes and the detrimental effects of this treatment are characterised in-situ during the fabrication process. A novel experimental configuration allows the electrical characterization of the photodiodes under laser illumination during the nano-fabrication process and reveals the gradual decrease of the photodiodes’ shunt resistance with increasing laterally revealed surface along the etched channels. This is interpreted as evidence for leakage currents through redeposited material and surface states on the lateral channel surface. After the fabrication step the channels are filled with colloidal quantum dots, which upon absorption of light transfer electronic excitations to the photodiode via resonance energy transfer. It is found that after the addition of quantum dots the nano-structured photodiodes show larger enhancements of the energy conversion efficiency under simulated solar irradiance than the pristine photodiodes. Nevertheless, the device degradation induced by the ion beam treatment itself cannot be compensated for.  相似文献

We present the results of Monte Carlo simulations of the liquid-vapor interface of sodium-cesium alloys. The longitudinal density profile of each alloy shows that the liquid-vapor interface consists of a well-defined monolayer of cesium sitting on top of a slab of the bulk alloy. Underneath the monolayer there is a slight excess of sodium. A comparison with a van der Waals analog of one of the alloys shows that the presence of the well-defined monolayer of cesium on the outside of the liquid-vapor interface is a feature peculiar to metallic mixtures. The transverse pair correlation functions of the cesium monolayer are insensitive to the composition of the bulk of the slab.  相似文献

A new algorithm is presented, based on elements of artificial intelligence theory, to determine the fractal properties of the backbone of the incipient infinite cluster. It is found that the fractal dimensionality of the backbone isd f BB =1.61±0.01, the chemical dimensionality isd t=1.40±0.01, and the fractal dimension of the minimum pathd min=1.15 ± 0.02 for the two-dimensional triangular lattice.  相似文献
